Posted August 2, 2013 The DC Photography contest number 76! Phew, we've had a few now, haven't we? For this contest, the theme is small. As an example, I've chosen this little shoe: The Rules: - One entry per person - Picture has to be made by yourself and can't be just a reproduction of someone's work. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra. - No manipulation besides basic photo adjustments (contrast, exposure, cropping, color balance, lighting, etc.) - No text or framing in the photo. A signature/watermark is just fine, but it's preferable if you don't have "O Hai Eye Hav3 T3XT" (or something similar) present in the photo. - When voting, please don't select your own image. This will ensure fairness. - You are free to submit an old photo; you don't need to take a new one just for this competition. Posted August 4, 2013 Well, this looks interesting. Might as well enter an old shot of mine. Hershey's Kiss I might have to get back into photography. I do it as a favor for my mom right now by taking pictures of my sister's softball team, but I don't do much on my own anymore. :/ Share this post Link to post
Posted August 5, 2013 I had to search through some old photos for this, but I couldn't think of anything smaller than these newborn Green Lynx spiderlings. Momma spider can have a body length of up to 22 millimeters (0.87 in). Spiderlings Share this post Link to post

Posted August 9, 2013 I think [this photo] might fit the theme a bit better than my original picture. What do you guys think? They're both beautiful, but the caterpillar one is amazing because of the detail of the legs and so on. :-) Share this post Link to post
