The Continent of War

Hello and greetings to all!

 

-THE CHARACTERS-

It all started in the Kingdom of Isamenae. The kingdom was made of dragons, as no humans existed yet. The kingdom was ruled by King Gareha who was a royal blue dragon and his wife, Queen Kirikteru (Keer-ik-tear-roo), who was an electric dragon. The King and Queen had four children. The eldest was Prince Akira who was a royal blue, like his father. Next was Prince Tamah, and he was an electric dragon, like his mother. Next there were the twins, Princess Kayla and Princess Erika. Both were mysteriously soulpeace dragons.

 

-THE SETTING-

The King and Queen were fine rulers, and their people were satisfied and happy. However, the King fell ill and over time he slowly died. The Queen died from the same sickness not long after the King, leaving their children alone. The Princesses grieved over the loss of their parents, but, the Princes cared not for them and only cared about who got the throne. Prince Akira claimed he should be king since he was much stronger and older than his brother, who he claimed to be weak and frail. However, Prince Tamah claimed that he should be king because he was smarter than his brother and had a more creative mind. Both of these, of course, were lies. The two brothers fought over the throne for weeks, and the Princesses did everything they could to try to stop their brothers. Their words and actions affected the Princes in no way. Prince Tamah threatened to proclaim war against his brother, and said he only wouldn't do so unless he got the throne. Furious, Prince Akira attacked his brother and gave Prince Tamah three claw marks along his face, scarring him forever. Upon doing that, Prince Tamah split the kingdom, and declared war against his brother. Princess Erika begged her brother not to sign the stone making the declaration of war official, but Prince Tamah ignored her and did so anyway. The kingdom was split in two, and those within the kingdom chose their sides.

 

Now, after 20 years, the two brothers are still fighting, and their war has devastated the land that was once the Kingdom of Isamenae. Now a split kingdom, the war has become so great that the entire world knows of it. Countless deaths have occurred, innocent blood has been shed, and the war is spreading to the other countries around them. The Princes kill the leaders of any kingdoms near them, taking them over, and using the dragons of the kingdoms as soldiers to fight in their war. The continent which their war lies has become complete chaos because of them. Because of this, the continent has been renamed, becoming the "Continent of War".

 

The Princesses have long since given up trying to stop their brothers, but their hearts are still filled with hope that the war will stop. When they gave up, they fled to the other regions, far away from the war zone. Their location is known by none, but many believe they reside in a small village just outside the border of Itharcus, another kingdom away from the war zone. Many dragons believe that the Princesses are the only hope to stopping the war.

 

-YOUR MISSION: PEACEMAKER-

You, along with thousands of others, have become sick and tired of this war, the bloodshed, the death, and the innocent lives lost. You decide to go against both Princes, and plan to join the PeaceMakers.

The 'PeaceMakers' are a group of brave, rebellious dragons that reside and gather in the small country of Redii, which is just below the kingdom of Itharcus. There aren't many soldiers (compared to the Princes' armies) and each of them aren't very powerful, but working together they make a powerful army. The PeaceMakers seek to stop the war, and new members join everyday. However, they don't last long due to several causes of death among the entire continent. Sickness, accidents, and of course, the war, are the main reasons of death.

You may seek to get stronger, in both power and rank, and gain recognition among your peers. Doing this, you might be able to gain the respect of other dragons, and they will follow you and see you as a leader. If you gain enough followers, you might be able to become one of the commanders of the PeaceMakers. What happens from then on is up to you.

Or you may seek to just follow others rather than lead. Without the stress of leading a group, you are able to focus on many more things, such as getting stronger, finding a mate, researching herbs, becoming a healer, and so on.

 

-YOUR MISSION: SOLDIER OF THE PRINCE-

You have heard of this war, and you have heard both arguments from the Princes. You decide that one of them is a worthy leader, and you travel to his kingdom to join his army. You start in the very pits of the army, starting out as no one important. You can choose to stay that way and die, or you can train and get stronger, increasing your chances of survival, and gaining favor in your Prince's eyes. The longer you last and the more you do the higher you will get. What happens from then on is up to you.

