Posted July 23, 2016 I got about 33% (total geek) on that first test. Can't say I saw this one coming. I feel like there's a bit too heavy focus on programming in tests like these; I'm all about things like archaeology and ancient history, language, osteology, and to some part archaeogenetics, paleoecology and GIS. I think I've earned the right to be called nerdy even if I don't know how to build my own computer and prefer horror games over RPGs. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 24, 2016 19.6292% Geek I'll probably score higher in a few years as I take more programming classes. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) The first one I called quits on because the formatting bugged me. But for the second one... I want to be a research geneticist, I'm good at Maths and Science, and I love computers and know a fair bit about them (comes with needing a computer to hear). There's also a V2, taking it right now. Link. Edit: Here's what I got: Edited July 24, 2016 by Dusky_Flareon Share this post Link to post
Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) There's also a V2, taking it right now. Link Then V2 result came out like this. Image replaced. # Edited July 24, 2016 by sh20000sh Share this post Link to post
Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) There's also a V2, taking it right now. Link This looks a bit more accurate. However, socialising is pretty tricky business. Perhaps I'm not awkward in that geeky comic book sense, but overall I find it difficult and often awkward to talk to people of things outside my interests. I'm not sure what to say. Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) Ouch... I guess it's because I don't know enough history, or I kept answering "Huh?" to questions I didn't know about Edited July 24, 2016 by JolteonTails Share this post Link to post
Posted July 24, 2016 I got 9.8% That really surprised me. When I was doing that...I thought my score would be lower because I didn't think I was checking that many off. Share this post Link to post
Posted July 25, 2016 35.something... Not sure whether it's higher or lower than expected. On one hand, I'm a professional programmer/sysadmin (of course I have programmed my own games), do text-based RP, and can name a fair number of tanks, on the other hand, minimal contact with non-web comics and TV shows. Posted July 25, 2016 Lol! I was put at a bit of a disadvantage for only being three years old in 1996 and having never really been into Harry Potter or Star Trek. 46.30996% Share this post Link to post
Posted August 25, 2016 For the first one I got 25.83026% - Total Geek. It's slightly higher than what I expected, though I guess it is reasonable considering I'm a fandom/bio nerd and enjoy theatre and acting. As for the other: Less dorky and more literature based than I expected. Huh. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 31, 2016 I got 16.97417-Geek. I lost points because I don't know how to program, but I made up for it with Issac Asimov, Star Trek and Doctor Who. Share this post Link to post
Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Quote the entire Lord of the rings extended cut (from watching it every year) and more then one quote from the hp movies should get me more points if they were questions. And quote other movies. We do that a lot in my family. I got 20. Something. I'm a total geek. Edited August 31, 2016 by AroaraAngelwolf Share this post Link to post
Posted August 31, 2016 I got 22.32472. Geek. I should've exeggarated and straight out lied to score better, just so i could also check those boxes . Share this post Link to post
