Maer:

He nods and tears some meats from the boar, eating quietly before sitting back not have eaten much, but satisfied enough.

Lillith:

She leads Mari to a small lake that has fresh water. She nods to Mari "Go ahead. I'll watch."

Chess:

She smiles back and nuzzles his cheek. She looks around and finds a small vine. Using her sharp talons she pokes a hole in the shell and threads the vine through the hole. She ties it around Nate's neck and smiles, nuzzles his cheek again.

Namiko lay there for a while, mostly formed wings and locks of his white mane splayed out across the muddy ground. He didn't have the energy to do anything for a while besides breathe and let a hot feeling of shame and anger well up inside him. Really he shouldn't be ashamed at all but something about being helpless rubbed him all in the wrong way. He trudged his way through tears and whimpering before struggling to his feet. He was lightheaded and he was sure that, if he wasn't careful, he was going to lose every ounce of raptor and water he had managed to take in recently. Swallowing back more childish moanings, he closed his eyes in order to clear his mind. Turn it into something positive. "That must have killed a lot of dragons and dinosaurs." he forced a laugh. Always a good thing. Always a good thing.

Right now he needed to clean himself up and power on. Nobody had seen him get swept away so there was no shame and he could easily kill anything that had. He climbed over a felled tree. Most of the forest had been turned into swamp with trees and branches littered everywhere. It would take a long time for anything to grow back, if at all. It might remain this way and closer to sea, become a vast marshland. Namiko raised a wing to his face to wipe off the mud but then decided to concentrate, briefly, fade, and let gravity handle all of his hygiene issues. He should find something to kill. Or maybe he should rest. He didn't know. Instead of deciding, the yearling wobbled off through what used to be thick forests.

Novia stared at the trees in silence. She looked back on the ember dragon. "What's your name?" She asked. Novia focused her attention on the stars on her body, which were darker than the last time she had checked. She hoped nobody else but her would notice that. I'll have to limit my use of time... She silently thought.

Nate stroked Chess's cheek as she tied the necklace around his neck.

"I'm going to have to return the favor, you know. I'll find something better, just for you." He smiled before suddenly looking off to his left. There was a very wet dragon walking through the forest. He must have been hit by the tsunami. He thought. He turned back to Chess. "Do you know that dragon over there? He looks like he's in pretty bad shape..." He asked and pointed at the grey misty dragon.

Chess looks at the dragon and shakes her head. "I don't know him. He's a stranger, must've hatched somewhere else besides our cave.." She flicks her tail and raises on her hind legs, she puts her paws on Nate's shoulders and looks from behind him, a little bit scared.

Maer looks to the nebula dragon. "I'm Maer, and you?" He crouches sllightly and stretches his bulky wings,

"Novia." She replied. Her starry eyes stared back at the ember. "...Do you want to go on a walk?" Novia asked. She scoured around using her eyes. "I think we may be able to find something interesting if we do." She said quietly and softly. She still showed no emotion with her voice, however. "..." She stared at the trees for a few seconds before looking back at Maer. Edited by Jass

"Why not." Maer says calmly, spreading a wing to show that she may go ahead of him and that he will escort her. His runes start to glow brightly, and his eyes glow just as bright.

Namiko's ears perked and they would have burned had he not been so close to the source of conversation. His head swiveled to the side and he made himself more transparent lest whatever lay there decide to attack. What he saw were two dragons, both having blue in their scales. One he recognized as a Hellfire hatchling. He had heard an elder dragon refer to itself as such. And the other was a breed he only called 'silver swirls'. He didn't see many dragons anyway and so rarely knew what to call them. Should he continue what he had vowed to do so many years ago? That Hellfire would be easy to take down. A quick little rain cloud and a bite to the neck, but he wasn't sure about the 'silver swirl'. He looked stronger and if Namiko wanted to stay incorporeal then he would have to focus a lot more energy on keeping the other hatchling at bay and making sure his teeth stayed sunken in, and then he would have to deal with him. The Shadowwalker approached the two with an air of collected calmness. He might as well get it over with before either of these two grew up. They looked younger than him anyway.

Novia walked with Maer, exploring the forest. She walked right beside him, not slowing down nor going fast. She stared at the other things in the forest, occasionally staring at Maer with a dull expression. "Who are your friends?" She asked as she and Maer walked alongside each other. Although her stars were dimmed, it still grew bright in the shadows. Edited by Jass

Nate went into a protective stance in front of Chess as the dragon neared. ~I don't like the looks of him...~ He thought to Chess. As a precaution, he generated his forcefield. He hoped it was around Chess too, as she was so near to him.

"Hi! I haven't seen you around before!" Nate said, genuinely trying to be friendly in hopes that the dragon wouldn't see them as a threat. " It looks like you were caught in the tsunami, too. Are you okay?" He asked.

"I don't got any." Maer grunts.

Chessayia hisses and her ice blue eyes glow bright as she senses something bad about this dragon. She responds to Nate ~"He smells weird. Like Death. Be Careful."~ She nuzzles the back of Nate's head, mentally conjuring her elementals just in case.

Lyrith's eyes popped open and he yawned as he stretched. Seeming a bit flustered, he stood up slowly, this time, he used his arms to support him. He felt woozy as if someone had just dumped something on his head and left it there. He twisted his long neck around to stare at his body. He had grown in some newly fledged feathers and he had what seemed to be the marking of... a skull on his flank? Shaking his head in confusion, he immediantly realized what had happend. 'I've been asleep too long.' He padded to the entrance of the cave and shook himself to get the last ounces of sleep out of his body, causing some of his stray feathers to fly all over the place. With a huff, he went out to hunt.