 

-HEALER DRAGONS-

Healers are always highly important in all armies, but having to many can make them a target to the Princes. Healers research all they can about herbs whenever they can, but most of the time they are stuck having to heal the wounded and the sick. Healer dragons become strangely attractive, and very healthy, becoming almost immune to all diseases. However, they are weak, and if a solider of one of the Princes finds one, they will kill them. Killing a healer is considered an honor in the armies of the Princes, especially a healer of the PeaceMakers. Healers have their ups and downs, but they are essential in any army.

 

-WANDERERS-

Wanderers are dragon not associated with any of the groups. They simply wander the war zones, joining and leaving as they please. Some are very powerful, some are very wise, and they do as they please. But not many wanderers survive due to being alone.

 

(NOTE UPDATE: Dragons may start at any preferred age no matter what the path. Although, I do wish for dragon in the peacemaker group to be younger.)

 

-NPCs and Adult Dragons-

On This RP, NPCs tend to pop up at random times, so feel free to make one. BUT, I would prefer it if you'd let me know what the NPC's purpose is. An example of an NPC would be, say for instance, an adult dragon in the PeaceMaker camp. An example of that would be PeachSapling's NPC, Galen. She's a red dragon who serves as a nurse for the hatchling and eggs. Adults in the PeaceMaker camp will 95% of the time be NPCs. Only special cases will I allow an adult non-NPC dragon that is a PeaceMaker. Adult dragons are always allowed and soldiers of the Princes. An army of hatchling would make no sense no would it?

 

 

 

-RULES-

1. No swearing of any kind is allowed here. Anything that is considered a swear word is not allowed to be used.

2. OOC posts need to be in (parentheses) to avoid confusion.

3. Use the best grammar of your ability. It does not have to be perfect, but still please try.

4. DO NOT BULLY ANYONE. If anyone is offended or hurt by something YOU said, I will first give you a couple warnings, and if you repeatedly offend someone, you're out. And please apologize to those you hurt!

5. Do not do something that can affect another person's character without asking them first. If it affects them in a minor way, it might be okay. If not, I will notify you.

6. Normally I would not have a limit of characters, but please stay less than six.

7. Posts do not have to be long. If it's too short because you couldn't think of anything, it's fine. I will understand.

8. Do not mate your characters with each other. It's okay if it's a crush that pass, though.

9. As proof you read the rules, you must add X3 to the 'Other' part of the form as proof you have read these rules.

10. Please try to keep your characters sane. I like random as much as anybody else, but there is such a thing as too much. From now on(10/9/13) I will no longer be accepting forms where the character is random. An example would be Jass's character Maiko(no offense). This doesn't mean that your character can't be a little random, just not completely.

 

If any of these rules are broken you will be given two warnings (save for rule #4) and after that you will be kicked out. I'm not a strict person, in fact I'm very humorous and silly, but I'm taking this seriously this time.

 

-LOCATIONS-

Main Kingdoms Isam and Anae: These kingdoms are in the middle of the continent and they are very large, due to the countries that have been taken over. Anae is ruled by Prince Akira, whereas Isam is ruled my Prince Tamah.

 

Northern Kingdom Itharcus: Two countries north of the main kingdoms. It has a large river running through it.

 

Northern Country Redii: Below Itharcus and above the main kingdoms. Small, but certainly known.

 

Haven Inside Hell: The small village where the princesses reside. It is a paradise surrounded by a ring harsh mountains. Jungles filled with vicious creatures, swamps said to be cursed, and forests filled with vines surround the mountains for miles. Only those with the strongest of wings can fly over these lands, the it is impossible to fly over the mountains.

Also, my friend KoalaNoob has a special role in this RP. She controls the 'Mysterious Wanderer'. Her post will detail everything about that dragon. Also, KoalaNoob will gets a few advantages. She controls the background characters(random soldiers, villagers, etc.). Soldiers she controls can either injure, or kidnap your characters, so watch out. However, villagers she controls can give your characters many helpful items and well, anything else Koala can think of. Those are her advantages. She call also control soldiers that can kill of the characters you no longer wish to have.

