Everyone, has a soulmate.

This is someone's "forever love." The one person whose soul fits into their's, like the pieces of the Yin and Yang. A soulmate, can be anyone. Fate has a funny way of working, and when it's meant to be, it's meant to be. Now, few people ever actually find their soulmate. They think they do, but in truth, most of the time it is someone who only matches "standards". Few people actually know that someone out there is made for them. Knowing this, can also drive someone mad. It can take thousands of years for them to finally meet. Through these years, they are unknowingly to themselves, reborn (excluding immortals).

A soulmate, can be anyone for anyone. Love is love.

With good reason, she is quite a dark person. With kids however, she transforms into a light hearted person. With a maternal instinct of a mother wolf, this girl will protect any child in need, even if it means giving up her life.

History: Raven was made in a lab. Genetically modified, she's one of the crowning achievements of science. However, she was a prisoner, treated like nothing more than a lab rat. She managed to escape. With this, she has been hunted down since. A few times, she has been caught. Though she manages to escape again and again. The most recent time she'd been captured, they had the bright idea of grafting wings in her. She has learned to summon and dismiss the wings at will, proving to be helpful in certain situations.

Second Form (If Available)-

Crush/Lover/Partner/Mate:None, yet. She does have a bad streak in her though...

Other:

Username: pudding

Character Name: Pyre

Gender: Male

Age: 400 or so years

Species: Dragon

Powers/Abilities:

~Pyre can shoot large blasts of fire from his mouth.

~Pyre can shape shift into a human-like form.

Appearance:

Pyre is a red dragon only slightly larger than a full-grown horse in stature. He has four legs and a long, scaly tail, as well as a pair of leathery wings that can be used for flight when he gets off his lazy butt and moves. The underside of his body is paler than his back and four, slightly curved horns sprout from the back of his head. He has large, thin ears that are able to rotate to better hear anything or anyone trying to steal his stuff.

Personality: Pyre is lazy, selfish, greedy and incredibly full of himself. However, he can be reasoned with, especially if seasoned with compliments and flattery first. His temper usually gets the better of him, completely overpowering his common sense in favor of blasting fire left and right. He usually keeps to himself and simply lounges about for long periods of time.

History:

Pyre was the runt of his brothers and sisters and always had problems maintaining territory and hoarding treasures. Bigger, stronger dragons would always steal his shiny things and leave him battered and bruised to go find a new collection. But as humans grew, his smaller size became an advantage. He found ways to disguise himself and pilfer their belongings without making as much of a fuss as, say, burning down a village and making off with their maidens. A watch there, a few coins there. Having amassed quite a fortunate now, he sticks to himself and simply lays on his pile of treasure.

Second Form (If Available)- Pyre maintains his wings and tail, as well as several patches of scales (around the shoulders and back. None on the stomach.) His horns and claws end up much more stub-like than in his dragon form and are easily hidden under masses of messy, dark hair. His teeth are still sharp in this form and he can still breathe fire, though much smaller amounts and with some difficulty. Since this form isn't that common for him, he isn't the most graceful creature and tends to flop about a lot and hurt himself tripping over things.

Crush/Lover/Partner/Mate: [Open]

Other: He is easily distracted by shiny objects.

Username: Techno_Elf

Character Name: Adrian Sakkharine

Gender: Male

Age: 20

Species: Wraith Knight

Powers/Abilities: He can make his rage manifest in blue or white flames, which then either shroud him in a protective shield, or get shaped into spears and shot at people. Sometimes, if he's really feeling up to it, they'll be strong enough to pierce cleanly through concrete.

Appearance: He has shoulder-length, wavy black hair and gold eyes. He's pale, and would be considered good-looking were it not for the frightening dark shadows under his eyes. He's slender and gangly, and very tall.

Personality: Angsty, depressed, and moody, he's pretty much the complete emo stereotype. But with an anger management problem. He can't control his rage, and he's actually much, much stronger than he looks. He doesn't talk to anyone besides, well, himself, and he will often be seen as coldhearted and mean. He gives out trust very rarely, and nice words even less. He holds grudges for an amazingly long time, and sometimes he'll bring up old feuds that happened years ago. He's very, very irritable all of the time, and he'll snap at anyone. It would be advised to leave him alone when he's in a particularly bad mood, and he likes his time alone.

