@Serket: (unlocked: goose wings) The hard, irritating organic was easily able to be absorbed, though it took longer than the slime expected. It was from something other than the smooth skin, and poking through it. But only when pressure was applied. As the slime absorbed the pointed part, it found that it was far longer and deeper into the other organic than just the pokey part. It wasn't solid, though. It was... once the outermost edge and point were absorbed, nothing was within it. But there were more of them, able to be noticed when a hole was absorbed in the skin and the irritating pokey thing were both dissolved.

There was almost no trace of whatever the blackened objects had been before the hot light had eaten them left in them. Aster didn't even get any information about what they had used to be when the slime digested them, only about what they had turned into now. There were very few nutrients inside of them as well, and they didn't even taste good. Aster was beginning to regret eating them. Certainly the slime wouldn't have done so if there was better food around.

As it held the third piece of blackened organic in its mouth, it then began to notice that charred object was . . . interacting? . . . with the red puffy it had scooped up with it, making them both taste more interesting. Not better, exactly, but like there was more information there, somehow. Aster didn't understand how that could happen, but it wanted to find out, and it wasn't like there was anything better for the slime to do at the moment. The slime chewed at the charred organic nugget until it had broken up into small pieces, and then scooped more red puffy into its mouth on top of them. The slime held off on swallowing for as long as possible, wanting the char and the puffy to get mixed together as much as possible. Aster rapidly shook its head from side to side, trying to hurry the process.

Avisk watched Unsure. It was rubbing the red into the charred thing before eating it. And Kind was still missing, which it wanted to go see where it was. But it wanted to make sure Unsure knew that. Except, well, Unsure seemed busy. And Avisk was starting to get hungry again as it grew.

Why was it growing anyways? Was this charred food enough to cause that? If Unsure was mixing the two together, Avisk figured that meant it was better food. Kind and Unsure were larger, so that could mean something right?

The slime broke off another piece of the charred, setting it into the red stuff before chomping them both into its mouth gap. It repeated that process to start sating its hunger more as it grew. Yet it still wondered where Kind was and the scales rattled a little.

Zeditha figured that Runner and Small were probably still by the Red. She flew back, remembering where she had come from, and landed near them again. (She basically just flew up, so going down again isn't hard.) She had failed to get the Shinies back before, and she wouldn't do it on her own now. She needed the others.

As soon as she landed, she made the loudest sound she could, and jumped and flapped her wings. She had to get their attention, and fast! Then they could go together and get back their Shinies! She doubted Small would be much help, but Small would want to be there when they got their Shinies back.

After making the noise, Zeditha paused for a moment and buried her beak in the Red once again. She hadn't eaten enough of it to get anything from it; she had to eat more. She also found a little more of the black, probably not enough to get anything from it but it made her a tiny bit less hungry.

She wanted to eat Angry, and get back the Shiny - but she needed the other slimes' help to do it.

((She barked, in case it makes a difference. She barked as loudly as possible.))

More. More? Yes, there was more. The slime continued to absorb the point and the edge, feeling an unusual light texture as it did so. Light, an odd kind of soft, and sometimes not there, but it was connected to the pointed part. It was still organic, and so the slime continued to absorb it before moving on. There were more, and they were good. As the slime shifted over the organic, its movement caused them to tremble again. This time the slime payed ignored the trembling and simply concentrated on absorbing. There were many of the pointed soft organics, scattered upon the soft curve of the circle. As the slime dissolved them into itself it felt a sense of fullness, but it did not occur then to the slime that this sensation should be acknowledged. The only feeling that mattered was texture, and organic. Both of which were present in the pokey irritants.

More. There was more, and it was good. The slime didn't recognize the difference between good or bad. It only understood the difference between absence of organic and presence of organic. If there was organic, the slime could absorb it, and on some primal level the slime knew that meant good. The slime pursued the organic, following minute changes in the ground's texture and committing the taste of the pointy-soft to whatever kind of memory it had. Perhaps this understanding of different textures would be useful? For the moment, the slime had no way of knowing. All it knew was to absorb and consume every shred of organic that remained in the circle before retreating to the hot outside.