Personality: Kyle is a very energetic young dragon, and very brave too. He makes friend with just about anyone, always having an optimistic mood. He likes looking at the bright side of things all the time. He often says, "In a war of depression, there's gotta be someone with a smile, right?"

Differences in appearance: His Back fur/scales/spikes(?) are longer that normal, and his paws have a 'squishy' appearence.

Mate/crush: Open as soon as he matures~

Weapons/Abilities/etc: He breathes golden fire and can use his scales to blind his foes via refelcting sunlight off them. This however, can blind himself as well as his friends.

Other:Kyle's dream is to find the princesses. And he plans to do so no matter what the cost.

Dragon Name: Olive

Breed: Olive Dragon

Gender: Female

Personality: Olive has the most obvious name, Olive. She named herself that as she didn't know anything else and she liked the sound of it, even if the other dragons would laugh at her name. Olive likes to hid under leaves and she can stay perfectly still, even slowing down her breathing. She isn't that playful but wants to play during the evenings as her father was a Sunset dragon and her mother an olive dragon.

Differences in appearance: Her tail tip is a lighter green than her body and her scales have patches of darker green, mimicking the patterns of shadow and light.

Mate/crush: None, she is too young

Path they choose: PeaceMaker

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Olive can stay hidden for a long time and not move and can make her breathing slow down. Other than that, she can control leaves. She doesn't think that they will be helpful in battle but it means that she can find a hiding spot, no matter what.

Other: Olive likes to eat rabbits. Her father is a Sunset dragon, making her active during the evening. Olive was born nearly the same time as Moon and they became the closest of friends since.

Breed: Silver Dragon

Gender: Female

Personality: Moon wants to stop the war from continuing. She hates it how every dragon is fighting and killing each other. Moon herself rarely play fights and stops the game when she thinks she has hurt a dragon. She doesn't know what to do with herself as she cant be a fighter nor a healer as she has memory blanks and cripples under pressure. Moon is still a loving friend and is quiet but once used to a dragon, she is outgoing and sometimes even loud and makes you wonder if you even know her properly. She has delicate paws with a fragile tail and a gaze that makes you stop and think, why is such a small and gentle dragon out here in the war?

Differences in appearance: Her underbelly is a darker gray and her eyes are a blue/silver.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Moon doesn't like to fight but her friend Olive is teaching her how to be quiet and still. But when she has to defend herself or her friends, Moon can use her teeth and her small claws.

Other: She was born nearly the same time as Olive, making them the best of friends.

Breed: Spitfire Dragon

Gender: Male

Personality: Rei is a dragon of few words. He doesn't say much to any dragon besides Prince Akira and his partner, Usha. During the time he is quiet, he is thinking up plans for the Prince on how to win. He always follows the Prince, behind him and always to the right. He is the strongest one out of him and Usha. Rei is seen almost like the Prince's bodyguards although he and Usha are usually sent off to do duties. No dragon knows how they got chosen to help the Prince but all they need to know is to not mess with them. He isn't mates with Usha, they just work together.

Differences in appearance: His wings have sharper tips and on his shoulders are hard scales, used for ramming into other dragons.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: He uses his wings, claws, teeth and his shoulder scales. He can also breath blue fire in quick bursts.

Other: Rei and Usha are the personal fighters of Prince Akira.

Breed: Spitfire Dragon

Gender: Female

Personality: She wants nothing but to get Prince Akira to win. Usha follows the Prince behind him on his left side. She is a quick thinking and is the fastest one out of the pair of Spitfires and is the one who would scout ahead. Usha likes to protect the Prince and believes that he should be king because he was the eldest and the strongest. She doesn't like the idea of some dragons saying that she is mates with Rei. They are only partners in helping the Prince. She also thinks that Rei's strength and her speed is a great combination.

Differences in appearance: Her wings are larger for faster flying and her legs are longer, making is easier for her to run fast.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Usha uses her wings, claws and teeth along with her speed so she can dodge easily. She can also breath blue fire in short bursts of time.

