Posted September 13, 2013 (edited) Alone for what seems like forever. Forgotten even once you got their attention. Abused and it still hurts. It's all part of being a Dog. Now You're here and trying to survive. Whatever you did to get you here is well in the past. You can be a lone stray or you can join Whisper and help her build a pack to survive. You'll need to be responsible because you will have a job. Since it's so harsh in the city, never go out alone. People are evil and vicious towards us strays; they've beaten, shot at, screamed at, and tried to put a net over us. Because of that reason always watch your back. Always do your job; it will help train you for the hardships to come. If you see a wolf, call for backup. If you see a wolf pup, ask why it's here and then bring it to the border of the forest to go home. It may be lost and it's only a pup. Imagine how you would feel. Everyone is preparing for something big, something frightening and something dangerous. Only Whisper knows what's coming. History for Echo Pack A young dog started the Echo Pack at the age of one. She asked dog after dog to join. She gained quite a few members and they were loyal. They had a few encounters with other dogs-strays in fact. Just a small battle here and there. One day, after everything was finally beginning to calm down, the wolves suddenly attacked! The wolves, known as the Black Blooded, were beaten by the Echo Pack. It was an unlikely event for them to win, but they did. Before leaving, Aphrodite, the Black Blooded pack leader, warned Whisper, "We will be back, and when that time comes I will be thirsty for Echo's last words along with the small whisper that follows." She wouldn't tell anyone what Aphrodite said. Some dogs were wary of her for that. A year has passed since that day and some still don't trust their leader, Whisper. History for Black Blooded When Aphrodite was a young pup, she and her sister Athena were great friends. They went out to see the open fields with their parents, which was a big mistake. Once they got there, hunters spotted them and killed Aphrodite's parents and her sister. She ran as far as she could. She became bitter and corrupt. She gathered those that were mostly like her, those that were cruel. They were about to expand their territory after a year or so when they found the Echo Pack and noticed they were dogs. Not only were they taking over territory that could be hers, but dogs are always with hunters! She hated any dog pack but Echo Pack was the worst. They seemed so nice and calm, taking in the hardships and not fighting unless provoked. Aphrodite was enraged. Setting A map is needed but for now a small description... The streets are filled with rodents and strays. The roads have tons of houses with tons of garbage, most of which is reliable food for the Echo Pack. Most of these roads connect to the fountain, which is in the center of the town. The open wishing fountain, which is one of the main sources of water, is mostly filled with humans: always go with a partner. There's four pathways from there, one is a road that leads to the meadow which is great for hunting. The meadow holds an abandoned barn. The abandoned barn has upper level that only covers half the barn, and horse stables that a dog could easily push open. Right next to the meadow there's the forest, which is the Black Blooded's territory. From there it's unknown. Posted December 7, 2013 Whisper Whisper curled up in a box. It was cold and the rain was making her wet. She walked out of the cardboard and the floor of the sidewalk was freezing. The rain drenched her coat and she looked up at the sky. Hopefully everyone's alright it looks like it's going to snow. She thought. Red He put his head on his paws and slowly drifted to sleep. He found a warm are that was covered but he had to watch for humans. Don't have to babysit right now... Red thought. As he fell asleep the rain came down harder. Feather She walked with Ace trying to find a place to sleep. It was cold and wet but the worst part was Ace going on about how he can take the cold. "Ace that's enough even big hero's like you need to stay warm." She said to the small pup. Ace Ace listened to his mom. "Fine." He grumbled. "Then let's at least take a break my feet hurt." Posted December 9, 2013 Howler lifted his head and sniffed. It was going to be a very cold day for him. That is if the darn squirrels doesn't tease him. He yawned before getting up and stretching. Shadow opened his right eye to see Whisper already up and out of the cardboard box she called home. He wagged his tail happily before deciding to get up and walk about to check the pack's territory. The rain was cold as the drips pattered on the floor. "Aren't you cold?" She asked. Whisper gestured to a warm dry box. "It would be better to be dry." She spoke trying to be nice. Feather She watched Ace run off and she followed swiftly. "Ace get ba- Oh. Hi howler!" She said more calmly. "Watcha doin?" Feather asked. Ace Ace noticed Howler and darted after him. He was funny always getting distracted. "Hi Howler. Seen any squirrels?" He asked teasingly yet proudly. He felt Feather nudge him and he apologized. "Sorry. I didn't mean to be rude." He then decided to take Whisper's suggestion for the nice warm box. Howler's ears shot straight up when he heard the word squirrels. "Where?" he asked, turning about to face Red.