History: Ever since he was little, his older brother always got more attention than him. In every aspect. It was always James this, James that, "James got an A+", "James got a homerun", "Why can't you be more like James?", and it drove him crazy, and he gained the ability to manifest his rage in flames and turn into his Second Form when he finally snapped. He started talking less and less, and just concentrated on his guitar and drum set. If there was one thing James Christopher Sakkharine couldn't do, it was music. James was a terrible singer, and had even less musical sense. So Adrian escaped through music. He would practice a song for months on end, perfecting it. Finally, he decided to move into an apartment. It wasn't too big, but it was cozy and a place where he wouldn't be bothered by his family.

Second Form- He has blood red eyes instead of his normal gold. There are marks underneath his eyes that look like he cried with eyeliner on, and they reach straight to his cheekbones, where they then taper off into a point. He has a set of deer antlers protruding from his hair, and his two canines are sharp and stick out of his mouth when he closes it, like a vampire's.

Crush/Lover/Partner/Mate:

Other: He can also phase through objects (and people), teleport, and fly a little.

Username: mipuppy1 (I go by Maria as well)

Character Name: Rosalie

Gender: Female

Age: 18

Species: Unicorn

Powers/Abilities: Zoolingualism, Animal Manipulation, Telepathy, Empathy, Plant Manipulation, Healing,

Appearance: Rosalie has long, wavy, light, blonde hair and big, light, blue eyes. She is short, small and looks delicate for someone her age, and her curves aren't protruding. (A.k.a, she's on the small/flat side a bit.) Her skin is light, porcelain and Rosalie always seems to have a smile pasted on her face, she walks with a bit of a bounce or small skip.

Personality: A little shy and weary at first, Rosalie is one of those girls who is always happy and smiling. The kind on girl who wants to be friends with anyone and everyone. Bubbly and cheerful she's the naïve and gullible type of girl who loves everyone, sees good in everyone, and is very quick to forgive. She's clumsy and sickly but has a strong will and is pretty stubborn. She loves/is obsessed with plants/nature and animals, and seems to always be surrounds by them.

History: Rosalie grew up in a beautiful forest that was unspoiled by human hands and seemed straight out if a fairytale. The runt of the group of foals she grew up with, she was never big enough, never fast enough, never strong enough, never good enough. While taking a nap by a sparkling steam one beautiful day because she wasn't fast enough to go play with the other foals, humans came and killed her herd. Now running for her life, she has come to the city/wherever all the other characters are.

Second Form (If Available)- The second one.

Crush/Lover/Partner/Mate:

Other:

Username: JaylaCaine

Character Name: Xavier Slaine

Gender: Male

Age: Unknown but looks to be mid to late twenties

Species: Leopard Lord

Powers/Abilities: Ability to become a leopard at will, enhanced senses, and great judge of character

Appearance: Xavier is pale looking to be of Russian descent. With Ice blue eyes that change with his mood or how close the leopard is to coming out. He has a fondness for wild colored hair and so it is currently purple and reaches to mid back. Unlike most he prefers to keep his hair loose instead of braiding it or tying it back. He prefers an older style of clothing preferring them to what is worn today to the point he has been known to walk around in leather pants but victorian lace shirts. However at all times he is seen with a necklace with a red drop.

Personality: Xavier is the very definition of a Leopard Lord. Being able to stay in one position for hours on end just observing what goes on and seeming to become invisible. Then to leap into the attack with a rage rarely seen. At other times he is as kind as a house cat letting little ones climb up into his lap, pull his hair, and demand answers to endless amount of questions without losing his temper once.

History: Xavier was a older twin and the oldest child of six. As such he was always very protective of his younger siblings. Then while all of them were in leopard form a poacher found them. As he tried to save his siblings his mother was shot, and he was hit to the side hitting his head on a rock. Once he was awake he found all of his family gone and him still in leopard form now in a cage. Soon he was forced to live as a pet for a young boy. At age ten he was discovered in human form by the boy's parents and was soon treated as a second son to the family. Growing up with them he was soon somewhat civilized even if he did prefer his time more as an animal. Now that he is grown he lives in a house of his own connected to the park.

Second Form (If Available)- When he shifts form he goes from human into that of a snow leopard. The only way to tell it is him is the crystal blue eyes. In this form he has a visible scar on the back of his head from where he hit the rock.