Dragon Name: Velia

Breed: Black

Gender: Female

Personality: Velia is suspicious and untrusting, however, if her trust is earned she'll be highly loyal. She is mostly ruthless, not sparing almost anyone's feelings or lives. She is responsible and mature, not caring much for childishness and seldom cracks a smile. She's intelligent, and once you get close to her, her thick, icy-cold barrier will reveal to be a warm, passionate soul. She is also quite snarky, and a side of her no one has lived to tell about is her absolute thrill of a dragon struggling under her claws, no matter what age, smiling and laughing dementedly, appearing hellish, torturing and eventually killing them.

Differences in appearance: The yellow parts of her scales are cream instead of yellow, and her eyes are an incredibly bright emerald, but if she is in her other side, they appear demented and eerie. If you pay close attention to her, though, she is actually a sly-kind of beautiful.

Path they choose: Soldier of the Prince Tamah's personal assassin/spy.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: She is super stealthy, (almost) never getting caught when she is sneaking. She is also a child prodigy in fighting and killing.

Breed: Grey

Gender: Male

Personality: As a hatchling, Vasiph hasn't become the easily-provoked, ferocious creature the adults of his species are. Nevertheless, he becomes easily irritated, and dislikes proximity to other dragons.

Differences in appearance: Descended from dragons who inhabited colder climates, Vasiph has darker, thicker fur than normal.

Mate/crush: Too young.

Path they choose: Peacemaker

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Vasiph is weak and handles physical fights poorly. His skill at controlling air, however, is progressing quickly and he can already summon rain. Lightning and high-speed winds are still beyond him, though.

Other: He's a mature hatchling by the time the RP opens. I have no idea how long it would take in this world to reach full maturity, but I'm going to guess it's going to take a year for him to completely mature. Also, I have plans to develop this character and make his personality more...Grey-like as he matures. His elemental powers and physical strength will increase as well, obviously.

Gender: Male

Personality: He's loving and caring, but looks himself down, as he agrees to people's insults to him and does his best to fix it. Dragons usually mistake him for a girl, but he just plays along with it, even wearing girly accessories. His parents mistook him for a girl sometimes and officially changed his original name to Ayami after that.

Differences in appearance: He has girly eyelashes, which doubles the fact that he looks like a girl.

Personality:[/b] She has a crush on Keima, and craves for his attention, but tries her best to avoid showing him how desperate she is. She's very envious of Ayami, seeing how Keima seems to spend more time with him. She never really had courage to tell Keima how much she likes him, but admits to Ayami that she hates his guts a lot. Akalito is also bitter to other dragons, mostly the mature hatchlings.

Breed: Hellfire Wyvern

Gender: Male

Age: Hatchling

Personality: Maiko is acts a bit weird. He says things that have others just stop talking, having them emit an awkward silence. Mai can also do random things at times, which makes others think "What. Just what...?" He almost never smiles, although he blushes often. He likes confusing people, making them all dizzy on whats happening. Apparently, he thinks that there reactions are just too funny, which makes him either to smile or snicker.

Breed: Terrae

Gender: Female

Personality: Aspen is an introverted hatchling, only really conversing with adult dragons and very few other hatchlings her age. She tends to stay close to herself, seeing how both of her parents aren't around anywhere. And she'll very naïve about the war for a while, until she hears someone talking about the war or someone confesses to her about where her parents are.

Differences in appearance: Aspen has a total of two dark spots. A large one on her back, and a small one on her right foreleg. Other than that, she looks like a normal Terrae hatchling.

Mate/crush: None/Too Young

Path they choose: A Peacemaker, like her parents.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: While she's not a fighter, she is however, a natural thinker. When by herself, she likes to invent and do things in other ways. Of course, at a young age she might not be the greatest of inventors, but Aspen strives to get better as time goes on.

Breed: Guardian

Gender: Male

Personality: Unlike most Guardian Dragons, Silven is an arrogant, self-centered, mature hatchling who is preparing himself for war in Tamah's army. He is like this because his father looked down at Silven with disgust all his life, since his father caught his mother trying to get into Anae with him while he was an egg. His father blamed him for his mother's betrayal, and he went off into the army, only seeing his son very few times. Silven wants to impress his father again by training to be a great warrior in Tamah's army.

