Raven moved over slightly when she saw that Epsilon was a bit uncomfortable with her being so close, continuing to watch the fight as she did so. She then saw Rakion at the wooden railing of the fighting arena and couldn't take her eyes off of him. She heard the fight continue but it was like it was in the distance instead of a few feet in front of her. She always felt this way when she saw Rakion and knew exactly why she felt the way she did. She hoped that he'd win when it was his turn to fight and also wondered if he liked her too. If he didn't then it would probably be a pretty awkward relationship between them but she hoped that they'd get over that awkward feeling and be happy together.

Rakion didn't notice the girls looking at him. However, he knew that he was an older lycan, so the women would be mostly after him. Suddenly, the two men fell apart in the fighting ring, their clothes ripped apart and bleeding from cuts on their faces and arms. He walked into the ring and crossed his arms. In his hand was a short bone axe. Another man stepped in, a younger man. His beard hadn't even grown in. Rakion grinned softly.

The two started to fight. It seemed that the man's favored weapon was a stone sword. Heavy. They clashed, and Rakion had cut the man's stomach at the last minute. The man screamed, and clutched at his stomach, staggering over to the railing. Some medics came and patched him up. Rakion watched with a silent grin and readjusted his wolf pelt. Rubbing his cuts and hits, he stepped out of the ring.

Dre winced and turned away as Rakion strided confidently into the fighting ring, defeating his young opponent easily with a deep cut to his stomach. Rakion himself only had a few subtle bruises as he stepped out of the ring, waking for his next chance to battle. However, Dre could not help but to admire the great warrior who defeated all of his enemies with ease. Would he be a good mate?, Dre wondered thoughtfully, almost doubtfully. He'd probably never even notice you, Dre!, she thought with a deep sigh. Even so, she would keep a more watchful eye on Rakion as he progressed through the fighting part of the ceremony.

When the other fight was over and Rakion had stepped into the ring, Raven watched him intently until a younger man than him stepped in to challenge him. She then continued to watch intently as the two fought, feeling pride swell up in her as her crush won the fight and then left as his younger opponent was seen to by the tribe's medics. She walked off the seat that she was sitting on and went over to him before his next fight. She wanted to congratulate him on his win this round and also wish him luck on his next one. As soon as she got to him she said with a light pink blush on her cheeks, "Good job on your win and I wish you luck on your next fight. Not that you'll need it but it's for just in case." She then smiled before walking back over to where she had been sitting earlier and sat back down.

Rakion rested against a hut. He rested a hand on his stomach, and saw that he was bleeding there too. Well... No one was perfect... Suddenly, a woman came up to him and he covered up his wound again. "Thank you." there was no emotion in his voice as he glanced up at her with cold eyes. Then she left and sat down where there were more women.

The red dragon saw the healer at a distance. Grunting as she pulled herself to her feet, she walked over to Xieri and roared at him. She hoped to give him a big scare. A big, big one. Uraka closed her mouth and snorted at him, her eyes glittering at him.

Epsilon rose immediately, rushing to the medics post. She couldn't just sit here any longer. This, she reminded herself, is why she didn't come to the mating festivals. Her hands were welcome when it came to healing. The healers in the tournament were widely males. They were the weaker ones who wanted to show off to the ladies in a different way. She focused on the young man who had just been taken down. The slash in his stomach was bad. Three of them were working away to staunch the bleeding and bandage it. The man, really no more than a yearling, immediately asked how bad it was. He wanted to go back out and show that he wasn't a weakling. Epsilon had no intention of letting him go. He was stubborn. She had to get somebody to hold him down and eventually, she had to promise to stay with him personally lest he go back into the ring and get himself killed. She felt the usual hatred for the festival rise. She wanted them to stop looking and fighting. Even this child was trying to get somebody since she wouldn't let him up. The drums were angry now. She was shaking with rage. What foolishness. To think that for a moment she had been taken in by this absurdity...

Xieri frowned softly as he saw two males a little ways off getting a bit heated with each other. Another fight would break out soon. He shook his head, turning his eyes away so he didn't have to watch. He was beginning to regret not taking his stones with him to carve while he waited for the next bout of idiots to show up with scrapes and bites.

