I'm new to this site, though I've had a little experience on a different one, so excuse any blunders I might make.

 

I've just gotten accepted by Psycho Cat, and ready to rp as soon as my character gets kidnapped.

I live in Australia, so my timelines completely different. I believe that the standard timezone for most forums is about 3 in the morning at the moment, though for me it's 5:30 in the afternoon. So sorry if I don't seem active.

And on a side note, BD (I call everyone by their initials now) Marley doesn't really have any minions, unless you count Darren, but Flamma's not here to use him right now. I should also be a bit more active today, but no promises.

History: He has always liked school where he could be with his friends, and disliked school because of the annoying schoolwork. But this year he’s starting to have trouble with the other boys in class, and he’s having “incidents”, and is being labeled a “trouble child” by the school. Now his only refuges are his friends who go to another school this year and his family at the apartment who have troubles of their own. His family is lower middle class, bordering on poverty, which Harris knows clearly but is only starting to understand the implications. He spends a lot of time outside, walking in grass in the small lawn outside, or going to the playground to swing; he prefers those small spots of sanctitude in the midst of the city where he can meet new people and see lots of different things, and prefers it by far than watching over his baby sister and little brother; he loves them, but they can be really annoying.

Appearance: Harry has black skin, dark brown hair in short dreadlocks, and warm brown eyes. His lips are pronounced, his nose a ski slope, and his eyebrows serious and Vulcan-esk. His ears are large and close to his head, the round tips just below eyebrow level. His jaw sticks out. His legs are long, his arms gangly, and he is 4’ 8”. He is slightly underweight, and has dark circles under his eyes that are somewhat hard to spot because of his dark skin. Harry wears a loose too-big plain slate-blue T-shirt that his mother absolutely hates because she thinks it makes him look grungy and destitute, but that Harry likes because it’s comfy, faded blue jeans that rumple near the bottom, fit nicely, and are slightly scuffed, along with socks and ratty sneakers that his mom is in the process of trying to find a replacement for, though Harry doesn’t really care what they look like because they’re just clothes.

Personality: He takes everything really seriously and literally, and he has a nasty temper that he finds difficult to control. He also has a strong sense of justice, and really wants to be honorable, but when you’re a kid, that can be really hard. He genuinely tries to be kind and considerate, but has trouble considering others. Harry appreciates people with patience, probably because that is something that he lacks. His attention is easily distracted from one thing to another, and he’s also very curious.

But in the political battlefield that is Kenya, there was always a looming threat of Siku being kidnapped and held for ransom because of his race. Ekundu's father saw this, and decided that when they turned thirteen he would send the both of them off to a school in America. Too late.

Appearance: Siku is the whitest African ever. No matter how many times he got scorched he stayed as white as the suntan lotion he poured on himself and his hair is sunbleached for the same reasons. Even if he didn't spend so much time in the blistering wasteland that is Africa, his hair is such a platinum blonde that it seems white in a well-lit room. His eyes are bluer than a baby's gaze, much to the bane of him ever being in sunlight. Basically, he's so white if you threw him in the snow you'd loose him. 
Personality: Siku can be notoriously grumpy, but also very insightful. He likes to think about things and analyze before rushing into a scenario. He likes to make sure there's the least amount of risk before he tries to do something inherently risky. He is the opposite of Ekundu in this aspect, and also a FOIL in the workings of his nner mind, Siku is empathic and often cares very deeply about people he doesn't even know, even if his cynical 
comments say otherwise. He often doesn't reach out to anyone but Ekundu but will if necessary.[/QUOTE]

From these games he learned all about strategy and even gained some very good insight on how the mind tends to work. He's not an eight year old to be taken lightly, but likewise he's still an eight year old boy. His father is often away on business trips but his mother is usually with him. Together they live in a well-to-do part of Hiroshima with one or two maids.

Appearance: Tatsuke has amber-brown eyes and well-combed brown hair. He's pale like your average Asian male but is about the average height for an eight-year-old. He has a chubby face that will obviously thin out when he begins to get older but is rather skinny everywhere else. It makes him look a little bit awkward, so he usually wears coats and long pants... except when his mom does the laundry, in which case he steals a towel, wraps it around himself and runs around the house claiming he's Ghestis. But that doesn't matter anymore, does it...

Personality: Tatsuke is very smart but a little quiet. He likes to think and express himself artistically, or better yet, play strategic games on a hand held system. He's very pure and kind and likes to make others feel happy, but when he takes a dislike to someone he usually totally ignores them. He can be rather proud and that's his second biggest flaw. His biggest flaw by far is lack of tenacity. When Tatsuke finds something too hard or just not worth it, he gives up. In conjunction with that, he also scares easily, especially during sudden loud noises.[/QUOTE]

trapped is getting off well, I'm glad to see the progress even though I joined not all that long ago. I agree of closing the RP from more applications (I know this post is a bit late), we don't want too many people, it would be chaos. Lets keep up the good work, especially cat for creating it!