Crell rips at the thing that had fallen, his mouth biting at it and ripping it as best he can as he steps on it with one of his legs and tries to hold it down. Biting at it again and trying to work his teeth into the dry meat and ripping into it his other legs pushing against the organic under him making him curious what kind of organic it is and in between bites he tries to bite at the soft thing below him.

@Avialae, Dragonhatchling, and Zeditha:

The red stuff is pros-check. Instead of just giving you the unlock, I'll also describe what it does and why I didn't say it specifically. This is what it can do:

-It is a foam that puts out fire (which is why Avisk couldn't make fire come out of his back)

-It is initially red, but the color disappears pretty quick. You can change this color to something you've unlocked if you want. Self-disintegrating spraypaint! (reason for the colorchange stated earlier)

-It is a super plant enhancement after it dries into dust (which is why Avisk's thorns grew- no one else had obvious plant parts for me to affect)

But though it's a foam, and a chemical, you should all be beaten up and have crappy movement and such. But I'm forgoing that and only looking at the last two abilities of this new gland for you three.

----------------------------------------------------------------------

@Avisk: (unlocked: pros-check gland, maple seed pod) The slime felt a small movement through the ground. Not a big one like when limbs fell from the tall organics, but something far smaller. Looking around, it saw the big slime that had disappeared. It was back, and now it was making loud, frantic noises. The slime had gotten enough of the stuff it found to fill itself at least somewhat; it was still hungry but not famished.

@Zeditha: (unlocked: pros-check gland) The smaller slime was... bigger than it was before. Not by that much, but the pokey parts it had were easily twice as long! They even looked harder than they were before. It had looked at the slime- but if it was trying to make noise in response, it couldn't hear it over its own noisiness. The new amount of red stuff made the slime feel slightly strange... but nothing seemed to happen. At least, not that it recognized.

@Aster: (unlocked: pros-check gland, maple bark) The flying slime came back down to the ground after a very short time... and now instead of silently doing whatever it was doing, it was making loud annoying noises. Could the slime make those noises? Different ones seemed to mean different things, but it didn't know what this noise was. The organic/inorganic mix in the slime's mouth seemed to dissolve faster now, and enough of its hunger was sated that it wasn't distractingly painful anymore.

@Serket: (unlocked: silk worm, goose) The slime could feel the inorganic above it slowly collapsing more and more, the heat from up coming down. It had been absorbing as much as it could, but found that the organic went upwards and out of the circular ground that was away from the hot. Not much anymore, though. The weight of the inorganic was luckily... mostly sliding off the slime, or at least not staying on it long, filling the areas that the slime had absorbed. The heat was doing something strange, too! It was getting warmer as the slime went up, but now the same heat wasn't getting hotter.

@Crell: (unlocked: cheetah pattern) Some sort of.. consuming the thing gave the slime the knowledge of how it was shaped, and the slime already had something similar to it. It was the thing that was floating on top of the wet, in the thick film. The thing whose eye it replicated but abandoned. In its fury, the slime tore at something else. In the slime's furious consumption of everything below it, it got a mouthful of something else. Something... it was not fresh either, but wasn't as dried out as the other one was. It was supple.

OOC: Viirin, Aster currently has redwood bark for skin. Would that be affected by eating the pros-check?

Plant. Aster didn't know why, but after being soaked and ground with the red puffy, it could finally tell that the charred organic was, or had been, plant similar in construction to what it had currently covered its body in for protection. The puffy didn't make the burned plant taste more like plant, though, so Aster decided not to eat it any longer now that it wasn't quite so hungry. It swallowed the last remnants of the charred plant in its mouth and turned its attention towards Big. It was making a lot of loud, rough noises in quick succession. The slime was obviously trying quite hard to communicate something to the other two, but Aster didn't know what it was. It chirped at Big, adding a trilling sound at the end that trailed upward, indicating its unsureness. If Big had found something, Aster was willing to check it out, since there was nothing much here. Even if it was a threat, if they managed to take it out they could eat it once it was dead. At least they would have food that way.