However, his thoughts were jolted when a roar close to him rumbled through him. It startled him slightly, turning his head to stare at the red dragon that stood there. Oh... His heart steadied almost immediately at the sight of who it was. "Uraka, behave," he murmured, giving her a disapproving look. "I am working, please do not be a bother."

Raven had nodded when Rakion thanked her before she went back to sit where she was now and while she waited for the next fight to start, she thought that maybe she should have given him her name so that he knew who she was in case he didn't know her name. She mentally facepalmed herself and figured that she would tell him what it was the next time she talked to him. She didn't know when she would do that but then she figured that she'd do that after his next fight; whenever that would be. She had also noticed that he seemed to be covering up a wound that he had gotten earlier and felt a bit worried for him. She hoped that he'd be okay and last through the next fight that he'd be in. She would offer to look at it when he was done and see if she could make it a little better and bearable for him to continue and just hoped that he wouldn't refuse her doing that for him.

"You know what? It's none of your business anyway-" She stopped when she noticed the third hybrid join in. "Ugh. What is it? Be Stupid and Ignore Common Sense Day? I mean, let's all hang around the boundary and see how long until someone notices that we're here." She rolled her eyes and started off for deeper forest. These people were crazy, thinking they were safe here. Nowhere was safe for hybrids, but they were better off not messing around with the tribes.

She hated this time of year. Aki was in her human form, stuffing her face with the food and trying to remind herself that some god would finally remember to pair her up with a male. Then again she was the childish idiot of the village. Anyone who could put with with that was saintlike. She watched the red dragon and the medic, the two males who were fighting, and decided not to worry about it. Tahlon was probably looking for his mate, and she didn't want to be a third wheel, again. So she munched on a chicken leg and glared at anyone passing by.

As Javon walked into camp he morphed into a human and walked over to Sita. "Love, you are as beautiful as ever." Javon said bowing slightly, "I have your necklace." While he was saying this Javon slipped a hand into the pouch around his waist and puled out a necklace that had the first red stone as the center piece with alternating carved and no pulling up to a gold-painted clasp in the back. "I hope you like it."

[color=pinkSomni grabbed the bowl of sap and walked out of to see if any one could use it. Maybe Javon could use itshe thought seeing Javon talking to Sita. But I wouldn't want to interrupt so I'll talk to him after the festival. she then went back inside and set the bowl in a corner and put a cloth over it so it wouldn't get dirt in it.[/color]

Remy glared at the female as she started walking off deeper into the forest. "Then I suggest covering your tracks, that's how I found you two anyways." He says snorting looking back at the other male. "If she starts yelling then we will be found for sure." He states more to himself turning around and brushing his tail along the ground removing the tracks that were there.

Attempting to not gnash her teeth as he was right, Liara hated when they were right. "Besides. I wasn't yelling. Also, everybody's busy doing other stuff anyway. That doesn't mean that I like being so close to the border anyway. However, why on earth are you two here anyway? It's not like this is the go to meeting spot for hybrids." Why did they have such good points when they were just as noisy and annoying? It wasn't fair...

Remy stopped brushing the ground and looked up at the female his face neutral. "I don't think anyone likes being so close to the boarder." He admits sadly looking at the ground then quickly back at her when inquired what he was doing there. "I was hunting a deer, killed it, was dragging it home until I saw tracks decided to leave the carcass and follow them here instead. Not the brightest idea to be honest hopefully there still some left to eat later." He states looking back at the direction he came from.

A white dragon circled the camp, enjoying every moment of freedom he got. The mating ceremony was near. Tecum gazed down at the festival so far. He didn't particularly want to join in, but as it happened only once ever year... The Draykan gave a long sigh, dipping down towards his small home.

He landed, on his rear feet at first, before dropping down on all fours. As he walked, he became human. By the time he had reached the door, he was able to open it with hands, and walk inside with his normal shuffle. Tecum glanced around quickly, before sitting down on the small animal hides that formed his bed, head in hands. A low sigh emerged as he thought of what a disappointing night he was about to have. No girl he knew liked him that much, he didn't really like any girl that much. That, and he couldn't draw, dance or sing for his life.

