Sepisc snorted as the Soulpeace announced that she was scared. I think we all noticed... He snorted again, this time sounding annoyed as Lady tried to make herself taller and fell trying. Little runt coming out here just to annoy. If she doesn't go away soon, I swear... "If you're scared, consider LEAVING," he snarled. "I am not in a good mood, and unless you have a desire to experience some powerful healing magic, you will GET LOST. Mind you, if it's healing magic you want, I can help with that. But if, say, something were to go terribly wrong and you died, don't blame it one me!" Sepisc honestly hoped the hatchling sitting in front of him would get the hint that he didn't want company. While he wouldn't really do the things he said he would, he was willing to do some pretty nasty things at the moment.

Lady blinked. "I won't leave. I won't bother you either." Sh stood off to the side of him like a shadow. If anything, being a shadow for any big dragon seemed like a good idea. She didn't care if he threatened her, nor did she care if he hated her. She was still frightened and would rather be a small unnoticeable thing. "You can talk to yourself and I won't say anything." The Soulpeace hatchling vowed. She crouched down close to the ground and was instantly gone. The tall grass hid her from sight. May be she could use tall things to hide in. Or if she started her tactician rank/job, she can help those she guided hide in tall things to create a surprise attack. She instantly liked being around Sepisc. Mainly because she thought she could come up with better ideas.

Sepisc hissed in annoyance. He had never met a dragon as irritating as this Soulpeace. She looked incredibly young, so it was natural that she wasn't concerned about the war, but certainly, her parents had eduacated her about Lotus... What kind of parent wouldn't? Their child was living in a warzone where there was a new battle every day. Those who chose to remain peaceful were killed for treason. If a hatchling knew nothing about the war, certainly they would die. "We'll see about how you won't bother me, because you're failing already. If you talk, you're bothering me. If you claim things about me that aren't true you're bothering me. If you stay withing a two mile radius of me you're bothering me. You have failed all three conditions."

Lady sighed. "Being abandoned by my parents is enough already. Please don't leave me." The soulpeace's head just barely showed over the tall grass. She looked at him with naive gentle eyes. She was still young. She had no idea what was going on, who was involved and what the past was. She hoped maybe the white dragon could teach her. Perhaps the she would be educated enough to know a few things. She ducked her head back in the grass and seemed to be completely gone. She didn't make a sound, didn't make an appearance or even moved. It was as though she was never there. The hatchling decided to keep it that way while she followed him around like a faithful pet. Maybe then she would learn.

Then your parents were dumb for not teaching you about the war before abandoning you. Now get lost, as I am trying to relax and you are most certainly not helping. If you continue, maybe I'll abandon you as well, but in the middle of an icy lake. I heard that a colleague of mine did something similar recently. Perhaps she can give me a few tips, yes?" Without looking back, Sepisc stalked off, flattening the already firm snow. If that Soulpeace dares follow me, I don't know what I'll do. Perhaps I'll send him back to base and deal with him later... Though I do admire her determination... Her fiery spirit would be a nice change in the middle of all this conflict.

Lady followed after him staying closets the shadows to stay hidden. She didn't really care what he said. She didn't want to be alone again. Truth be told, she never met her parents. She hatched alone. This white dragon would probably never understand. She sighed. Hopefully he would someday. Lady decided to walk the tree ranches and get off the cold ground. She ran up agree like a squirrel and kept to the shadows as she followed Sepisc.

Dump hatchling's still stalking me... Does she really think that I can't tell? She's so noisy, the deafest dragon at Heraldic could hear her... Sepisc's wings twitched in annoyance, there was something incredibly strange about the Soulpeace. Not strange in a good way, either. Just dumb and annoying. "I know you're up there. If you're going to annoy me, do it in the open!" He was fuming with rage now, more than willing to fly up and knock Lady out of the tree. Instead, he cast a wall of magic behind him, preventing the Soulpeace from following him any further. Hmph. You'd better not find a way around that... "Now stop following me!," he growled.

Lady bashed her head against the wall and fell. She chirped and shook her head. That wasn't fair. She just didn't want to be left out here alone. An escort back to base would be fine with her if Sepisc didn't want her around. The Soulpeace looked up and down the magical wall and started to plan. It seemed to only go up at a certain height. She could fly... if she had wings. She looked down. Well, she could dig. It may take work, but her muscles would develope stronger at least. She started to dig through the snow, then the dead fall and grass and finally into the dirt. She dug deeper and deeper till she saw that the wall didn't go that far down. She moved under the wall and popped her head out. She looked at the white and back to her little hole in the ground. Maybe she could find a way to stalk up behind him without him noticing. She went back under and curled up in her tunnel and waited for him to leave. She had an idea.... or two.