Ripping into the new not fresh thing under him that was different that what was to dried to use Crell bites at it as he slides over and rips more of it up. His eyes blink faster and faster and closing they grow half against wider and it stays similar to what it had been but it was half way between what it had been but half way to what had been there before. His legs quiver and grow a little more from his body the joint in the middle grows almost less that can be seen as little points grow just above where the very fine things had grown out of on the bottom of each. While the tiny hairs still gave a little more grip than nothing these points grow and each leg grows what looks like three more tiny legs at the end with a much sharper pointed end that pokes down against the bottom.

[[OOC: the eyes are now half parahna half seagull. the legs each grew three tiny protrusions with claws from the birds that help give him more stability.

Zeditha realised that her actions had got the others' attention. She decided not to care about any of the Red strangeness; she had a different problem.

Angry was lurking, with the Shinies, and she had to tell the others. But she didn't know how.

She tried to think of what a Shiny was. It was small (she moved her wings so the tips were a small way apart) and round (she tucked one wing back and moved the other in a smallish circle) and shiny... There wasn't a way to show shiny. If she had known what the gesture meant she would have rolled her eyes; as it was she stamped one foot, shook her head briefly, and started again.

The angry slime was over there. 'over there' was a simple case of pointing with a wing. Then she had to signal a slime... She indicated the slime inside her beak. It was still slime, so a good representative of what they were. Now, angry... She flared out her wings and tried to look angry. She wasn't sure if it worked, but she repeated the moves a few times and then walked to Not-as-Small, opening her front legs like before.

It was time for another trip. With surprise on their side, this time, they would regain their Shinies.

OOC @ Everyone: Sorry to be a total lack of fun right now, but I had to be hospitalized the other day for having such high blood pressure that I almost had a stroke and died. So, if 3 days pass from the last time I updated, then Books or Dragonhatchling (Books would update Magistream, Dragonhatchling would update Dragon Cave) will do the update for me. Also since I'm friends with them both on Facebook, they would know whether I was responsive or not within the last 24 hour period.

Waiting to do the update here, need Dragonhatchling's response first.

@Avialae: I totally forgot about that! But yes. The pros-check would totally affect it. Harden it? Extend its bark? I don't know, you can decide that one.

Avisk watched Kind act kind of odd. The gestures it was making were very strange, but almost familiar. Being angry scared the small creature for a moment, well, before it realized that was also part of whatever Kind was trying to do. Unsure seemed to take notice as well, and to show itself understood the small slime rattled the larger spines in a shaking motion similar to nodding. Except, the slime ended up lifting the front part of itself off the ground to get this motion. That was the best it could do.

Yet Avisk still wondered about Anrgy back in it's thoughts. The flames on its back spurted again to a small flame from each barb. Nothing else caught fire, as Avisk controlled them better this time. Thinking of the shinies being still not around bothered the small slime and it squirmed a little. Maybe Kind was having the same thoughts? After all, one of their shinies had not yet been taken. Maybe Kind was worried about that.

The small creature moved closer to Kind and a little past it, getting a better view of these strange actions. The flames went out as it moved, but the needles seemed to make a slight jingle-like noise as it walked from bumping together. If the slime was going to be quiet ever again it needed to find a way to somewhat fix that. These new harder and larger needles were great for protection, but also might compromise stealth if Angry did show up.

But, they also worked wonders for rattling, as the slime shook again to see if Kind was more eager to move. Maybe it could convey that it would follow Kind since Kind was acting odd like something was up.

