Sepisc flicked his tail, shattering Keszpik's crystal prison. Muttering someting vile under his breath, he glared at Vorgi, then gave a weary sigh. Kezspik, follow Eliza back to base, ask Somniall for help if you need anything. If you run, you might be able to catch up. If you do, help Eliza carry Luxiphere back. Neither of you are strong enough alone." Waving the young tactician in the direction of the camp, Sepisc turned to Vorgi. 'Entertainment? Is there not enough to do at Heraldic? Not enough training areas? Not enough students? If you're bored can't you just go on a stroll in the forest? Or if you must be violent, have a fight with Scorpion, or even an argument with Brail?" Sepisc shook his head. "Vorgi, you're still young. Lot's of time left in your life. Do something... productive." Finishing his short rant, Sepisc, turned around and began the walk back to headquarters, not particularly caring about what Vorgi might be doing behind his back.

Instead of catching up with Eliza like he was asked, Keszpik lingered around Sepisc. Something about the White intrigued him. He was so wise,. like an ascended creature that was visiting this realm. So unlike Keszpik, who was trapped in this flawed universe forever. He would never reach such an awing level of holiness, but he could save the world from the strife that tainted Havelia. Maybe that's why he was isolated in this dimension, to purge it of the unworthy. "Why do you do it?" He asked out loud. "Aid those who stain our world with blood. You're so... perfect. Like the ultimate goal, except you've reached it. So why stay? You should join me on my quest. You, Somniall, and I; us three would have it all. An anarchy where everyone was perfect, like you. You understand. You must. And yet you shamelessly side with Heraldic. Doesn't it sadden you? the Strife? We could fix it, you know. Think on that for me." He looked back down at the ground. Every step he made imprinted the snow, crushing the snowflakes covering the earth. Keszpik wished he didn't have to ruin such a beautiful tapestry of ice. If only he could walk and not ruin the snow. Maybe, though, someday he could. Someday.

By this point, Sepisc knew Vorgi was going to sit and think for a long while. He had given her something to ponder, a rough trail to follow until she reached the conclusion. So he continued wearily forward, lifting each leg above the snow before moving forward and placing it with a soft crunch. But out of nowhere, a spark, then a solid body appeared. Kezspik. Still wandering around, I see. His dark blue hide contrasted the white snow, snow that could easily be stained blood red; tainted with the fury or battle. The pure crispness was delicate and fragile, like the heart and minds of so many dragons: Ready to break at the slightest touch.

Kezspik's words shocked him, though. They were not words of a hatchling, nor were they words of a philosopher. They didn't speak endlessly of a time of peace, or some other overdone idea. They just inquired. Why join a war? Why fight? What's the point? The young tactician had seemed broken, and though he was, hope still shimmered within him. He was beyond caring, yet he cared for his friend. He was tired and yet he pushed on, defiant. Sepisc was already thinking about what he had said, but the thing ringing the loudest was how Kezspik spoke of his perfection. I am not perfect. Far, far from your definition. "Kezspik, follow me."

He looked up at Sepic. What did he have to show Keszpik? He looked down the path, where Eliza was dragging Luxiphere along. Would he bring them, too? He remembered the Sunsong's frozen body: so still, so peaceful. Maybe she couldn't come along, even if invited. In her state, death was very possible.

((Guh, this post is painfully short.))

Sepisc began to trail behind, unable to keep the brisk pace he had been moving at. "Actually, can you chase Eliza and help her bring Luxiphere back? I'm tired; I won't be able to make it back as fast as you young ones. Take care of your friend. Eliza knows what to do." when he finished instructing Keszpik, Sepisc's walking slowed more. Oh, how he would love to be back at base, but of course, he couldn't. Because Eliza had gone off on some mission, Luxiphere got hurt and all the dragons back at base had nobody taking care of them. The dragons back at base? censorkip.gif! I'm not going to get back there fast, not with an unfavorable wind! Keszpik is right. What's the point of all this?!

