Have you ever played 2048?

It is a puzzle game you can play online on http://gabrielecirulli.github.io/2048/

 

Using the arrows you move all squares together left, right, up or down. When two squares with the same number hit they sum and one of them disappears. To win you must reach number 2048, but it is almost impossible!

 

My personal record is 512 as highest square and 7184 as best total score.

I tried that in my phone and My high scores is two 512s(not 1024) and 6561 point.

Ah yes. I've been playing it constantly since I discovered it a few days ago. Can't seem to beat the score I got the first time I tried it of around 6000 and 512 as the highest tile. LOL.

Oh, I found it today ((or yesterday)) and got hooked. Except it's the Puzzle and Dragons version, because staring at numbers is a pain.

 

My personal high score is... Urm... 14292.

I've played it a couple times; not obsessively but it's fun for a couple of minutes. I didn't pay attention to my scores though, but they were definitely less than those of yours. Probably would help if I played games with a strategy other than spastically clicking.

I love this game right now. My current highest tile is 512, though usually I only get to the 128 tile each round.

Psssh clearly doge2048(.com, check it out - possible epilepsy warning though?) is superior.

 

It's another time waster basically. Some people like them and some find them annoying/boring/pointless/whatever. I play the doge one because it's hilarious. But fun fact: ~*no one is superior to anyone else because of a difference in opinion*~

I beat it yesterday!! High score 28652 (I continued a bit after getting 2048 but didn't get any farther than another 512 tile). Use the Mancini technique. WORKS

 

 

Edit: tl;dr version of the Mancini technique is to move side to side & collapse upward, accumulating the higher numbered tiles at the top. Never move down for any reason. Unless there are no other possible moves.

This. I played this way to much lately. I made it to 8192 while still having a 4096 and a 2048. I know I played this way too much

Oh boy, I'm totally ADDICTED to this game - my personal best is a 8192 and a 2048, but my board always seems to get crammed when I try to move further -- this game can be a real jerk, and it's all about your luck sometimes - I guess that's why it's so addictive?

Revisited this game around last holiday event. I finally was able to make 2048.