Zeditha was pleased that Small seemed to understand, but then a tiny bit annoyed as Small walked past her. She dropped her outstretched feet to the ground and turned to look at what Small thought was so interesting.

Seeing nothing immediately - too much puffy in the way - she clacked twice and spread her feet again. Did Small even want to be carried? Perhaps not, but they needed to get to Angry before Angry went away.

OOC: Hope that you feel better, Viirin, and that you get your medical problems under control!

Aster tilted its head as its watched Big, trying to decipher its meaning from the other slime's wild gestures. The slime immediately understood the concept of threat when Big spread its wings wide to make itself look large, but it knew Big wasn't a threat, and neither was Small . . . that meant Big must have found one somewhere else, like Aster had thought earlier. Big seemed to be indicating a certain direction with its body a whole lot, too, so maybe the threat it had found was in that direction? Small seemed to think so, anyway. After making a lot of loud rattling, so much it lifted itself off the ground for a short while, it had started walking in the direction that Big seemed to want them to go in. Aster was glad for Small's assistance in this. Even if the slime didn't have a lot of physical strength, it could make the hot light, and it knew from experience that that could do a lot of damage.

Aster started to follow Small, but stopped after only a few steps. For some reason it was harder to walk now. Not a whole lot harder, but enough for it to be noticeable. The parts of its legs that bent didn't bend as easily any more. Aster tried bending the other parts of its body that bent, its neck and tail, and realized the same was true with them. Why had it suddenly become less flexible? After concentrating on how its body felt, Aster realized that the hard plant covering that it had currently grown to protect its soft slime innards had suddenly grown thicker, for some reason, without input from itself. Come to think of it, Small's spikes had just grown longer as well. Aster wasn't sure exactly when that had happened, since it had been focused on eating and Big's wild motions, but it knew Small hadn't had those big spines before the hot light had eaten everything. Well, maybe the changes were for the best for now. Aster wasn't really thrilled at the prospect of not being able to move as easily, but thicker skin might mean it might not be able to be pierced again, like Angry had before. And those long spines meant it would be more difficult to make Small Injured again. Thus decided, Aster began to walk in the same direction as Small again, making its stride short so it wouldn't outpace the short-legged slime by too much.

It was getting warmer as the slime went up, but now the same heat wasn't getting hotter.

The heat was changing. At first it was subtle, too subtle for the slime to notice, but soon enough it changed distinctly. The inorganic was crumbling around the slime, brushing against it and filling in behind it as it moved forward. The slime continued upward and followed the now fainter traces of good organic. As the slime began to notice the changes in the heat, it paused, letting the inorganic textures slip around it. After a moment it forged onward, halting when it got outside of the circle. There in the heat, the slime lingered, testing the ground and the air. There was warmth all around, but... not the same warmth the slime had experienced earlier, before it had gone into the circle. Somehow this heat was different, but not necessarily in a bad way. At least, it didn't irritate the slime. For the moment it was just... strange.

The slime could deal with strange. What it didn't like was the absence of organic. There were traces in the ground, leading away from the circle. Faint traces, indistinct and unrecognizable, but they were there. Shifting its mass over the crumbly textures of the dry ground, the slime ignored the strange heat changes and continued moving forward.

OOC @ Everyone: Okay, I'm not in and out of the hospital. Had allergic reaction to the medication the nurse practitioner gave me (doctor was on vacation. Neighbor was given something by same nurse, and she passed away a couple days later. I question everything any medical person says and research their orders myself, and got the ambulance to come a couple minutes after I took the med the first time. Blood pressure 200/130, which surprised the EMTs that I was still alive). Also, one of my neighbors is letting me borrow his extra air conditioner, so the heat/humidity isn't a factor anymore. No more dehydration!

