That silver checker isn't mine, no.

 

I do have another CB sweetling. He was not in the mood this week. I will try him again.

 

I've been collecting as many second gens as possible with the hope of nabbing more alts. My husband can already make a 4th gen checker with blacks, I should be able to make 3 or 4 4th gens this year in silver, gold, black and pink.

I'm trying to decide if I should breed my other alt sweetling and snow angel together as a mate to this dragon that I decided to breed on a whim. Should I do an impossible difficult checker?

Other than that question, I'm trying to decide what to do with my alt sweetlings. Historically, I've bred them with whites (and am doing a checker with them now) but now that we can keep offspring, I'm wondering what other projects I might do. Or should I offer trades? Decisions, decisions.

Here's that checker at 3rd gen, ytak. My impossible wish is for two more of that pairing come Valentine's, as I have two leftover 2nd gen Christmas mates just like that. Another 3rd gen & I could make 4th gens come next Christmas... if wishes were ponies, I'd have a herd of them!

 

Thanks to solstices, I now need to make a mate for this girl. That'll take care of the Knave's Valentine breeding. I'm already doing the gold x alt & black x alt checkers, should reach 4th gen on those this year, barring refusals. That leaves Cupid... Since GoNs became breedable, & also because of their neutrality with them, I've been heavily leaning towards breeding him with one of my female GoNs, although that'll make for yet another near-impossible continuation...

 

I haven't had much inspiration for much else, although I'd dearly love to get hold of two 2nd gen alts from silvers to kickstart my own silver checker, which has been on hold for some time now. My ability to find them in the AP is dismal at best, & I always seem to be at work when the alts I'm aware of are bred.

 

Edited to add: I have an open trade for a 2nd gen alt x carmine that I'll be making a 3rd gen checker from, & on the off chance I can snag another either through trading or getting lucky in the AP, might be able to make 4th gen by next year.

My alts are still resting; in about a day or so I can try them again.

 

In the meantime, I have this 3G pink checker with alt sweets and old pinks Pink checker

 

I'd love a bloodswap! Don't know if that is possible tho

 

So, another nice alt sweet checker would be good too, especially with blacks, stripes or pinks.

I don't suppose anyone else is doing an alt sweetling X white checker like this? Because I would love a blood swap.

You'd think that someone else would be doing the same thing since everything seems to have checkers done with whites. I was kind of hoping to make it to 5th gen for a nice "flip" mate to this dragon.

Tho... maybe I could get two whites from regular sweetling checkers and put the alts on top and the regular in the lower half. Hmmmm, something to consider after Valentines.