Crush/Lover/Partner/Mate: Crush on Elsa

Other: He has a fondness for cute animals mostly kittens but has been known to pet any baby animal as long as it has fur or feathers. Anything else he would rather play with it in animal form and with claws.

((Sure thing.))

Raven stole a quick glance behind her. She couldn't shake the feeling that someone was watching her. Silently bristling under the watchful gaze, she pulled the hood over to hide her face, then stuck her hands in the pocket in her hoodie pocket.

((I'll intro Rain later.))

Humans. How loud and insufferably stupid they all were. The dragon's claws carefully sorted through various shiny objects in the dark room. There was a man on the floor nearby that had been burnt to death. Of course, humans were good for one thing. Claws could never create such shiny trinkets. How he missed the days in which humans only used gold and silver for currency. Now it was all paper money. Disgusting. He shook his head, knocking over several things in the process then picked up his prize in his mouth and started towards the balcony. He had what he came for and could return to his cave to sleep with his new addition to his vast collection.

"Come along, darling, you're almost there."

The fluffy swan duckling tickled Elsa's fingers. The swan maiden was kneeled down by a small pond. Cattails and reeds shot out of the water beside her and small bouts of algae clung to the lily pads that floated on the water's surface. The pale woman slowly brought her cupped hands down towards the water. The small duckling in her hands flapped its wings as it neared the water. A smile crept on Elsa's lips as she saw the once injured wing of the bird was now fully functional.

Three weeks of nurturing the poor thing back to help seemed to of helped.

Cool water rushed over Elsa's hands as she set the duckling in the water. At first, the duckling stayed in her palms, letting itself sit quietly in her palm. But just in a few seconds, the duckling began to test out the water. It craned its neck and dipped its black beak into the water, spurting as it recoiled. It tested its webbed feet against the current. Slowly, the duckling moved forward. It's white wings clung it its side as it propelled itself forward. It's feet dug into the water, curled back up, pushed forward, and dug back into the water once again. Elsa stood up and let out a happy sigh as she saw the duckling paddle around the pond happily. Joy began to spread through the duckling's face as it made its way through the pond. It began ducking its head underwater, shaking its neck when it resurfaced. Elsa couldn't help but feel motherly pride as she saw the duckling enjoying itself. How could she not? She had found the poor thing helplessly floundering in the mud during a rainy day. The poor thing nearly died of hypothermia! Feeling as though she had a right to take care of it, Elsa had began nursing the baby back to health. She had no idea where the thing's mother was, nor how it got abandoned in the mud with a broken wing. Her guess was that poachers or hunters had gotten the mother, leaving the babies to fend for themselves. The duckling couldn't survive without its mother and was close to death when Elsa found it. Maybe it was smarter than normal swans or maybe it was a maiden just like her. Either way, the duckling seemed to have registered Elsa as it's new caretaker and even learned to tell the difference between her human and swan form. The little thing knew it was her no matter what form she was in and it seemed to stick with her no matter how she looked. Grinning, Elsa sat back down on her knees and watched as her duckling played in the water. Her blue and white gown was getting dirty, but she paid no heed to it. She was completely focused on drowning herself in the cheerful eyes of her little duckling.

(By the way, will soulmates randomly be selected or will people just be with characters they take a liking to?)

The precious, shiny statue was transfered to his claws as the dragon managed to worm himself onto the balcony. He turned and opened his mouth, causing the room to be filled with flames. That would keep the humans busy and erase the evidence that he had been there. His large, red wings opened and the dragon quickly launched into the air, leaving the place to burn. He flew quickly towards the hills nearby. Not a mountain but it was as good as he was going to get.

((I'm just going to say it's about noon-ish for the sake of this post.))

Dante yawned as he sipped his French Vanilla coffee. Licking the foam from around his lips, he tipped his sunglasses down to get a better view of a blonde across the street. She wore a sexy black dress with fishnet leggings, a small beige overcoat, and showed just enough cleavage so she didn't come off as a tramp. Dante smirked as the woman made eye-contact with him. As he winked, she turned her head smiling, as if wanting more of this impersonal flirtation. He adjusted his tie as he stood up and tucked in his chair. Dante brushed his smooth spiked hair back as the lady got closer. He could practically smell her perfume from across the sidewalk. He crossed the sidewalk and smiled as they finally met face-to-face.

"Have any plans for dinner tonight gorgeous?" he asked nonchalantly.

