Hopes, Dreams & Goals

Hi! I'd like to hear you hopes, dreams and goals. This is for an art project. They can be from your childhood or current, and they don't have to be achievable/realistic. This presentation is meant to inspire others to dream and realize that no matter how small or unimportant their dream appears, it is still important and matters!

Someday when I own a home, I'd like to have a greenhouse so that I can enjoy greenery all year long. I get so depressed during winter when everything is brown and grey and dead.

My biggest dream will always be to open my own public library. I'd want it to be a really, really big library, with three stories, plus an outside sitting area. Inside the library would also be a separate large room for purchasing used books. I'd fill the library to the brim with not only as many books as I could find, but a whole room of Blu-Rays/DVDs/TV Series/etc. On the top floor, I might even install a small planetarium reading/resting area. I'd also sell bookbags and bookmarks. The Library cards would come in several different styles which you could choose from. And there wouldn't be locational regulations. You could come from anywhere and rent from my library.

 

It's really an impossible dream as i'd have to have, basically, unlimited money as well as the city's approval. But, honestly, it's the only thing I really want in the world. It's my one impossible dream.

My dream is to become a software developer of a tool for removal of malware and to become able to remove malware from computers. I'm already working on the second dream so I'm happy about being able to achieve one, even if the path to achieving it is hard. I'll just have to work hard though.

All my life I've wanted to be a bestselling author but I sort of gave up on that. I'm not sure why, it just started to sink in that it is an unrealistic goal...for me. Now all I want is to be successful. I'm making the best grades I can in the hopes that I can get into USF (University of South Florida). I don't know what I'll do after that, I don't even know what career to pursue. First I'm just focusing on college (even though it's four years away for me). Aside from career/education, I'm looking forward to meeting someone when I'm older, settling down, having children and a nice big house with lots of pets...it's a bit cliche but it's what I want.

It might sound a bit of clisse but my dream is peace and love exist over the world, and all people being equal. I 'm still trying for this and -I might be idealist- but I think that one day will be close enough.

My unrealistic, if-I-ever-get-rich dream: To live in a wooden cabin, small and cozy but large enough to have one BIG room for my own personal library. I would own enough acres of land that I would start an animal shelter/rehabilitation, for the more exotic animals that many many places simply don't have any means to take care of (I picture owls, lions, otters, etc), and of course a stable and enough room for my horses to run.

 

But really, right now my big dream is to be able to work full-time, find someone I love and eventually get married. .... Sounds normal and bland, but I have issues that keep my from working full-time, and marrying my partner is not yet legal here, so....

ii used to wish that when ii grew up, ii could move to a hidden forest clearing or maybe somewhere in the middle of a giant meadow. ii wished that ii could live in a castle, with one daughter, and a large garden and hundreds of pets. somewhere where it would almost always rain, and ii could feel like ii was in my own private fairyland. :33

Well right now it goes something like this...first off is to become a personal trainer which is more like a short term goal that's about to be achieved. Then is to pursue a fitness modeling career. And finally open my own gym/series of gyms and possibly retire to some remote location somewhere. Oh...and there should be a wife and kids somewhere in there as well

Hmm... A few things. To become recognized and well known as an artist, to have at least one of my stories made into a movie (big dream), and to not die of cancer, any other terminal disease or a heart attack D8

 

Oh, and to do something epic o3o But don't we all hope to do that?

And I'd also like to be able to make some sort of digital art that looks vaguely nice, but that's a long way down the road. X3

My biggest dream would be for somehow, some way, to eliminate the viscous storms that plague so many. Hurricanes and tornadoes affect and take so many lives each year. We have warning systems in affect but people still die. Finding a way to stop these storms before they get too powerful would be awesome, and save lives, homes, and properties.

My goal is to further my education. I dropped out of high school before completing year ten and it has made a massive impact on my ability to be eligible for further education. Not to mention the career path I'm interested in requires year twelve or equivalent, as well as specific qualifications.

 

My hopes? Heh, I don't know. I'm far too much of a pessimist to have high hopes for anything. I don't have any dreams at the moment either, though it has more to do with my lack of mental direction than anything else. Goal first, dreams later.

My current goal is to become a scientist - an astro- or nuclear physicist to be more precise. I'm curious how the universe works and if I ever get a PhD, I'd like to work in fundamental research and be there when something new is discovered.

Dreams... hmmm, this is a bit vague, but I often wish that I could be more creative in general and inspire others to be more creative, too. The most unrealistic dream I have is probably being a musician (not a pop star, though), writing my own songs and playing them at small venues.

 

But apart from all that, I just hope that I'll always be free and independent, that I'll recover from my current health problems and that one day I can look back at this life and say "I don't regret living it."

It is my hope to get - out of debt, rent a house so I can get out of my tiny apartment and get a new job.

 

My current job is horrible....I seriously hate it with every fiber of my being.

Wow. What an inspiring, beautiful topic.

I have huge dreams. Many/most of them I will probably never achieve. But if I do, and even if I don't, I will still learn a lot from them. And I will never give up.

My current dreams are as follows:

• To meet (and just possibly something else too ) Arsenium, the Moldovan singer.
• To learn to speak first Romanian, followed by Russian, Italian, German, Portuguese and possibly French and Japanese. (I already speak English and Spanish. And LOLCat, to an extent.)
• To get high grades so I can earn a scholarship, study the university in Bucharest, Romania and become a programmer.
• To own my own racehorse--a bright golden almost-palomino (since palominos have brown or black eyes and I want a blue-eyed horse) Thoroughbred stallion with white on all four legs.
• To get the novel I'm writing published.
• To get a dragon concept of mine added to Dragon Cave.
• To make my own adoptable site or flash-based horse-themed world-exploring game like Horse Isle, only cooler.
• To learn how to sing, play the guitar and the violin.
• Oh, almost forgot: To have the best Equestrian Center ever to be seen on Howrse.

As a child my biggest dream in the world was to become a wizard and an animator. I still really want to be a successful animator but that's not very realistic ;u; this is also kind of a minor thing not exactly a dream but I'd like to start doing video game commentaries or something someday. I'd also really like to be able to sing and play piano but I can't really do anything about that. Also I'd like to have lots of snakes and puppies.
