Brute Dragon Breeding Plans

The Fevers got their thread but nothing for the Brutes yet. So here we go! What are you thinking of breeding yours with?

 

I think I like these pairings, but I'm only completely sure about the Sweetling:

I'm usually a fan of purebreds, but I gotta say that they do look pretty good with Marrows.

I like them with darker dragons. So far, the only examples are pastels. So far, all I have tested is greenwings and I really like them:

I like them in quite a few pairs (both genders unless otherwise specified). Something about them with the Blusang or male Moonstone seems really lovely to me. I think it's that red and blue compliment each other nicely if the shades are right, blue and purple go quite well, and then in the case of the Blusang, their creamy base is pretty neutral.

I really love the Brutes~ I think there's a lot of potential for mixing and matching x3

Maybe Dragonhorse, possibly Hellhorse in a stair step/spiral. Definitely Bleeding Moon and Ember. Such an awesome, aggressive dragon needs a beast to match.

Though Moonstone has a certain "yin/yang" appeal.

Royal Crimsons. I'm positive it will look good because Royal Crimsons look good with EVERYTHING.

 

And Daydreams (my default pairing, as many of you may have noticed I breed those with everything ever ). They probably aren't objectively quite as versatile as RC's, but in my view they also go with everything :3

They look so great on their own that I have difficulties finding other breeds that don't get smothered by the Brute's awesomeness but i was thinking of Royal Blue and Brimstones as they have a similar level of details.

So far, from what I´ve seen, I like them with Speckle-Throats, Royal Blues, female Hellfires, and Brimstones. I´m not really totally sold on any yet, though. I always want to see how they actually match up in their lineage views.

I seemed to have rubbed off on you Dimar . I'm thinking doing an ulternating checker with these prettys and the flamingos.

 

Also thinking of pairing them with Royal Crimsons and Brimstones, just not in the same lineage.

I think they look quite gorgeous with Royal Crimsons and Hellfires. Maybe Hellhorses too, going with the whole 'aggressive nature' theme. I also like the Black Teas and Brimstone pairing, and the Red Nebulas sound gorgeous with them.

 

Something about their colors suggest that they'd go well with Fall Seasonals, but I don't know whether they would conflict too much in poses and everything. And has anybody tried them with Dorsals yet? They do look like they'd go well with Dorsals.

I tested some pairings with the two new dragons here and I really love the Brutes with male Tan Ridgewings, female Hellfires and male Marrows.

 

The very best pairing is of course impossible (at least as a 2nd gen):

I reallllyyyy want to breed them with Marrows, but unfortunately I have no CBs of those. ;_; But I also think they'd look cool with Hellhorses, Nocturnes, Electrics, Turpentines, Shadow Walkers, Graves, and Embers. C:

matched with the Hellhorse or Alt black would look pretty awesome. Also would look interesting is mating them with the ember dragons, especially as they both have similar body plans. To bad two headed dragons can't breed with one headed, and they would look cool with the Duotone and the Gilded Bloodscale.