"I was planning on going to that new club downtown, but I'm sure I can make and exception for you, sweetheart".

Dante pulled a business card from out of nowhere and tucked it in between her bosoms. He swiftly turned to his left and pulled out a cigar from his cigar case and lit it, just as fast. Dante continued on his adventure in the city, stumbling across a nature path not too far from the cafe he was at prior.

"A little fresh meat air never hurt anyone".

His eyes flashed vibrant yellow, and large canine teeth grew from his mouth. The song "Welcome to the Jungle" began playing in his head as sweaty, attractive joggers passed him.

Raven sighed, slipping into an ally, she shifted. It wasn't until after she noticed a ragged man, leaning against the wall. His eyes were wide in surprise.

Let this be out little secret?

The man smiled slowly, revealing a gap-toothed grin. He winked and nodded. "You got it, girly." She returned his smile with a warm one of her own.

Thanks, I'll be sure to give you a little gift of gratitude. I also have a place for you to live if you need it.

The elderly man rose to his feet slowly. He began to dance. It was rigid and stiff due to his old joints, but he laughed and yipped. "Thank you, thank you..."

Not a problem. I'll show you to it later.

Winking, she emerged from the alley. The city had stray dogs. Although she was larger than a dog, and even a normal wolf (the size of a dire wolf), she most often could get away with wandering around in her preferred form. Humans never seemed to look twice anymore. Strolling down the street, she paused, raising her nose to the air. The stench of cigar filled her nares, and she winced. Across the street from her, was a man and a woman. The man had slipped something into the woman's bosom, and had lit the foul smelling tobacco product. Observing silently, she watched him begin to change. What the hell is that? Something she had not seen before, at least, not in person. At one point, she had wandered into an old library, and found many old books. These were from around the Dark Ages. Having nothing better to do, she read the books. Raven learned that there had been people, who could see these strange creatures, called Hexenbeasts. Grimms... As she recalled more of the subject, she tilted her head. Am I part Grimm? The DNA she'd been used to be created with, had come from anonymous donors. She could have any blood running through her human side. That or he's showing off...

After about twenty minutes or so, Elsa's little duckling grew tired of swimming alone and paddled its way back over to her. The white duckling shook its tail feather as it made its way towards her. Elsa almost giggled at how sloppily it swam. It kept swerving to the left and right like a maniac. It was just absolutely adorable. As the little duckling came closer, Elsa hand out her hands to cup the duckling in her palms. However, just as she was about to pick it up, the duckling swam away. Puzzled, Elsa pulled back her hands to see duckling swim back again. Once more, she tried to pick it up, but, yet again, it swam away.

"Oh," Elsa cooed, lowering her hands. "I see what you're getting at. You want me to come in there with you, don't you?" The duckling didn't reply, but Elsa knew what it wanted. Stepping into the water, Elsa felt feathers poke out of her skin. Her dress slimmed down to her sides and her skin began to be covered in pure white feathers. Her face narrowed down and a beak replaced her nose and mouth. Her arms turned into wings and her feet switched into talons. Now pushing her way into the pond, Elsa, now in the form of a swan, swam forward. Her duckling followed her lead, doing its best to keep up the larger swan. Elsa glanced back at the duckling and gave a mental grin as she saw the gray duckling try to keep up with her.

Come on, darling, you can do it! Kick those feet of yours!

Turning her head back forwards, Elsa swam further into the pond. Her mind was at peace and her heart was content with the knowledge that her duckling was right behind her. Life, at the moment, was just blissfully wonderful.

The dragon landed over the hills, giving his head a shake after he had touched down. Another treasure for his pile. He placed the statue back inside his mouth and dragged it over to a large bolder nearby. Using his weight, he pushed the bolder aside then slithered inside of the cave that had been hidden behind it. Inside the barely lit hole was a massive pile of gold and other shiny objects. He placed the statue down by the front then slithered onto the pile and rolled around on it. Shiny things were the best. He loved them so much.

Rain lounged in the sun. She was laying on the soft grass, enjoying the warmth. Although it was an odd sight. The girl was on her stomach, and her dark colored wings were spread out. At the sounds of shifting rocks, she raised her head, squinting against the sun's light. Rising to her feet, she retracted her wings, and looked around. Rain cast her senses out, picking up on life force of the creatures around her. A rather large force caught her attention, and she turned her head to the direction it came from. She spread her wings, and with a downward thrust, moved upwards. It took a few flaps to get further up, but eventually, she was hovering above the tranquil meadow. Closer to the mountains, she sensed the life force, yet did not see it. She banked a right, heading closer to it. There's a cave there, it must be from there. Rain went into a dive, then pulled up at the last few moments, and landed softly outside the cave with only a small woosh of her wings.