Sita watched some more as the fighting increased, branching away from the fighting ring and next to houses. It was frightening, but it had to be done. It was only an once a year thing... No one would get that hurt. Not to mention that there was a lot of drink going around... So now that the men were rowdy on alcohol, it could escalate. Suddenly, someone approached her. It was Javon, and he was carrying a beautiful red necklace. "Oh, it's precious!" she cried. "Can you put it on me, please?" she picked up her brown hair and turned her back on him to make it easier to clasp it on. "Has no one challenged you for your position yet?" male wolves could fight the alpha for their position and mate. It scared her, but almost no one made a problem with Javon.

She saw that she had startled the healer. Cackling, she raised her head and glanced down at him. Xieri started to tell her to behave, and that was when Uraka allowed a puff of smoke to come from her nostrils. What did he mean to behave? Suddenly, a white dragon swooped down from the sky, and walked toward his home. He switched to his human form, of course, before entering. She saw Aki alone in the distance. They seem lonely, Uraka said to herself. Hopefully they'll meet.

Sitting, cross-legged on the floor wasn't the most comfortable place to sit, but it was OK, he supposed. His eyes were shut, his lips moving in a silent prayer. Tecum almost wished he wouldn't find a mate. He'd rather not have to worry about a female yet, but he felt the need to at least try.

With a sigh, he found his ceremonial clothes. Some laughed at how much they were like his normal garb, but Tecum didn't mind. They just didn't notice how little he cared for getting a girl. With another sigh, he changed into them.

Xieri frowned quietly at Uraka as she cackled at him. He turned her eyes away from her as she let a puff a smoke from her nostrils. "Shouldn't you be trying to find a mate yourself?" he asked, his hands going to organizing his tools to keep himself occupied. "It is not very healthy to be playing matchmaker while you cannot even get yourself into a relationship." His patience was running thin with the situation he was in to begin with. He was not interested in dealing with her antics at this time. "You already snapped at one potential," he said, remembering spotting the red dragon a little earlier. "You should stop being so snippy."

Uraka blinked in surprise at Xieri. He wanted her to get a mate..? A mate? Scowling, she laid down next to him and stretched her legs. What did he mean about getting a mate... You're annoying. Why don't you get a mate?

Tonight was very special. Even then, though, the male Beta was still in the hut. Just after Stern had left, he had pulled the blinds and returned to working on the painting. Days had passed, and what had been scribbles, poor drawings and things like that slowly turned into beautiful paintings that captured the main essence of Stern. Last afternoon, he was again alone, having gathered all his practices before him and looking at them. Slowly but surely, he had made the sketch by using different parts from other paintings that seemed correct, and the first black drawing on the white canvas seemed very skilled from what he'd made at first. Then, hands shaking, Angello was slowly applying the paint on the paper with small brushes, being careful not to get out of the lines. As soon as he was done with Stern's body and colors herself, he sighed in relief. Soon, he added a sweet light red background that slowly faded into white as it came near her, along with small effects in the painting as color difference, shading and such. In the end, he stepped back with a wide smile. This... was exactly what he had hoped for. In his painting, Stern was sitting on a small log with a sweet smile on her mouth and a happy look. As soon as he was finished, though, he quickly gathered the failed attempts and thrown them away, then turned the painting so it wasn't very visible. It would dry until he returned. Now, he had to go outside. Approaching the small chest of his clothing, he pulled it open and started rummaging through. Soon, he had a set of clothing which consisted of a black pair of intricately carved, dyed leather pants, along with a dark red shirt and a black leather vest. Buttoning up the vest so that it was halfway up and putting on some simple shoes on his feet, he smiled slightly and went outside. He breathed the cool outside air and approached the main part of the village. His eyes immediately went to two wolves that were fighting - they were already bloody enough themselves! Stopping them from fighting more, Angello made them get out of the wolf form and go seek medical attention while he went with them to the medic's post. After letting them go, strange noises from behind caught his attention. He turned around, spotting a young guy who had his stomach split open being helped by some of the healers. Approaching the young man, he looked at him and how he fought against the older lycan, wanting to return and fight.