Differences in appearance: Nothing is really different about Silven, except for the fact that his wings are larger and the armor piece on his tail is smaller.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Silven is an excellent flier. While he has a smaller armor piece, he can still do some damage.

Dragon Name: Yellow Tip

Breed: Yellow-crowned dragon

Gender: Female

Personality: Unlike her other species who have sunny personalities, Yellow Tip is fierce and ambitious. She is determined to do whatever it takes to survive. Her brain is as quick as her tongue and so is her body. She can act cold, but she enjoys company and she enjoys a little peace, but Yellow Tip wants to show the others that she dosn't need self-pity and she is capable of doing great things.

Differences in appearance: Her yellow-tipped wings and facial markings are duller than normal Yellow-crowned dragons. The crown/frill on her head is shorter than most, but her long tail makes up for her lack of attractivness.

Path they choose: Peacemaker

Weapons/Abilities/etc: She is gifted in the art of healing and arranging/sorting herbs. Even though she has no weapons, she is a master of evasion.

Dragon Name: Cleip (Cly-p)

Breed: Blacktip Dragon

Gender: Female

Age: 2 years

Personality: Cleip is a bit of a tom-boy, but she is silent at most of the times. She is brave and well known for her acts in the army. She has great respect towards Tamah, training hard to become his most prized pupil. She will work hard and do anything to serve her future... 'king'. Cleip is intelligent and hard-working, and sly at most. She never trusts anybody who is not from Tamah's army. She acts suspicious about others, but is quick to cover up if even the slightest hint of danger is around. She has a thrill for adventure, battle and blood. Cleip works with no one and she will do almost anything to get Tamah's attention; to gain her leaders favor, she will kill without a second thought.

Differences in appearance: Cleip has a lithe thin structure with strong legs and well-muscles arms, but due to Cleip's appearance, some mistake her for a boy.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Has a black, thin vest with a leather armor on her thighs with a knife strapped to it. She is very good at stealthy, hunting and defense.

Dragon Name: (Prince) Tamah

Breed: Electric dragon

Gender: Male

Personality: He is very smart and believes himself to be the most intelligent dragon there is. He is harsh, mean, and very demanding. He pushes his soldiers to the very limit of their powers, and uses his intelligence to see who is the capable of battle. He actually does have a soft side, however. When he isn't focusing on plotting to kill his brother, he is very kind and softhearted. It amazes many dragon who have only known his harsh side.

Differences in appearance: He has a scar over his eye. His eyes are green, and his sparks are blue.

Mate/Crush: TBA

Weapons/Abilities/etc: He uses electricity to attack, and has almost limitless amounts of it. However, if he uses too much, he will die.

Other: Velia is his personal assassin. But could it become more than that? >B3

Dragon Name: (Prince) Akira

Breed: Royal Blue

Gender: Male

Personality: Akira wants nothing else but to defeat his brother in the war. He thinks that his younger brother is nothing but weak and should not rule while he is strong and the eldest and should rule. Akira doesn't do that much fighting himself, although he sometimes will go out there to fight. Akira only has a very rare soft side to his twin sisters but towards his brother, he wants nothing to do with him.

Differences in appearance: The wing tips and tail stripes are gold.

Mate/crush: None

Weapons/Abilities/etc: The outside of his wings have hard overlapping scales and he uses them as his shield. Other than that, Akira uses his claws to fight and sometimes his teeth.

Other: He has two Copper Dragons always by his side. They are sort of his advisers and personal fighters.

Breed: Soulpeace

Gender: Female

Personality: She is shy, kind, and very sweet. She was closer to her brother Tamah than her brother Akira, but she's closest to her sister. She's normally not the kind to take the lead, but sometimes she has to. She will follow her sister Kayla wherever she goes, and does not like to stray away from her. She hates fights and refuses to get into one no matter what it is.

Differences in appearance: Her eyes are a deep blue, and her feathers are pinkish.