The sound of gold moving around was all Pyre heard as he sprawled out amongst his could. Ah, he was going to have to expand his cave soon. It was practically filled with gold. Why couldn't he just get a nice castle? Ah, the days when dragons had castles. So much better.

Rain approached slowly, and cautiously. Such a large creature could be quite dangerous. She poked her head around the boulder, peering into the dark. The sounds of metal against each other was the first thing to reach her ears.

Eventually, Pyre settled down, laying down on his back amongst the gold. Sleep time. The dragon rested his red head back, his tail lazily coiling around several trinkets. Hopefully everything would have the common sense not to disturb his slumber. Dragons were rather touchy creatures in the morning.

Rain's eyes eventually adjusted. She was surprised by what she saw. A slumbering dragon filled her vision.

Hello? She whispered-mind spoke into the dragon's thoughts.

Pyre was not one to easily dismiss strange voices within his head. The dragon quickly rolled onto his stomach and breathed fire all about the cave, his greedy eyes darting about to make sure none of his treasure had been displaced. "Who is there?" He asked, only then realizing he probably should have asked questions first and waited on the fire. Oh well. They were probably dead already.

Rosalie galloped though the forest. She was almost there, soon, she would be a human and would never turn back. There was nothing left for her back at her home anymore. She was all alone in this world, all she could do now was survival. Sharp ragged breaths escaped her lungs, as her pounding hooves slowed to a stop. This was a good place to take a break. It was a small pond that she stopped at. Purple lillies pads floated on the still pond save for a white swan and a little duckling following her, swimming around adorably. The unicorn slowly trotted up to the birds, gently nickering to show she was friendly and flickering her ears before lowering her head and lapping at the water.

Rain spouted off a few curses as she narrowly escaped being singed. Well, mostly. A few feathers of here's had been burnt. Even the slightest of a missing feather could throw off one's flight. "Hey, friendly here." She called, keeping her back pressed against the large boulder, of which suppressed part of the opening. When the dragon had breathed it's fire, it had forced the fire through the small opening. Carefully, she once more poked her head around.

Easy, I'm not going to harm you, or take anything from you.

Based on her little knowledge of dragons, all she knew was that-

1. They could breath fire, or ice.

2. They had hoardes of shiny/ valuable objects, of which they were highly protective of.

"If you have not come to steal, why have you come at all?" Pyre purred in response, not moving from his perch on top of the gold. He had a much better vantage point and could more easily see if someone or something was trying to make off with what was now his. "I suggest you speak the truth or the next thing that comes out of my mouth will not be words."

Elsa craned up her neck as what seemed to be a white horse nickered at her softly. Her duckling came hurrying over towards Elsa, but she hadn't noticed. She was staring at the horn of the horse. A unicorn? Goodness, she hadn't seen one in forever. Wagging her tail feather, Elsa gave a dip of her head to the unicorn. It was lovely to see humanity hadn't wiped all of them out. It was such a shame to see such a majestic species to dwindle from a one of the most desired beings in the world into mere myths and legends. Such a beautiful beast was hard to find, even more so now and days with the low amount of them and the large amount of people who would want to exploit them.

Just another ugly truth.

For a moment, Elsa felt the urge to talk to this individual. But, after a moment's thought, she turned against it. Unicorns weren't known for talking. This creature wasn't like her, it couldn't change forms. Besides, if the unicorn did want to communicate, it would do so itself. After all, unicorns were known for their different ways of communicating.

A smile crossed her face. "It has indeed been a few centuries since I've seen a dragon. And I see they are still seeming to always be in a foul mood." She pulled a small stone from her pocket. Yet it wasn't actually a stone, but rather a large crystal that had had a small enchantment on it to make it portable. "Might we chat a bit?"

Pyre did stop as his eyes saw the stone. The dragon snorted loudly but held his fire at bay. "Depends what the nature of our talk may be," he replied, his eyes not leaving the stone. "Speak quickly for my patience is short." He drummed his claws on the gold, trying to keep his temper in check.