Novia stopped walking for a moment. "Are you sure?" She asked. "Maybe you really do have friends, but you never really consider them as one." She added on. "...Nobody can live without friends." She quietly and softly said. She walked over to Maer and stared at him eye-to-eye. "Good friends will always consider each others as friends, no matter what they do." She said, surprisingly still with no emotion. "If you want, for starters, I could be your friend. But I'll never be a good friend." She said as she continued on walking.

Amarusu looked up at the dragon. She didn't know how to hunt! She looked at the water, and saw a few tiny fish. 'Mennos.' She thought. Getting closer to the water, she batted a paw into it. The tiny fish swam away, and she looked at her empty paws. Her stomach growled, and she sat there, staring at the water wondering what to do.

Namiko blinked and quietly observed the faint shimmer and whispering twinkle of magic. A shield. How very smart of you, silver swirl. After his eyes finished tracing the outline of the thing they drifted back to the two hatchlings. He unfurled his wings, sending droplets of water flying of and repeated the process several times before folding them again. He couldn't get to these two right now with that shield, but he would get through eventually. He decided that he could pick of other reptiles some other day but that these two would be his personal mission for now. He needed something like this to blow off some steam. "I'm going to be just fine." he replied civilly, carefully examining the two as if they were nothing more complex in his mind than ants. "You say I too were caught up in it. Neither of you look very wet or injured." he said, recalling some sore bruising he could feel under his skin.

"Well, only I was caught in it. My powers kept me safe." Nate replied. "I'm glad you're okay. I saw a lot of debris in the water... Anyway, we were just going back home- isn't that right?" He nodded at Chess. He was sure she wanted to get out of this awkward situation as much he did. He started walking past the dragon, gently ushering Chess alongside him. ~If he tries anything, you'll be safe, okay?~ He thought to her.

"I flew Nate for saftey." Chessayia says in her whisper voice. She glares slightly, two Fell Serpents, made from blue fell flame slither from the shield to look at the Shadow Walker dragon. Both snakes average about 10-12ft long. They flicker the fiery tongues and just stare.

Lillith smiles slightly and treads into the water. She spots a fish and spreads her wings slightly, and with a swift leap she nabs the fish in her wings.holding it in the air to let it suffocate before giving it to Mari. "Here." She sits in the water and feels her flames leaving her body as she grows weak, but she doesn't show it.

Maer shrugs but a smile hints at the corner of his mouth. "I seriously don't have friends. And I'm fine with you being my friend." He follows, his thick tail swaying slightly.

Novia looked at Maer. "You're my first friend then. I...guess." Novia said, and moved her focus from Maer to the trees. She walked along the random trails the forest had made with Maer by her side.

"Nate" he hummed experimentally, feeling the name in his maw. Thank you for being so off guard about your identities, hellfire. Not that I really have any way to use them against you. He narrowed his eyes at the fiery blue serpents staring at him. "You don't have to be unfriendly, hellfire." he said defensively. Were these two so disturbed by him already? Surely cautious, but so mean spirited. He frowned in distaste. He had no intentions of being at the receiving end of those. He cautiously followed the two at a distance, unofficially declaring himself part of their group.

Chessayia glances behind her and rolls her eyes, ~"I swear I have a bad feeling about him, I wasn't trying to be mean but you can never tell with a dragon...I think he's a shadow walker or something."~ She speaks to Nat. Flicking her tail she flaps her wings and folds them, walking on all fours. Her snakes follow behind her, in-front of the new dragon. She reaches out far with her mind to Soul ~"Soul, I hope we have room for a Shadow Walker Hatchling. But I feel we shouldn't trust him, I have a bad feeling. Confirm my feeling when we reach the cave?"~ She hopes Soul got her little message.

~I know. You can never be too careful. Do you think he will follow us all the way back to the cave? If he does, maybe he will be more open once he gets a tackle from that puffball dragon I saw on our way from the cave.~ Nate replied, a little smile on his face. He nervously felt the shell around his neck, and stole glances back at the shadow walker trailing behind them. I hope we're wrong about him... He thought.

When Soul reached her telepathic message, it was rather faint. She nodded with the slightest of movements as she processed all that Chesseyia had told her. Sitting back, she sent out a telepathic message to her. 'A Shadow-Walker? Hmm.. we always have room for hatchlings, seeing that the cave is big...' Soul thought for a moment. She never encountered another hatchling who wasn't born from their cave, this was going to be intresting. 'If you don't think that we can trust 'em, we can always keep an eye on him out of view, we need to stay low while we're doing it though. And we have to take this seriously, we have to be cautious now that there's a stranger here. I reckon that they're named Shadow-Walkers because they have the ability to move through solids and through reality? Then there is a high posibilty that he can make trouble behind our backs, and we are going to have to think outside the box if it ever comes to the point that we'll actually have to fight him. She turned her attention back to Zion. "Yes, just a quick walk around the clearing to search for anything dangerous." She padded over to a crumpled leaf at the entrance of the cave and she quickly scooped it up in her paws, folding it into a small, tiny basket. "And we'll have to gather some water on our way there, I just noticed that the grass in the clearing is getting a little dry, and so are the bushes that lead to our forest."

~"Alrighty Soul. He's following Nate and I. And by the way, there was a tsunami at the beach."~ She replies, edging closer to Nate. ~"Soul said that were gunna have to keep low around This new Hatchling. Be careful around him kay?"~ She tells Nate.

~Definitely. I just don't want him hurting you. He's got that look. Of course I wouldn't mind if he picked a bone with that Ember, though...~ He smiled, openly showing his distaste for him. Nervously, Nate kept looking back at the shadow walker.