Seriously, I want everyone to learn from my experiences and not go through what I do. I'll get the hard information, you just learn from it, eh? When I was a blacksmith at the Renaissance Faire, we had to use medieval healing techniques while faire was active. Drink a sip of dill pickle juice. If its sweet, it means you're dehydrated (has to do with the taste buds confusing salt for sugar due to your body losing too much water/salt via sweat) so drink water.

While we're at it, bananas are high in potassium which helps cramps and muscle pain, but also bananas make biting insects like mosquitoes more interested in biting you. Garlic is good for your heart and makes those same insects less likely to bite you. So you know how to heal yourself and counteract the negative.

@Zeditha & Avialae: I talked with Dragonhatchling. Something is happening soon smile.gif We're both confident it'll make it more fun.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

@Zeditha: Why was the slowest slime leading? Well, at least the other slimes seemed to understand what the slime wanted. The slime heard something loud overhead, approaching. It was the shiny strange-shaped bird thing that dropped the red before. But it kept going. It kept going, and didn't drop any more red stuff.

@Crell: (unlocked: cheetah skeleton) The slime's hunger increased as it grew, but as it was ravenously consuming organic as it did so, it wasn't noticeable. Almost totally counteracted. As the slime continued consuming more organic and filling itself adequately, its new sight allowed it to notice something else. It could have seen it before, but it just wasn't looking in the right direction, actually. There was something dark-colored on a flat area across the... what was the inside of this thing it was on called? Was it the thing's stomach? It still felt the thing move around, but it wasn't as severe now. Well, either way, something else was out of reach, but it was obviously organic. There was something that moved- the flat ground opened in a corner. As the movement happened again, this time a single quick jolt- wet came up from the flat-sided hole.

@Avisk: Unsure was now following the slime- all of the slimes were heading... wherever it was that the big slime wanted. Hopefully there was something yummy that way. It was still warm everywhere, but not uncomfortable. Maybe it would get uncomfortable if it didn't stop... The slime felt something. Being as low to the ground as it was, it was able to feel it better than the others probably could. In front of the slime, past the burned-up trees, was something that moved. The slime couldn't feel the vibrations well enough to tell more than that, but there was something moving. Moving probably meant organic...

@Aster: With the slime's excellent eyesight, it... didn't see anything of interest. It saw glowing brightness hidden in the black... used to be organic. Was it still? The slime had... it wasn't that important right now. Above, the sky wasn't black with dots anymore, but black and puffy. The puffy almost seemed to have a deep orange color hidden behind it, making the whole up close enough to the same color. It didn't look that much different from the pile that had to be run away from.

@Serket: The slime moved for a long time, feeling the heat in the ground, but not feeling heat from above it... what had changed? It wasn't like that when it first awoke. But that's what it was now. The slime eventually came to an organic piece of something, that was... not recognizable. But the slime didn't recognize most things because it had no basis for comparison. But the thing, whatever it was, was thin. Not as thin as other things it had found previously, but almost perfectly flat. The air moved against the slime, and the flat organic thing flopped against the slime annoyingly.

The reason that Aster wasn't walking ahead of Small, even though it was capable of walking faster than it, was because it didn't want to make itself a target for whatever Big had found. If Big's threat saw Aster running towards it alone, it would definitely attack Aster, but if it saw Aster with two other slimes, it would hopefully be slower to attack any one of them, or at least Aster. And Aster could attack it if it decided to go for one of the other slimes. And if Big wanted both Aster and Small's help to handle this threat, that meant Aster probably couldn't bring it down on its own.

Aster stared at the black puffy as it walked, since there wasn't much else to do. The sky was black like it had been before, but it was also bright somehow - the slime could see now, even though the puffy was blocking its vision. Did it have something to do with the orange behind the puffy? Was that the hot light? Was the hot light back? No - it was getting warmer, but the hot light had been much hotter than this when it was close to the slimes. Oh, there was that big loud animal again, passing by, too fast and too high to try to eat.

