Though I usually wait until adult-hood to name them, seeing as I run a lot of different trades with my hatchlings, and it's easier to trade them on a whim that way. Not saying their names are meaningful either. In fact, most of my dragon's names are either downright immature, or a joke for other's entertainment [some of them are even just used to divide up my scroll]..

 

.. but at least they're named.
