Yes, thunder should be completely fine, as long as you have (or can get within reasonable time) a pair of CB thunders you can name or rename for this project. Your choice might slow your traveling progress, since the ratios will probably not let you produce a "ticket" per week. But there's nothing in principle wrong with a slower pace of traveling. If you'd like, it would be nice if you tell us why thunders remind you of Budapest (or the other way round), just for our curiosity. Posted October 16, 2013 Well, the thunders remind me of Budapest because of Hungary's war history. I did WW1 and 2 late last year at school, and I didn't really expect Hungary to be one of the stronger countries. You don't really expect lightning until it hits so that's where I got the relation between the dragon and the country, and Budapest is the capital of Hungary. I already have a CB pair of thunders from the BSA gifting thread (I guess I was just really lucky) and plan to breed them as soon as I'm not egglocked. Being new and all I didn't actually know that the ratios also existed in breeding too. I guess that means there will be slow traveling for me then... Share this post Link to post
Posted October 16, 2013 (edited) The ratios effect all eggs created, so caveborns as well as bred eggs. They basically mean that, thunders being rarer than, e.g. canopies, you'll probably get more "No egg" and "No interest" results than if you'd chosen Canopies (just as an example). But there are quite a number of supposed uncommons around within the project (my Royal Blues, or Dolphine's Golden Wyverns, for example) and they're breeding pretty well.