OOC: Yeah, you always have to make really sure you're taking the right medication, people can mess up at every step. I ended up in the hospital once because the guy at the pharmacy missed a decimal point, but only for a few hours and wasn't driven in an ambulance! I hope you're recovering well, and you don't have that nurse anymore.

And ooh, something happening! Yeah, our part of the RP could really use that biggrin.gif Hope we all get some unlocks from it!

((pssst Viirin Avisk can hear too smile.gif and yay for fixing meds!! I've ended up in the hospital myself for some medication i had for an infection and didnt leave for 3 days because it was completely mislabeled meds.... somebody at the store had put the wrong stuff in the bottle....))

Avisk wondered what the vibrations could be, and the distracting sound of the big red flying thing bothered it some. It wasn't dropping any more of that red stuff that had made its spines so big. And it was going away. To where? And much too fast to watch it more than a few seconds before the trees covered the small slime's view. The slight jingle of the spines had stopped now as it properly walked. Stealth was back. Good. Maybe the spines had just needed to lay properly on each other to not jingle as it walked.

Unsure and Kind were following along behind it. For once Avisk was leading and felt somewhat important now because of it. All Avisk ever wanted to do was help these two, and here it was that it now was somewhat helping. It had provided the two with food before, albeit that wasn't very sustaining. Maybe now it could find better food? Being close to the ground meant it was able to find grounded food better right?

But the moving in front of it caught the attention more. They were getting closer and closer as Avisk scurried along. The colors on its scales started to match the area around it, interwoven still between the harder and longer spines. It had forgotten it could do that. But this time that was not willing. That was whatever the scales were on its own. Odd. Usually Avisk could control the color. But the slime wandered forward more, soon coming upon Angry a bit further ahead.

Angry was asleep. The two shinies were nestled near it protectively. Avisk stopped, not wanting to wake Angry. It hoped the other two also noticed this. Was this what Kind wanted to show them? Maybe they could get the jump on Angry? The small slime backed up just slightly, a few small spurts of flame coming off the spines as a try to see if they too wondered if they could attack sleeping Angry. That would teach Angry to leave them alone and give their shinies back. Avisk badly wanted its own shiny again. Worse than before. The absolute need for that welled back up again inside it. The slime briefly wondered why before waiting to see if any of the other slimes had an idea on how to attack.

Avisk paused, looking at them, before wandering slightly ahead and stopping. It could wander quietly up to Angry and fire it. Angry didn't like fire. But Avisk didn't have any idea on how to convey that.

Walking alongside Small, Aster stopped and tensed up when it spotted an all too familiar form curled up on the ground in front of them both. The angry slime from earlier was here - and Aster was fairly sure that it was a slime now; it had seen Angry make hot light earlier, and something deep inside Aster told it that that was something that only slimes were able to do, despite the fact that it couldn't do so itself. Given the way their last encounter had ended, Aster would have expected Angry to attack the group of slimes again, but it didn't. It didn't move at all, in fact, even though several long seconds passed while the slimes stood there and Aster could spot the glint of the good shiny that it had stolen earlier, plus one other, a different colored one it hadn't noticed before (with everything that was happening, Aster didn't notice the pearl Zeditha made before now).

Now that Angry was seemingly unresponsive, Aster could get the good shiny back, and the new one as well! But Aster didn't just want to do that. Angry had put the slime in a whole lot of pain, and thinking of that made Aster want to put Angry in a whole lot of pain as well. Angry was so much stronger than Aster that it couldn't do that without risking a whole lot of danger to itself, but with it not reacting to the world around it for whatever reason, Aster had a unique opportunity to cause some damage before Angry could strike back. Its tail began to swish back and forth gently at the thought. But Angry was so much bigger than Aster even now, and it could move in the up. Even if Angry wasn't aware of the slimes around it now, once it woke up it could still outmaneuver Aster fairly easily once it did.

