Latest and last experiment before I tear it apart and rebuild:

 

 

Really wanted to go for some Byzantine structure, but since we can't stack stuff on top of stuff, well, maybe TJ will open that up a last option just in time for the event to be over. But probably not, so I'm going to choose between one of these two layouts:

 

- Roman Snow Fort

 

or

 

- Greek Snow Temple (with the cat statue now, I could have a temple to Bast as well as Draco!)

I just spent 3 hours working on mine. Like wow. @_@ So far, this has been my favorite holiday event from Dragon Cave. I don't think I'm going to work on mine anymore, but I would like some input about how it looks! Click here!

I am done with my snow town : D

It has 7 houses, a chicken farm, a wood, a town centre, a play area and palace...

Low HP though ;-; strength or beauty... got to choose...

I wanted to make a Christmas fair for dragons and their babies, that was my initial idea. Hatchlings have their colorful castle to play in (like the air castles kids like to jump in), a petting zoo, a candy shop in front of the entrance, and adults can have some time alone in the log cabin restaurant or whatever while their kids are having fun. ^^

 

Mine is nothing compared to all of your amazing forts, but I like mine the way it is, whether it has any chances to win whatsoever or not.

I won't say it was totally my idea. My boyfriend helped me a lot in placing the decorations. If it was just me I'd have just gone for some very simple layout but he wanted some variety and colours, so here it is. We still have some final touches to add. We are just waiting for some snow to be gathered.

Whole thing just abuses a lot of glitch, a large amount of it is a giant optical illusion (for instance, although the ice inside the fort looks to be one level, it is actually a mix of 1-height, 2-height, and 4-height ice blocks). Also look how the back wall and "staircase" in the center get taller/shorter. Additionally, I screwed up a couple of the wall connections for the lulz.

Not A Fort But A Village!

 

Took me forever to decide if I wanted to make an ice fort of awesome or play with the gingerbread houses :3 decided on the latter and I'm quite happy of my little village.