Sepisc had returned to the base, but he was not happy at all. He had been planning on using the walk to calm down, but who could with an annoying hatchling chasing them? The only silver lining was that the Soulpeace was no longer following and was presumably lost in the forest, never to be seen again. While he felt sorry for being responsible for a death, he was fine pretending it didn't happen. After the overwork, a key had turned inside the elderly white, opening a door and transforming the normally kind, compassionate dragon into a monster. Though the door would be locked again after some rest, an easy thing to obtain, Sepisc still had work to do before he could take a break. Somniall had better have finished resting. If she hasn't, she'll undergo some... intense stamina training...

As Brail left, Keszpik stared after him coldly. His best friend had nearly died, he had separated from his soul mate, and now he was stuck with the stupidest dragon in the entire base, save for Jiiva; the last thing he needed was that insolent Silver and his crude comments. He turned back to the Nebula, trying to focus his attention on the hatchling and not let Brail get away with clouding his thoughts. "Well, Deliospithicallia," he said, "I suppose it's merely the two of us now. We ought to do something productive, but, well, I don't like it here. It's really as simple as that." He thought about telling the hatchling about his plans for the future. Surely this aloof dragon could be trusted. It seemed he scarcely remembered he was even in reality, anyways. That sparked a thought though: was anyone really in reality? Maybe Deliospithicallia was the only dragon here who could reach reality, in a true sense. Maybe he was perfect, too, like Sepisc. He wondered. Did he deserve to be here, either? To be abused by Heraldic, used for pointless bloodshed? The hatchling's eyes gave away nothing, vast with some sort of knowledge only Deliospithicallia could comprehend. Keszpik shivered. Too many innocent lives lost. Too many perfect souls, thrown about and tattered like dolls.

Luxiphere batted he wings uselessly, trying to ward off some unseeable threat. She was terrified, but she didn't know what it was that scared her. She cried out for help, but everything she said was lost in some expanse, inescapable darkness. "Please, someone!" She shouted, but no one came. "Help... I-I can't go on..."

She woke up with a jump. Something heavy was standing on her, but it took a second for her blurred vision to refocus. She swished her tail, which was being kneaded by... Somniall? She must've passed out before she got back to base. On her chest, however, was something far less appealing: a big Harvest, which was nonchalantly licking her. "Ewwwww! Got off! Get off immediately!" She screeched, flapping her sore wings furiously. Every beat sent new shockwaves of pain through her, but this was absolutely unacceptable. The Harvest looked at her, smiled, and stepped off. When she had eventually ended her panic, Luxiphere finally had time to soak in the situation. As revolting as it was, this hatchling had saved her. Somniall was smiling at her to, a look of mixed relief and ecstasy in her eyes. "Th-thank you," she sputtered out. "Just helping," he said, and with that the Harvest waddled away. She watched he walk off, slowly blending in with the other throngs of recruits navigating HQ. She flopped on her back and sighed deeply. She spread her wings out, which were taking on a sparkly, golden attribute. And then Luxiphere made a rainbow.

Alique gave a small jump when a fizzle of rainbow-colored sparks appeared in front of her eyes. Magic! Other dragons! Salvation! Yay! I wonder if a little rat made that... Can rats use magic? The Black dragon turned around a corner to find herself staring at a sick-looking Sunsong. "Hi there... Have I met you before? I don't think I have..." Wothout waiting for a reply, though, Alique ran off to find the tactician room, trying to focus and not miss again. If she did, she would most certainly be late.

Lady got out of her digging hole that she had laid in to hide from Sepisc. She got up and navigated through the Forest to the base. She smiled happily when she finally found it. Now she was safe. May be she could go talk to others. She yawned and walked away toward some other dragons. One of them seemed tall, silver and serpent like. He must be Brail. He was the trainer she needed to see. Lady gazed up at him. "I want to train for tactician." She called toward him. She say up straighter trying to look dignified so that she could start training. She really wanted that job. "My name is Divine Lady, or Lady for short." She said quietly. The youngling yawned and searched around for Mockingbird, she had been quite fond of that dragon.

Alique sat around in the tactician room, waiting for Brail, who wasn't there yet. It was something that had surprised her, but it was a pleasant surprise, she wouldn't be in trouble. The tactician trainer was running quite late. Maybe I should check the battle map again? In case there are any mistakes? Yeah, I should... Wait, where is it? Oh darn, I must have lost it! Does that mean it has to be redrawn? I guess it does... The young tactician found a piece of paper and dipped her tail in a pot of ink; poised to begin drawing. In no time at all, she had the basic shapes done, and she had used all the ink. "Oh, shoot, I used all the ink... There must be more somewhere..." Though she was talking to herself as reassurance, it was quite clear that the dark staining liquid was nowhere to be found in the room. I'll have to find some elsewhere, but Brail might arrive when I'm searching... I know! I'll finish it with scorch marks! One might have thought drawing with fire was unsafe, but that didn't occur to Alique. She lit her tail and lowered it to begin writing.