Weapons/Abilities/etc.: She has powerful magic that sometimes cannot be control by only her alone. She carries a staff that was passed down through her family for generations to help her with that.

Dragon Name: (Princess) Kayla

Breed: Soulpeace

Gender: Female

Personality: She is level-headed and incredibly smart. She is very beautiful and kind, treating everyone with high respect. She was closer Akira than Tamah, but was obviously closest to her sister, Erika. She usually has to take the lead, but sometimes someone carries out a plan better then she does. She'll never let her sister leave her side if she can help it, and she loves taking care of her. Although she hates fights, she can't help going into a debate once in a while.

It was from that day on that Galen vowed to give a positive light towards others, despite she herself suffering from the inside. And all Galen wants is to live to the end of the war knowing that the land is now in Peace.

What she IS known for however, is her great memory, allowing her to remember various chunks of knowledge. But however, Galen's brain can only remember so much, so she can slip up at some point.

Personality: Fracktail is a very cranky, (and very old) Paper Dragon. He acts like he  hasn't had his coffee yet, just like any other cranky old man. He's delusional, likes to gamble with rocks, crazy, and is quite the potty mouth. He'll swear at anything without hesitation. One time, he was caught swearing at a tree for hours for stealing his car. And nobody even knows what a 'car' is.

Gender: Male

Personality: Fletcher is a kind individual, although he can and will get snappy at someone he doesn't know. He doesn't take failure well, though. Fletcher has two personalities to him, the two heads he has are complete opposites and occasionally argue, but it gets kind of awkward to watch. The red head is more outgoing, while the purple head rarely speaks.

Weapons/Abilities/etc: Fletcher has a knack for finding items and can sweet talk people into getting what he wants. However, his sense of direction is a bit warped. He also carries some gas mask-like masks and goggles to conceal his identity while obtaining weapons and selling them.

From amidst a bloody field, a war zone just hours ago, a dragon stood, surrounded by fog. So thick was the cover, that it was impossible to determine what dragon was cloaked by it, hidden in the white blanket's protection. This fog followed the dragon within it everywhere, never dispelling. Nobody knew the origin, but common assumption was that it was summoned by the dragon inside, the most powerful magic-user, the Last Wanderer.

In truth, the dragon was not the last wanderer. There were a few left, but they would easily get wiped out. This was the only one who seemed to be able to survive the ages. It seemed to be able to see into the future, what would happen. Where they just predictions? Nobody knew. Nobody would ever know. This is the last wanderer. There were no more real ones. A true wanderer was special, born with a certain something, that had to be honed carefully, as a single mistake would destroy that something. Many pretended, or thought they were wanderers, but they weren't. There were no more. When this one perished, a great army would fall.

Ayami walked through a forest to harvest some herbs. He quickly went inside and harvested as many herbs as possible, leaving a few for them to recreate themselves. His pair of pink ribbons on his ears were easily shown. I should head back so my patients shouldn't worry. He thought as he hummed a bit. He tried singing. "Fly away, fly away, try to find your way," He continued on. He blushed. He stopped for a moment. His voice was as girly as ever. "Well, at least it sounds nice." Ayami sighed.

 

Ayami headed back to his home, which was also his shop. He hummed the way back. He had a feeling though that something exciting is going to happen. But why?

Velia went out on her usual outings to hunt, for she liked fresh kill better than any other food. She crouched into the shadows, spotting a large buck. The large animal twitched his ears and took off.

Strange, she thought, Animals never hear me.

She listened closely for something, and heard someone in the forest. She glided silently along the trees, quickly finding the source. It appeared to be a white dragon picking herbs, a sure sign that it was a healer. She followed 'her' silently, watching where 'she' was going.

Unless this dragon had an abnormal superpower of hearing, she wouldn't be caught.

"hmm..." He stopped going back to his home for a moment. He checked on his herbs. "Aha!" He said as he quickly scoured around. He had almost forgotten a red flower that soothes pain, a painkiller. "This should become helpful later on." He smiled. He decided to stay in the forest just a bit longer before returning to his home. His pink pair of of ribbons 'danced' as he ran around, harvesting a few more herbs. He took a stretch for a moment. He relaxed and sat down to check on his herbs. "La la, la la, la la, la la..." He sang.