He nodded, going from a walk to a trot, but was still in no particular hurry. Keszpik would have to be prepared of Luxiphere died, so he didn't expend a lot of energy trying to get to her while she was alive. The wind brought up some snow and blew it in his face, and the Thunder twitched his muzzle in annoyance. Why was he even here, anyways? If Heraldic was going to force hatchlings to fight for them they might as well use ones that were actually adapt to their environment. He should be in the mild forests Lorasia, not scorching Paradice nor this frigid Menap. He'd been here for two months, two months, and his friend was dying!

~~~
After a little while, Keszpik had caught up with Eliza and Luxiphere. Eliza was dragging her along at a somewhat slow pace, but he still pondered whether she deserved help or not. He had made an oath not to care, and he probably wouldn't have helped under normal circumstances, anyways. But he still found himself underneath the Sunsong in a matter of moments, lugging her along. "Hello Luxiphere," he said flatly. She noddy faintly. He eyelids flickered, and he guessed she was too tired to give a full response. He looked behind him at Sepisc, who was waddling at a steady, slow pace behind the three, and Vorgi, who was now just a speck by the lake doing who knew what. He hoped the Council captured Vorgi and tortured her. It would only be one more reason the hatchling sided with Lotus. Keszpik had a certain degree of respect for Lotus; being an anarchist he could never truly join him, but the powerful leader had the right idea. He would have to remember to invite the dragon on his mission for freedom when he had finally escaped Heraldic.
"Thank you, Keszpik... May your friends be ever loyal to you." Sepisc continued forward, dragging his legs through the snow. The trail behind him was no longer sets of footprints, but two long lines where the snow had been pushed away. This would be a nice spot to rest... But it's too cold to be helpful. It will drain energy instead of restore it. I shouldn't have done that magic earlier, it wears me out far too much... Perhaps I should try flying? No, there's too much wind. I hope Somniall has rested and has gone to check on the injured soldiers...
Somniall let out an enormous yawn as she got up and stepped onto her cloud. How long had she slept? The sun was almost setting. She certainly had done a lot of work that morning, but she didn't expect to get so tired. "Oh well," she mumbled to herself. She started humming a tune, passing by peacefully sleeping Warriors covered in small bandages and salves. She noticed Jiiva was among them, sleeping soundly. A pair of tiny wings flapped on his back with every breath. "I never noticed how old he was," Somniall noted. "Much older than me." As she headed to the lobby to shake herself fully awake, she looked out the window and noticed three specks all clumped together, and they seemed to be coming towards base. She could guess two of them were Luxiphere and Eliza, who had 'mysteriously' been gone all day, but the third dot surprised her. I big, navy-blue creature that could only be one thing: "K-Keszpik!" She cried out loud. "Keszpik is here!"
Somewhere in Paradice a small silver and blue colored egg sat. It was half Burried in the sand and seemed to be a dead egg. That was when the egg started to role around and move. It wiggled, it spun and it chirped. Wait, CHIRPED?! A leg popped out, then another, then a tail and a small head. The dragon that emerged was entirely blue with a gold "crown" on its head. It's purple eyes scanned the pretty landscape.
The new hatched Soulpeace crawled out of its shell and walked around chirping and calling for others. The baby was hungry, alone, and very scared. It looked around anxiously.
((Well everyone's probably gonna go to the Main Base after an avoidable timeskip. You could start at the main base or be in Menap. You could even be in Paradice.))
Vorgi looked on as Sepisc moved forward. She didn't need him, or the hatchlings or anyone. Hell, she could wander about on her own in Menap and and she'd still make it. The more Vorgi thought about other dragons the more she got angry. Stupid white goat, he doesn't know anything. Too soft he is. she thought to herself. Vorgi closed her eyes and gathered up cosmic energy from the stars. The stars could not be seen but Vorgi could still feel their warmth and their brightness in the sky. After gathering a considerable amount, she flapped her majestic wings and took off, gaining speed as she did so. Vorgi then released the burst of energy she had collected to shoot herself forward at the perfect angle, leaving a trail of starry dust and red, misty lights. In no time, she was back at the base.
saw - no, felt - Vorgi fly past him. Well, no fly. Teleport would be a more accurate word. It was the swirl of magic that gave her away, a result of the extreme power she possessed. The trailing sparks were bright red, but vanished soon after they appeared. Perhaps it's a message that I should move faster... No, it's just Vorgi's way to do everything with as much efficiency as possible. But I guess I should try to return to base before another chill arrives. However, Sepisc's plans were to be interrupted, as no sooner had he taken a step than he felt something crunch beneath him. He cursed under his breath as the newborn Soulpeace revealed itself to him. He did not want any more to deal with. He was already tired, too tired to use any major magic. "You, what are you doing here? If you've just hacked, you're in the wrong place. This is Menap, site of a war base. Either leave, or join." Without looking back, Sepisc continued, hoping the hatchling was too young to know how to respond.
The young hatchling slowly peered around, lying on the ground. Her latest attempt to fly somewhere had failed miserably. It had been a bad idea to fly from such a high vantage point. She listened closer to determine her surroundings, and as she concentrated she could begin to hear talons stepping along the ground. This place looked familiar, as if she had been here forever. She shook her head. I need to find out where I am... she thought, nervous at the prospect of strange creatures all around her.
"Hello? Is anyone there?" she cried, hoping somebody, anybody would hear her plea for answers. She rose up from the ground, shaking herself off.
"Hello?!" she yelled, quite a bit louder.
Sepisc saw the purple hatchling in front of him and swore again, quite loudly. So much for kind, calm, and peaceful. He was not going to help this hatchling. Unless of course, his conscience made him. That's not saying that he was happy, though. Sepisc was practically growling. "I have seen you at Heraldic before! What on earth are you doing out here?! Get back to base!" though the old white healer normally would have been more compassionate, even he couldn't have stayed nice after the day he was having. It wasn't bad, mind you, but it was too busy for his taste. He continued talking to the Nhiostrife, growing more aggravated with every word. "If you don't, I'm telling your trainer. Wait. I have a better idea. You see that newborn behind us? Take her to Heraldic and you will not be in trouble."
Mockingbird nodded politely. "Yes, sir." She was putting an honest effort into being sincere, and she hoped that Sepisc would notice.
She turned to the young, newly hatched Soulpeace and trotted over. The young Nhiostrife gently nudged the hatchling, ready to escort it to Heraldic's headquarters.
It was like Sepisc had become a new dragon. A dragon void of any compassion. "Hurry up! Nobody's waiting for dusk so they can fly out here and rescue you two!" Sepisc's rage couldn't be justified, though, as they were mere minutes away from camp. In fact, he could see it, a small speck in distance. The hatchlings he had rescued seemed to already have arrived. Lifting his wings, he muttered something under his breath. No sooner had he finished than the wind changed direction, though Sepisc was notably weaker than before.
The Soulpeace hatchling blinked at the two dragons. Who were they? What was....Heraldic? She chirped and ducked down. She was confused and scared. "Who are you?" She croaked. The newborn shivered from the cold and curled into a ball to try to warm herself up.
(Huh.... Sorry missed that one.)