Brail gave a sharp hiss when the soulpeace stepped in front of him. Darn these little colored, hairless rats! he thought angrily with a shake of his blue mane. Popping out everywhere, he added.

"Yes, yes, whatever. Blah, blah, you want to be a tactician. Well then, Lady the colorful rat," -it was very clear that he was still fuming- "Follow me to the room, hopefully the other blackr at known as Alique will be there," he added the last part under his breath.

Brail gave an indignant look before walking towards the room at a fast pace. He navigated the halls and doors, obviously testing the hatchling. He paused at a door before opening it, hoping that the black hatchling was late. But she wasn't. And all he saw was Alique burning her tail to write.

"No! You idiot rat!" He shouted, lunging forward fast, paws knocking the paper off the table.

Axel had a brooding, thoughtful look at the others. But, he continued to ice up his tail, before weaving around them to wander the hallways again. He huffed and a small stream of snowflakes flew out and stuck to his tail. He glanced around before test smacking it against the wall, leaving a considerably large mark in the wall.

"Oh no!" he gasped slightly, eyes widening. He tried to piece the wall together hastily. But then at failed attempts, he turned and scuttled down the hall, rushing down the hall in a hurry.

Lady could guess that Brail must be on of those really mean trainers. For one he called her a rat. Not only was that an insult, but it was no where close to the real thing. She shrugged it off. Better to let things roll off. This was war, not some resort fun land. She looked to the other dragon her eyes wide. What was this dragon doing? She looked back at Brail, why was he do angry? She shook her head. Was there any nice souls here? Well, she could be the first them. Hatchlings might enjoy her company more than their trainers. She walked behind Brail and waited for instructions.

"Hey! I was writing! You were the one who told me to make the battle map! Making fire isn't easy, you know!" The flame Alique had created was gone now, extinguished when Brail lunged at her. "And look! You tore up the map! It took me forever to make that!" Alique was now beginning to sulk. She stomped dramatically to a corner, where she sat now with her face to the wall. "I'm angry now! Don't try to make me turn around because I won't!" Her tone was informative in a childish way, not really sounding angry, but telling others that she was. To taunt her trainer, she stuck her tail out and lit it, allowing the dim red flames to flicker about wildly. "Oh and you can't have the strategy you asked for either! Because I have it hidden and I'm not talking to you anymore!"

Lady was astounded at how quickly her trainer moved. She glanced around and blinked. That other hatchling seemed to have....disrespected her trainer? Lady shrugged. She couldn't believe that a hatchling like that would treat such an art so lightly. Any slightest mistake count be costly, or so she heard. The hatchling walked over to the ruined drawing and glanced at Brail. "What did she do wrong, Monsieur?" she asked carefully. She didn't want to get attacked and would rather "put her back into" her work. That is, if she had one.

Sepisc, who had been taken a break, was now rested and back to his usual self. First, find Somnial and make sure she's okay. Then, check on Luxiphere, who should be fine. Eliza probably deserves a reward. And perhaps I'll talk to Brail... His students do seem to be quite wise... I should inquire about his methods. By the time I finish all that, night should have fallen. Now where was I? Oh yes, finding Somnial... The old healer soon found himself in the lobby. However, Somnial was not there. Luxiphere was. I guess not everything has to be done in perfect order... He held back a sigh, then approached the mage. "Hello, Luxiphere. It's nice to see that you're doing fine. Would you like to be moved?

"WHAT DID YOU DO WRONG? YOU COULD OF BURNT THIS WHOLE BASE TO A PILE OF BLACK ASHES, THAT IS WHAT YOU COULD OF DONE!!!" Brail roared, the ruined map tattered in his claws. He huffed angrily at Alique's retorts and glared at Lady.

"Why do you even need to make another one? I thought you had finished one already," he spoke, his voice obviously trying to sound nicer. He was resisting the feeling of slapping the dragon's little head. "Oh, you can stay there for as long as you want. With no food or water, and you will prove no use to me. I can teach Lady here, instead of you," he sighed dramatically, moving over to a stack of papers. He rummaged through the scrolls before pulling out quite a large bottle of blue ink. "Here is the ink. Just search for it," he growled angrily, placing the ink on the table.

Lady was suddenly happy to hear that she could finally be trained. She walked over to the ink and sat down waiting for her instructions. She glanced at the hatchling in the corner and sighed. May be she should try to cheer up the other hatchling? Could she get the hatchling to help her? Why was Brail still so mean? It just.....why? War is no game, she was starting to grasp that, but wouldn't a nice trainer be able to teach more faster if nicer? Lady decided that it was something to consider. Her mind continue reeling with thoughts similar to these.

