Posted June 4, 2014 OK, I finished it a while ago, although it's one of the better shows of 2013, I was pretty let-down by the actual plot of the series. Sure, it was good with action and the craziness, but lacked character depth and, really, clothes taking over the world? Gurren Lagann, which had a similar feeling and, well, was made by the same authors, had more likeable characters and more pathos, so yeah, Kill la Kill was alright, but somewhat lacking in comparison to other shows of massive scale and setting.