"Hello there," Velia greeted in a dark voice, "It appears that you are gathering herbs. May I ask what for," And to stall, she added, "And what each does?"

Velia walked over and sat down next to the white.

Ayami was suddenly surprised, a black dragon had appeared right in front of her. The black dragon was a female, and started to ask her which herbs do which. Ayami refused to answer. "If you really want to know, you'd have to be injured or in need of a loved one, or, become a assistance of mine to help my patients." He sternly said. He stood up and started walking away. He hated it when dragons just ask for free information about plants and herbs for their own sake, even though they were completely healthy, especially the soldiers. He stopped for a moment and looked back at the black. "Come visit my shop if you want herb information so badly. I'll let you on in for one little tip if you do." The white dragon said. Ayami has never said that to any of the dragons, but he made a exception for the the black.

Vasiph peered down the canyon and immediately regretted his decision to enter the camp from the west. The southern side of the Red Stone Peacekeeping Division was a mostly flat plain, but he had decided not to return that way because it was guarded by self-appointed vigilantes who felt a need to pester him about his activities outside the camp. The eastern side was a marsh that was home to several varieties of thornbushes, one of which sprayed a mildly painful acid. And the northern side...Well, there was no way Vasiph would be going there for a while. Normally Vasiph would have just flown in, but the outpost was protected by an enchantment that made airborne dragons' eyes slip over it.

 

Which was why Vasiph was about to risk his life. The canyon overlooking the outpost towered seventy feet above it, and Vasiph would almost certainly die if he fell. The only safe way down was a trail made of small rocks which jutted out of the canyon's side. Vasiph almost considered turning back, but a mixture of stubborness and pride made him press on.

 

Vasiph was about halfway down the mountain when his claw slipped. He had just enough time to spread his wings before he plummeted toward the ground. He frantically flapped his developing wings as hard as he could.

 

Thud! Vasiph hit the ground hard. His legs buckled under the blow and absorbed most of the shock. Groaning, Vasiph clumsily got up and noticed a small crowd of dragons watching and making noises. They were undoubtedly laughing at him. Ignoring them, he limped over to the base of the northmost plateau, where a protruding slab of rock jutted out from the side and shaded the ground. Under it, a Thunder dragon was engaged in conversation with a Sunstone.

 

Vasiph approached the Thunder dragon and shifted around. The Thunder dragon was the highest-ranking officer at the outpost, and she directed all the outpost's activities. He didn't know her name; he had only joined the orginization two days ago. After being provided with ample food–a luxury these days–he felt obligated to try to repay the Peacekeepers.

 

The Sunstone roared at the Thunder and flew away angrily. The Thunder finally turned towards Vasiph and looked at him quizzically.

 

"I would like to repay you for your kindness," Vasiph said, head bowed.

 

The Thunder dragon grunted. "Fine. Scout the area east of the largest lake. You know where that is, right?"

 

"Yes."

 

"I heard that there will be a clash for control of the area from a source I don't fully trust. Try to find evidence of war preparations. Return in three days if you find nothing," she said curtly. She seemed annoyed by something.

 

Put off by her shortness, Vasiph gave indication that he understood and backed off. He was hungry and briefly contemplated asking for more food, but decided against it and took off.

"Ugh..." Fletcher moaned as he absentmindedly rubbed his eyes. "Five more minutes. I need—OH MY GOSH!" The hatchling sat up and quickly brushed the dirt off of his scales. "I need to sell the weapons! To the um...I don't know where! Onward must I go!"

Fletcher placed his pack upon his shoulders, and began his journey.

 

Before he knew it, Fletcher had stumbled upon a forest.

 

"Which way do I go again? Uh...I'll go to the right for now," he muttered to himself. Ten minutes into his journey into the undergrowth, Fletcher felt a tickling sensation around his right leg, and before he knew it, Fletcher found himself suspended about ten feet above the ground.

 

"You fool, look at what you've done!" His purple half snapped. "If it weren't for your foolishness, we would've never ended up in a situation like this!"

