...Eventually. Some have names planned from the moment I acquire the egg, and some poor dragons wind up waiting a while for me to figure out the right one. I also promise to never breed an unnamed dragon, and if I've inherited a continuing lineage I will do my best to keep the theme going!

 

Really, though, I makes me sad to see nice prize lineages offered where the current owner hasn't named the parents. Don't they know that lowers the appeal of their trade offer?

This, this is something I can really get behind. As soon as my hatchies mature I name them. The names are all fantasy-themed and on a purely technical level don't translate to anything. I hope that's okay?

All my dragons are named immediately after they are gendered

Definitely behind this, unnamed dragons just look so sad on scrolls. I name all my babies shortly after they've been gendered. Some of my names are ridiculous though, either due to not finding them good homes in time, or just being unable to think up something on the spot.