"Listen to me!" Angello yelled slightly to him as he watched him, making the wolf turn around quickly the second he heard a superior's voice.

"You will stop fighting! I know that you want to find yourself a mate or prove something to some guy from your friends, but that doesn't explain you trying to kill yourself now. Understood?!" He asked, but didn't get an answer. He leaned forward with a look of anger in his eyes.

"I said understood?!" He added, and slowly the lycan nodded in response before stopping his struggles. The elder thanked Angello as he walked off, who nodded with a small smile. He saw one of the girls... Epsilon, no? She seemed like she had helped with the youngster, since the blood on her hands was definitely not normal and that explained it very quickly. Actually... she was just a tad older than him. Yet... he had more authority than her because of being a Beta... wow. Really, her clothing was desperately trying to get a mate for her. Some of the youngsters could try their luck from impressing to doing something bad instead, and that was why Angello was mostly here. Before, he was still like a guard in the mating season's nights and would often catch boys lurking around young girls or beautiful slightly older women, at which he'd either tell a higher autority or tell them to go off. If they were ready to fight, though, he was gladly going to accept. So nobody screwed with him before he became a Beta, and now they didn't dare challenge him. Though children could become nosy or brat-like... now that he thought about it, where was Stern?

Xieri turned his eyes to Uraka as she sassed back. He let out a sigh, leaning back as he folded his arms over his chest. His eyes gazed away, watching the others doing their own thing. "No one would be interested," he said simply. It was true. No one would ever get interested in him at all. He would even feel sorry for the female that thought it would be a good idea to try to go after him.

His thoughts were distracted when one male came stumbling over, a bleeding gash across his forehead. Shaking his head he rose up, setting the man down and began to clean the wound, clicking his tongue in disgust. Men and their conquest to get the woman in the end. There were better ways to end it than attacking each other.

Epsilon stiffened and kept her head down when Angello came by. She didn't know what she expected when he started yelling, but she was glad it wasn't directed at her; even more so when it turned out that he was stopping that youth from going out and killing himself in battle. At least she didn't have to worry about him anymore as far as leaving was anyway. A command from a Beta was not to be taken lightly in any terms. She glanced at him from over her shoulder. So this was Angello. She didn't see him much per the fact that she didn't make a habit of lazing around the tribe grounds while others were out 'doing their bit'. Then again, when did she see much of anyone else either? She considered saying something to him or nodding thanks, but he was already turned around, perhaps looking for yet more deaths to avert.

The gash stopped bleeding after a few more wraps with bandages. However, the boy was not to move or be moved. The wound could easily tear open again. She washed the blood from her hands in a nearby bucket of water that served as their sink. Luckily, none of the white fur on her dress had been touched. Epsilon had made sure of that. She emptied the water nearby, catching a glimpse of Angello's gift. He already had a woman in mind it seemed. She walked a distance and filled the bucket with fresh water before trekking back to the medic's post. Though she didn't like having to fix up wounds, it was better than watching them be inflicted by the hormonal brood. At this point she didn't know what to think of this festival. Maybe with a Beta around it wouldn't be so bad. Then again, his searching look said that he'd soon be leaving.

[Remember guys, they live like Native Americans. So no steel and they live in a one room hut. ;3

Maybe Shadow can have their charrie interact with Xieri and Uraka?]

Rakion looked up at Angello as he yelled at the little warrior. The boy let Epsilon tend to her wounds and he walked up to the girls. "Hello."

Mystictor looked around his hut. Uugggh I'm so bored. he thought I have nothing to do. I've made everything I've ever imagined and fixed everything broken here. I wish someone would break something already. He looked out the door into the camp. Maybe if I go fly for a little bit, I'll get some inspiration. He thought as he walked to the edge of camp and morphed into his dark blue dragon and took off. Edited by Flamma

As Sita turned around Javon's nimble fingers quickly fastened the necklace around Sita's neck and spun her back around and into his waiting arms. "No not yet, perhaps this year no one will be stupid enough to try." Javon murmured to her thinking of past years when young males would spin a delusion in which they could beat him. "Shall we go watch?" Javon continued tilting his head towards the sound of fighting and laughing coming from the festival, "Wouldn't want any of the fights to get too nasty."
