Posted March 16, 2014 (edited) This week's theme is abandoned! I know there's a lot of things that could be abandoned, but in this case, I'm talking about objects or places. Examples could be abandoned amusement parks, old buildings, boats, towns, bridges.. so on, so on! Sorry for the late start up, by the way. :c The Rules: - One entry per person - Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra. - No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, colour balance, lighting, etc.) - No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo. - When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness. - You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition. Posted March 17, 2014 Argh, if I had known this was going to be the topic then I might have actually submitted something this time! I was at my family's house near the end of the Spring Break and there's so many abandoned shacks and barns around that would make great pictures. Also a few interesting old trucks abandoned in the cow pasture, getting overgrown with flora... As if I have a good camera. But I'm not there any more; back on campus. Oh well. Posted March 18, 2014 This might be a bit of a stretch, but would a bicycle count? I found this old bicycle in the woods behind my house some time ago, it's all rusted and must be pretty old. It's in the same state it was when I found it, I haven't fixed it up or anything. Would that count as "abandoned"? Share this post Link to post

Posted March 19, 2014 On the Toronto Islands, there used to be large houses. Over the years, as the Islands became more parkland than residential, the houses were torn down. Some of the walls and steps remain. Island home. Share this post Link to post
