Posted January 25, 2014 I finally have all of the CB dragons needed for my first line |D -> First pair gave me an egg of the wrong breed. If anyone wants a 2nd gen Coastal Waverunner with waterhorse father, feel free to snatch it. Well, I just realized I needed a Waverunner anyways |D -> And thankfully the second pair did give me that waverunner. I'll be influencing it female .-. -> I got a refusal from Basle and Wind Sweeper x.x -> Did get a waterhorse from my last pair. Also gonna influence it female. Fortunately my Ballon gentlemen and Water Walker ladies didn't disappoint me. I got a 2nd-gen Ballon and a 2nd-gen Water Walker. Posted January 26, 2014 Got another Brimstone...I PROBABLY DIDN'T PRAY ENOUGH. Decided to try this since everyone else was too; you can guess what I got. Yup, brimstone. I'm still not too sure about the RB x trihorn half, but it's done for now That code is awesome! "Prey" fabulous. Gratz on finishing a project as well. The nice part is that now you have two halves finished, you can always mix and match later for something else you prefer or can stick with what you've got. It's an intriguing combo. i still need a harvest from turpentine female- but I truly believe they are secret seasonals and I may have to wait 'till Fall Tried these for fun just to see what I could get for you. No surprise from my scroll, turpentines have been rejecting/ed right and left of late. I'm so tired of refusals. Turpentines are precious. Everyone just needs to get along. *boops dragons* Of course the next gen is Stone x Stone! *claps hands over mouth* I'm sorry, I laughed out loud. At least you can tell right away and don't have to hatch it first to find out the problem Better luck next breeding, and with any fortune, stone x stone will not play havoc with you further. Posted January 26, 2014 Yet again my 2nd gens are being contrary. While trying for two 3rd gen Purple Dorsals, I got these two instead. Would anyone be interested in giving them a home? Natch = naturally slang I didn't list the stones yet, I was planning on doing one sometime, and was trying to find something to start so I wouldn't be annoyed that my other projects have not been cooperative. I have noticed that stone dragons are one that used to be very common, and now show up less in the drops, too. I am seeing a whole lot more blacks, tho. TJ does like to keep us on our toes... Posted January 27, 2014 Water Horses have never been among my favourite breeds (although they've grown on me quite a bit) but I have to agree that they just look great with so many other breeds... Spitfire, Deep Sea, Thunder, Gold... I'm officially stuck now, three of my five projects show no sign of progress and it's the Seragammas' fault! And the one Imp lady. So I've started wondering if I should build alternate mates for the two projects that are already half finished, it feels kinda silly to have one half complete and the other half still at the CB stage. I'll still continue trying for eggs but in the meantime I could use Neotropicals instead of Imps in the Water Walker lineage and Pebbles instead of Seragammas in the Fog lineage and maybe, just maybe, get some results while I wait for the original plan to work. Come to think of it, my Pebble/Neotropical arrowhead is going nowhere because I only get Neos hopefully that's not a warning sign. Maybe Neotropicals are too risky too, what else looks good with Water Walkers... hmm, Water Horse maybe? Share this post Link to post

A 2nd gen for one of my greens and waiting for a 2G to grow up for the other half... and success with one half of my "whites" project... but the other 2G pair refused Not sure who's the persnickety one, the stripe or the lumina. They are probably both divas. Got a few other refusals (more than usual for the number of dragons bred, and from dragons I would not expect to be picky) but have noticed other players' comments about increased refusals lately And then I did a Stupid... accidently bred a CB gray with a 4G checkerboard trihorn, and didn't realize it until it hatched... so I froze & released it.