Keszpik blinked at Deliospithicallia, but he hardly reacted. He did admire the Nebula, yes, but he was still quite annoying. Almost on a level of so much irritation that Keszpik could hardly look at him. He turned and walked a little further down the hall, in slight understanding of why Brail was so crude to the hatchling. Of course, he still hated the Trainer - really all Trainers other than Sepisc - with a burning passion, but he could at least put himself in the dragon's place for a moment. But, as he turned to corner to find the Silver in question seething, he lost any shred of respect he had left for Brail. "In the name of Aer, Brail, everyone from here to Paradice could hear you. Instead of going ballistic, why don't you actually watch your students so this never happens in the first place." He sneered at the Tactician, unafraid of the string of insults that was inevitably going to rain down on him. Keszpik didn't care anymore, anyways. "This, Brail is why Lotus is better than you. In fact, when you think about, Lotus is better than all of you. He had everything down in perfect order. Here you yell at hatchlings and then expect them to fight to the death. You're just... despicable. All of you. Go ahead, tell on me. Call me out for felony. Do I care? To tell truth, not a lot."

((Yeah sorry, I need to start being more active tongue.gif. One decent sized post to make up for things. No pictures, I might edit it soon, I'm on the phone))

Del

Del was lost in his own world, he didn't hear the dark blue hatchling talking to him or even Brail shouting. He remembered Vorgi closing her eyes and her body shining whilst absorbing cosmic energy and light. Del named the skill she used Lumiscent Cosmos, and he tried to use it himself, but failed miserably. Del wondered off in all the commotion and ended up at the Main HQ portal. The Magi dragon there woke up from his nap and drowsily used its magic for teleportation. Del stepped into the orange light unknowingly and was being transported to the HQ.

Eclipse

Eclipse arrived at the main lobby and walked over to the fire. Fire and warmth was a rare sight in Menap so she was glad when the flame slowly warmed her up. Eclipse didn't mind the cold but she was out in the frozen wastelands for way too long to just simply ignore the bitter coldness. Eclipse lay down next to the soulpeace hatchling who was already sleeping by the fireplace, was it Eliza? What a curious name. She lay down and closed her eyes and dozed off soon.

Vorgi

Vorgi swooped down and landed on the roof of the Menap Base. She was tired of people raging at her, it was just a little joke, right? Vorgi didn't even know anymore, she didn't know what was right or wrong, what was good and what was bad, or what was justice or evil. Maybe those things didn't exist in this world. Maybe those things were created by others to label people and judge them. Vorgi strided down to the Mage room to practise her magic. Vorgi drew a magic circle with incantations on the floor. She closed her eyes and felt the stars above her, slowly collecting their energy. Feeling the power coursing through her veins, she almost used a destructive magic but calmed her senses and pictures light. "Brilliance!" She shouted and the whole room was filled with a beautiful glow. Vorgi was tempted to open her eyes but she knew as soon as she did, she would be blinded. Even with her eyes closed, some of the light penetrated through her eyelids. A smile crept across her face when she realised she was still sharp with her magical energy.

Eliza

Eliza opened her eyes. She realised that she had dropped off next to the fireplace. The Christmas hatchling that was with Keszpik was dozing next to her. Not wanting to disturb the blue hatchling, Eliza carefully tip-toed over to the medical room. Without saying another word because of her drowsiness, she got to work. Eliza first collected a bit of each herb and placed them inside of her now dry bag. She evaluated each patient and mentally picked the ones that could be treated by her. Eliza got to work, furiously creating medicines and healing broths, giving them to each of the patients. Eliza took on a whole different personality whilst healing others, making up for her lack of magic with her determination and speed.

"Oh yeah well- Oops... I talked to you... Darn... Whatever. Well, it wouldn't have burned, because my fire is magic! I can control it! ...Usually. But that doesn't matter, because you ruined it! I don't have the energy to make another fire. Oh wait, there's ink..." Alique scurried over to where the inkpot sat, unknowingly knocking Lady away in the process. She dipped her tail in the dark liquid, and positioned it over the paper as she prepared to remake her plan for the second time. She scribbled frantically fast on the scroll, she muttered to herself, tweaking the original strategy while she drew it. Though the quality of the lines and the notes weren't very good, they got the message through.

It was grudgingly that she pushed the scroll to Brail, though she was upset, she wasn't so petty as to sabotage their side of the war. Anyway, she wasn't going to be mad tomorrow. By then, she would've forgotten any negative feelings and returned to dreamland.