Aster then heard a loud spurt next to it and felt a short surge of heat, and looked next to it to see Small standing ahead to it. Aster had almost forgotten about the two other slimes it was with upon experiencing the rush of emotions upon seeing Angry again. Small could make hot light like Angry, Aster knew, except as Aster remembered, it could make even more of it, or so it had seemed. The hot light had eaten all of the tall organics so fast, for such a large area . . . if Small covered Angry with its hot light, that would have to hurt it pretty badly, maybe even to the point where it couldn't control its actions! Then it wouldn't be able to attack any of the slimes at all! But Small wasn't making any hot light right now. It was just staring at Angry instead. How did Aster communicate the idea for Small to generate hot light at Angry? The slime had no idea how to get across something so complex at first. Finally, after some thought, Aster picked up a small mouthful of the blackened organic the hot light had eaten, and then walked over to stand next to Small and dropped that mouthful on the ground. It chirped at Small to get its attention, then picked up another mouthful of blackened organic and spit it at Angry, gently so as to not disturb it. Aster hoped that Small would think of its own hot light when it saw the charred remnants of what the hot light that had eaten all the organic around flying towards Angry. Knowing that Small was likely not any more thrilled to attack Angry on its own than Aster was, the larger slime made a burbling sound deep in its throat that it hoped sounded reassuring, trying to convey to Small that it didn't intend to abandon the other slime. Aster didn't move yet, though, wanting to be sure Small was actually going to do something before making a move itself. If Small ended up deciding not to attack Aster would be in a lot of danger, after all.

Zeditha was happy that the slimes had found Angry. She spotted Runner un-eating some crackled wood at Angry and looking expectantly at Small, and purred quietly. She walked up, clacked once to get their attention, and then tried doing some motions.

She looked first at Small, and copied the crackle-spitting move.

Then she looked at Runner. She made a running movement with her forepaws, then pointed to one side of Angry. Then she pointed at herself, and made similar motions to the other side of Angry. Then she indicated Small, and the Crackled wood, and then an attacking motion in Angry's direction.

She looked curiously at the two slimes, wondering if they got it.

((Small will go up to Angry and flame it. Zeditha and Runner will sneak around opposite sides of Angry, wait until Small flames, and then attack. Just letting you know what Zeditha's plan actually is in case it wasn't very clear xd.png))

So they both understood. Somehow the slimes understood Avisk's thoughts. Or actions. Either one. Both slimes seemed to want Avisk to flame Angry, even Avisk wanted to flame Angry. Right in Angry's face. Right like last time. But far far worse this time. Far worse.

But the absolute want for its original shiny also fueled this desire to harm Angry. Back in its thoughts, the small slime also knew Unsure still badly wanted the exact same shiny. Somehow Avisk was going to have to find a way to gain control over that much wanted shiny before Unsure did. Maybe in the chaos that would ensue if the flaming of Angry didn't kill the larger slime. Avisk supposed it could always fight off Unsure by flaming it too. But Unsure was helpful. No. Though, there was no sharing of this shiny.

The small slime wandered forward silently. Carefully. Moving deliberately and choosing proper places to walk as it got right into Angry's face. It could feel breathing and slight movement on itself, as well as in the ground. Size comparison to the two slimes made Avisk seem like a small ball instead of some terrifying slime creature. It turned, spines quietly raising into their protective positions to make Avisk seem even more spined and not appetizing. The small creature concentrated, welling up the desire for its original shiny and the anger it felt for Angry for hurting the other slimes. An eruption of flames shot forth, flaring and seeming to completely take over Avisk itself before going steady and sustaining damage to Angry. That should hurt terribly. Hopefully. It would also absolutely wake Angry up. Maybe it would kill Angry. And luckly, yet purposefully, for Avisk, the coveted shiny it and Unsure fought over was very close by to Avisk itself.

To not be eaten, the small creature moved closer to that shiny protectively, keeping the flames sustained in case Angry wanted to attack it.