 

"Don't blame me for that," Fletcher grumbled. "NOW, CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME?"

Ayami heard some voices, bickering to each other. He waved at the black dragon. "I got to go! See ya later!" He said as he ran off to find out who they were arguing to. He eventually stopped to find a two headed hatchling bickering with each other. Ayami stared at them. His pink ribbons swayed around in the wind. Oh, its a hatchling. He thought. Ayami wondered why they was even here. "Uhh, do you need help?" She asked, unsure.

Velia followed the white dragon, deciding to use one of her best abilities; lying.

"That's awful of you, jumping to conclusions. But your offer for me being an apprentice sounds... Nice." The black said, applauding herself for her performance. Green eyes looked at a duotone hanging from a tree with a purple scolding him. She sliced the rope hanging the two headed dragon, quickly catching him when he fell.

"Problem solved. Now, Miss, can we go on?" She asked, adding a pleading tone to it.

Ayami turned around to face the black dragon. Oh boy, another dragon who has mistaken me for a girl Ayami smiled. Obviously, he expected the black dragon to assume he was a lady. "First of all, when your being a healer, try to have charisma." Ayami said as he stopped to observe the black dragon for a moment. "you're pretty enough to charm a dragon." He did a giggle. "The rest.......follow me and I'll help you out somehow with your twisted sense of berries and herbs." Ayami said as he started walking. "Also," He stopped for a moment. "I wanna take that little two heads in." Ayami said as he stared at the hatchling.

Keima took a bite out of a peach Ayami had bought for the patients. He tried to resist into eating them, but it was so sweet! I'm sure Ayami would be fine with it. He thought as he finished the peach and buried its seeds in the ground. "Sigh, I wish Ayami could've made a herb garden. But no, 'the wild herbs work so much better than the one's grown in the garden!' " He tried to mimicked Ayami's sweet expression,but failed in doing so and eventually gave up. How does he, I mean, she do this?! He thought as he helped some of the patients, hand feeding them and reading stories to them to help them cure boredom.

Fletcher noticed two dragons, a black and a white, approaching him. The black dragon sliced off the vine, and as Fletcher fell to the ground, she swiftly caught him.

 

"Thanks, that really helped," Fletcher grinned. "Name's Fletcher." The white dragon began to speak to Fletcher. She (or was it a he?), mentioned that they wanted to take him in.

 

"Uh, sure," he replied. "That sounds nice. Show me the way?"

"Sure! I'll prepare food while we're at my shop!" Ayami smiled, and lead the way until he met his house, which was also his shop. "Ayami!" Keima came out and hugged Ayami. Ayami patted his head. "Keima, meet these two new guests! Guests, meet Keima Akigaaroo!" He smiled as he placed the royal blue in front of the the guests.

Keima looked at both of them. One seemed to be a bit...suspicious, while the other.....Keima didn't know how to describe. "What are your names?" Keima asked, curious. He looked at the black dragon."Welcome, I'm guessing you'll be a soon-to-be nurse?" Keima joked at her.

She was soon showed the small hospital, a perfect place to be... When you were in a mission to kill enemy healers.

"Yes, of course. My name is Alekto, pleased to meet you." She replied to Keima. They all seemed to be jolly, which would make her mission a lot more fun. The black took a look around, inspecting everything and thinking of ways to murder them. It'd add to the thrill if she murdered the patients too.

"You have quite a nice hospital here, I can't wait to get used to this." She said to them to explain her looking around. Velia really meant she couldn't wait to get used to destroying small hospitals.

"If you really are a nurse, you gotta stop looking like a male Hellfire wyvern." He gave her advice with a touch of a insult. "Anyway, come in so you don't scare the adults." He said as he went inside. "Why did Ayami tell me she looked pretty?" he muttered.

Ayami hurried around, telling kids stories, hand feeding them, and singing them lullabies for them to go to sleep. He quickly came back to drag in the split hatchling and the black dragon. "Whoever you are, please stop looking like a hellfire wyvern and come in!" Ayami said to the black dragon.
