With all this talk of ratios I think I got lucky with my Black Tea/Blacktip/Brute, up until now they've given me the breed I needed every time

What an emotional rollercoaster this breeding turned out to be.   First I bred this and my heart skipped a beat because I've been trying for a Skywing for SO LONG. And then I checked the parents and realised that they already gave me a Skywing and I'd forgotten about it! So I rushed to breed the 2nd gens... and they refused. Well, at least I already have the replacement.

Just a 2G Cassare to report this week.

But I did pick up this bottom half from the AP. Ideas for the top half were turpentine, brimstone or maybe dark lumina. I was wondering if you have any idea of breeding ratios of these three with cassares?

Dark Lumina might work, you just have to pay attention to the moon Cirion. Dark Luminae breed best when Cirion is on low or no light - otherwise you get Light Luminae

Congrats. I agree, the second one looks especially nice.

 

I got the needed 3G Black Tea from the pair that gave me a Black Tip last time (that dustpuppy kindly adopted).

Unfortunately, for the other half of this lineage, the needed 3G Black Tea came out a Brute!

So the replacement Skywing from the Skywing x Striped Rivers (that kept giving me lots of Striped Rivers and one Skywing that refused its mate) grew up and gave me an egg... a Skywing. On the first try. But I need a Striped River this time. Maybe I'll make another lineage with it some day. I did make some progress with the other half of the lineage though.

 

I know it's far too soon to even try to get checkers from the new breeds, but I'm really happy to see how common the Scripts and green Baikalas appear to be...