Zeditha noticed Small moving forwards, gave Runner one last quick look, and dashed off towards Angry. She wanted to be ready to retrieve her Shiny and attack when Small flamed Angry. She didn't have much time and so she didn't bother to disguise the sound of her running. She cracked a small twig on the way but continued on, barely noticing the disturbance. By the time she reached Angry and the Shinies, Small was just preparing to flame Angry. She prepared to un-eat nasty yellow (and venom cheese) at Angry, and readied her claws for a fight. As soon as the flames erupted from Small, she released as much of the stuff as her empty stomach would allow, dodged Small as it ran to one of the Shinies, and dug into Angry with every attack she could conjure. She tried to bite it as much as possible - she was hungry, after all.

((Zeditha is on the side of Angry with Small and the Shinies, but is currently ignoring both in favour of attacking Angry. She's angry at it taking her Shiny, she's scared of it injuring her again, and she wante to eat it to reduce her hunger. Just getting the Shiny back isn't a priority anymore...))

Aster watched as Small slowly moved forwards and walked up onto the sleeping Angry. Big had seemed to understand what Aster had meant with its actions, at least as far as the slime could tell, but it was less sure about Small. But it was definitely planning on doing something to Angry, and the antagonistic slime hadn't woken up yet, even with Small walking on it. It then heard a rustling noise as Big started taking off towards Angry, its hostile intentions clear. There was no more time to wait and find out what Small was going to do to Angry. If Aster wanted to be able to act before the other slimes woke Angry up, it was going to have to do so now.

Fortunately, Aster had already spotted what part of Angry it wanted to attack. Only shortly after it had first spotted Angry, it had seen the tip of its back end sticking out of its curled up body - the same back end that had hurt Aster so badly before. It would be much better for Aster, and the other slimes as well, if Angry didn't have that anymore. So Aster was going to see to it that it no longer did. Aster ran up to Angry's exposed back end, took a small piece of it a small distance away from the sharp-looking tip in its mouth, and bit down hard, trying to sever it from the rest of the slime. It went well at first, but then Aster ran into something hard in the middle, preventing it from breaking the piece of flesh off completely. Aster tried to increase the pressure of its bite, and shoved Angry's tail into the back of its mouth where jaws were thicker, yanking its neck back in order to try to jerk the piece loose. Aster felt the hard part start to give but it wasn't all the way there yet. Aster began to feel the painful sensation from before flood its mouth as the burning liquid it had hurt Angry with before was summoned forth again - but this time the purpose was slightly different. Instead of being sprayed out of its mouth from a distance the liquid was mixing into the parts of Angry Aster had already cut open with its teeth, in order to help it come apart faster. Aster kept on biting as the slime hoped it was able to completely sever the tip of Angry's tail before the slime attacked it.

Meanwhile, the other two slimes had actively started unleashing their own offensives on Angry. Small was breathing fire right into its face, which was good, and Big was ripping at its flesh seemingly indiscriminately after seemingly spitting up a bunch of the orange stuff onto Angry that Aster had seen it make before, which was also good but . . . Aster just hoped that Angry's wings hadn't healed fully yet, that was all. It had hoped that one of the other slimes would attack its wings again and prevent Angry from taking to the air, where two of the three slimes couldn't reach it. Aster remembered that it had managed to badly injure one of Angry's wings last time, something it took pride in, but if Small's improvement since last night was anything to judge by, Angry might have fully recovered from that injury by now, too. Aster couldn't see enough of Angry's wings to judge if they might be operational or not, so it would just have to see if it couldn't do some more damage to Angry's wings after it had gotten its tail off.

OOC: I honestly feel kinda bad for the Boss right now . . . Yeah, before it was attacking us and stole our hoards, but right now it's not bothering anybody and here are our slimes sneaking up on it and preparing to attack and perhaps kill it for revenge and stress relief . . . yeah, we're all dumb animals right now, but still.
