Victini flew silently over Iron Island, circling back around towards the main Sinnoh region. Normally, this would have been a fun flight for Victini, a very playful Pokemon. However, Victini was on a mission. Victini headed straight towards the Eterna Forest.

A bloodcurdling howl sounded in the distance. "Houndoom," Miku thought grimly. "There's most likely a pack somewhere out here just waiting for Kuro to sit down and die. I can't leave him now..." She looked over at her 'friend,' wondering if he had heard the Fire-types too, but his face was a grey slate; It was impossible to tell if he even felt anything anymore. This triggered her to go back to mulling over what had happened that morning. She felt a bit bad about what she'd happened, even if Kuro had been a little too sour towards her after. Maybe it hadn't been Darkrai. Was Darkrai even real? Miku realized she had never actually seen the Legendary in the flesh. Not even Trinity spoke of a bad case of mere nightmares. But then, who had the second entity been. It was all so confusing to her. "I could ask Kuro. No. That would do me no good. I've already yanked his fur a little too hard."" She decided. She had gotten so in depth with her own self-quarrels though, that she almost didn't notice when Kuro told her to stop and yanked her back. He flicked his tail at a mountain that towered over them, a blizzard raging at it's peak. "Route 216," she said in a hushed voice. "The real challenge starts here..."

Kuro trudged on, despite his earlier problem. A Houndoom sounded in the distance, but he knew no Pokemon would just run up to a Legendary, especially if they were at a type disadvantage. He watched a Miku's face turned firm in thought. "I hope she's planning an apology over there," he mumbled. But she showed no sign of wanting to talk, which Kuro liked in a sense. Quiet was when he felt best, unless it was Shinrei he was talking to, but who knew what she wanted to do after last night's invasion. Would he even have a chance to talk to her again with this Suicune looming over him? He brushed the thought away. "I'll be with Shinrei soon. And Honoo, too. And once we're all together again we can tell those strangers to hit the dirt." A strong, freezing breeze interrupted his future hopes. He looked up to see a giant mountain ― no, mountain range ― brewing a storm. "Hold up, Miku," he said, pulling back the dream stricken Pokemon. "What are we going to do about that?" She stopped, looked back at him, and went cold. They would have to climb.

Jax looked up at Shinrei and sighed,

"Man this is a tough trip... Skarmarys, Krabbys, Kinglers... something for everyone! But I bet nothing you and Honoo haven't faced before, right? I mean, how long have you known each other?"

He sat and smiled at her, trying to get a conversation going as they moved on.

Jax's comment stung like a Beedrill's Bug Bite when she realized how he had left out Kuro. Of course, he had never even met the Absol, so there was no point in a lash back. For the emotional wreck Shinrei was, her greatest virtue was ironically restraint. "Well let's see," she pondered. "I met the original duo about, I dunno, a year ago? They've known each other much longer than I've known either." She saw that Fortee wasn't too far ahead, but the tall grass was still towering over poor Jax. Actually, it was the only Pokemon here it was hindering, since both Shinrei and Honoo had considerably long legs, and Snowstorm could fly. "Here," she said, lifting the little grey body up. "We're almost there. Let's focus on that instead of reminiscing about the past." The Gardevoir's nicer way of saying, 'shut up and stop reminding me of Kuro.'

Jax was a little surprised when she picked him but just went with it. He noticed that something about his question hit her harder than he intended and her comment confirmed that. He sighed and just went with it.

"Whatever you say Shinrei. Thanks for the lift, you really didn't need to..."

His tail wagged from side to side as he was being carried above the tall grass. His ears twitched a little and then stopped, so he ignored it.

((I'm in the waiting stage, Jax and Snowstorm could still interact if you made them.))

((Something to break the silence. Shinrei's kinda pouting in her little corner and Honoo is on his merry way with no more to do.))

Snowstorm

From her point up in the air, she could see a city. A City! Swooping down lower, she said "I think I see the city!" to the group. "It's not far away. Jax, do you want me to carry you so you can see it?"

Jax jumped down and thanked Shinrei for the lift,

"That sounds great! Pick me up!"

He laughed to himself thinking that she might swoop down and pick him up by her feet. He then remembered something.

"Is there anything else flying up there?"

Honoo couldn't help but overhear Jax. "I wouldn't say. Not anything dangerous, anyways. We sent that Skarmory packing, and the only other real aerial threat here is Tropius, but they're pretty benevolent." He picked up a big strand of grass and began whistling. Shinrei remarked that that song always made her sad.

Shark watched as the Porygon-Z took Vio's glasses, wore them and ran around, only to bump into several things. "Great.....That's well....great...." He said sarcastically. The garchomp wondered how long he would have to stick around with JOI. "I really hope he gets character development..." He sighed at Vio. He didn't want the boy grow up to be a timid an dependent man. "I also want some character development from...." He turned to face JOI. "....Its self explanatory." He told himself.

"Here," JOI said, giving Vio back his glasses. "I don't think they're that interesting, even though they were! So your house? We have to go there. Hurry! We'll be late for the thing!" He started zipping impatiently in a circle before stopping and then starting again. He observed that Vio had been slower paced without the glasses. Maybe they did serve a purpose. "I'll have to tell that to Silph," JOI noted, completely unknowing of what glasses were for.

As she and Kuro looked up from the bottom to the peak of the huge mountain, a howling, icy wind seemed to roar its challenge to Miku. She cringed, but refused to turn back. "Come on Kuro," she said. "We have to keep moving. If we stop now the storm will only get worse." He nodded and followed her. As the two headed further up, the wind only got stronger. With an entire mountain to roll down, it was no wonder why, but it was still an unpleasant ordeal. Occasionally she would have to pick her companion Absol up, his broken leg often giving way to the powerful gale. But no matter how many times she lifted him and sent him upward, he'd fall again. She sighed and mounted him on her back. It wasn't easy carrying him such a long distance, but they were going faster. Soon she saw a cave come into view. "Kuro, look! A cave! We can rest there until this storm dies down." He shifted a little in response, but didn't reply. She dragged herself up further until she thought she would die from exhaustion. Finally, though, she had made it to the gaping hole in the face of the mountain. Miku climbed in and fell flatly on her side. Nothing would rouse her at this point. Except maybe the familiar, now much louder howls coming from deeper in the cave.

Kuro listened for a moment to the ferocious wind. His horn twitched in aggravation. If that meant Miku was going to fall off the mountain he might as well kill himself now, but he made no noticeable indication of this. His escort beckoned him to follow and he did. "This now, this will be fun." He grumbled to himself. Nothing got better, either. As the storm became angrier, his leg gave way more and more often. Miku helped him up, but it often just proved fruitless. By the next minute he had fallen down again. After a while the Suicune had to pick him up. He had never felt more indignant, but didn't protest. He began to drift off into a semiconscious state. Then Miku started getting excited about something. Something about a cave. He didn't really quite hear. But soon, as said, they were in a cave. The time it took to get there seemed to have not even existed he was so absorbed in his fictitious reality. Next he knew he was out of the wind and being dropped on a cold stone floor, which easily woke him up. Then the howls started. No, not howls. Language. "Gethrisj mojka!"

((I'll think of something for Hono (I was spelling his name wrong this whole time!) and Shinrei later. I'm too lazy to post another two paragraphs right now though.))

((Oh, and Silver? Could you actually delete all of my characters? After Muku/Gainsboro's makeover I'd like to redo him. That and JOI is kinda... not interesting. I go through fads with my favorite Pokemon, and I happened to be in a Porygon phase during the prime of this RP. The only ones I've stuck to are Staraptor and Blaziken.))
