Posted October 20, 2013 (edited) DISCONTINUED DAMSELS Hello and welcome to Discontinued Damsels, a lineage dedicated to honoring the discontinued Frilled dragons and the snazzy Magi dragons! what is it? + rules :: you are here! forms :: second post waiting and members lists :: third post banners :: fourth post updates :: fifth post What Is It? This lineage was created as a sort of baton-pass project, in which all members of it will be descendants from Duke of the Discontinued and Every Hour is Magi Hour (more Magi mates may be added at a later date). Seeing how Frilled are now discontinued, most people only have a select few that are actually CB. In this project, I will breed an egg and pass it on to another player, who will then raise it to mate with their own CB Frilled. If they have more CB Frilleds on their scroll, they'll keep continuing the line until they've produced an egg as many generations down as possible. Then, the egg is passed to someone else, and they repeat the process with their own Frilleds. The goal is to see how long we can get the lineage, and to produce as many eggs are possible! Rules and Regulations 1. All dragons participating in this project must be descendant from Duke. 2. There is no naming theme to follow, but remember to keep things appropriate! 3. You only have to pass on one egg to another player. The rest you are free to keep and continue breeding however you would like. 4. You may request a second (or third+) egg from Duke, but you'll have a lower priority than those who have yet to receive one. 5. Any dragons in this project HAVE TO BE Frilleds and Magis only. Any eggs that you keep and decide to breed for pleasure can contain whatever you like, but they will not count towards this project. 6. All additions to the project must be reported through the use of the appropriate forms. 7. You are allowed to experiment with these eggs -- HOWEVER, only if it is one of the following: a ) your third or higher egg from Duke b ) an egg you bred for yourself (AFTER passing on the first egg to someone else) c ) it is the second egg you are receiving from the same breeder who has okayed the experimentation 8. I also have a female CB Frill so if you wanted a spiral line I could breed her to a male magi from the line. I will add myself to the breeders list. Posted November 5, 2013 lol, when I read Lavinia's post and your answer, stating that even-gens are also fine, I was like "Woot, amazing, I can actually join with the 2nd gen magi I have!" I checked on my 2nd gen and found that it's actually a child of Duke Still love that combination, Frills and Magis look so awesome together! So if that's possible I'd love to join and also try my luck on even-gens I Want To Join! Thanks for the interest, guys! <: The lists have been updated, and I've added a temporary application for those of you who might want to become a foundation pair breeder (seeing how the vast majority seems to want to do even gen lineages, and I only have Duke)! The foundation application will only be open for a short time since things are still pretty small, and these new foundation breeding pairs will have to follow by the same egg rules that Duke does! They won't have to have special names, however, so no need to worry about that. (: Hopefully I'll be able to finish off the banners early next week! Breeders please note, mine will be bred both to produce foundation non-duke babies for the even geners and to my Duke babies to further those lines. So watch out not to inbreed!
