Moonlit Stream is: OFFLINE Welcome to my art corner! Some may remember me as a little forum lurker, and others remember me from DC’s chat. And very few may remember me from previous art thread, which resided in Multimedia section. Now I am back with my small art corner to do art just for you guys! Yes, you, who are wonderful and special people! And guess what? I’ve improved with my art! DC dragons remain free to be requested. I have so much respect for our lovely artists that I don’t accept even an egg for drawing those cuties. Other stuff than DC dragons... free as well. The things I draw range from DC dragons all the way to completely new things, which I haven't drawn. I specialize mostly on humans and humanoids, as well as dragons and some other animals, while my most favorite thing to draw are feathered wings. But I am not afraid to take on some new challenges and approach them with interest. For now, though, the only thing I’ll be doing is digital. I don’t have scanner that often avaible anymore, since... well... parents’ scanner got busted. I’d also like to mention that I live in Finland (GMT +2 timezone), so sometimes it just takes a while before I reply into anything really. He soon points the stick, which acts as his staff, towards the board on the wall with words: “Please read these through.” By requesting, you abide by these rules: 1. The rules of DC Forum apply here too. 2. You shall not use DragCave related art elsewhere than in DC forums. 3. You agree that the full version of the DC-related art is watermarked with mention of it being DC Fanart. This is to protect the sprite artists’ rights. 4. Posted April 30, 2013 (edited) The White dragon soon looks at the wall, as if saying that you should look at it too. The wall is filled with all kinds of pergaments. Here are all the DC dragons that I can and cannot draw. While we do have "The Official Art Usage Form" thread floating around, I’ve still decided to contact all the possible artists about the matter. I am taking the Official Art Usage Form with grain of salt in fact. The only way for me to draw these dragons is by obtaining permission for the sprite they have worked on. I won’t budge about it. Because art is serious business and I have high respect for the artists, who have done all these dragons for us to collect. And they deserve to know what is going on with their creations. (There are very, very, very few exceptions when I put them on “can” list without consulting artist.) While I have drawn some of the dragons before for requesters but choose not to now... last time I drew them for requesters in this forum was back in 2009-2010. Now we focus on this present moment with the permissions right now. We all have done the foolish things after all. I have spoken. Now off to the lists. Doesn't need to be nearly as intricate though, nor does it need to have those cuffs of the ends of its tails. Background?: -None The ninetales is complex already it doesn't need a background. Transparent please. Special wishes: - I love the red tint at the ends of the tails in that picture (same with the eyes I want them red), but could you possibly make the yellowish color this purpleish color instead? Also, I would appreaciate you not adding that staff in the picture. I am: - Sexier than Fabio himself (just kidding FLUFFY CANDY). PS. Your art is amazing. Posted May 7, 2013 (edited) My imagination went into cruising mode so badly that my sketching threw away all the plans that I had for Serce2's request. First I was supposed to sketch the library first and then the dragon. And... they ended up into same paper. Not continuing with it until I know what you think of this plan Serce2. Don't worry about the scrolls and books laying around yet, they'll be drawn on background when going through lining and such. And since I worry from copyright issues and such, I decided not to duplicate the sample's markings, but made a bit more original ones. I hope you don't mind. This reminds me... could you, Serce2, provide me a link or sample to the descriptions you have mentioned? I tried looking, but yeah... result was almost "nada". Posted May 9, 2013 Serce2 Like you mentioned in answer of fulfilling questions. A small descript of the dragon. Sort of like what Darkshadow had with his Animal Planet descriptions. So the sample of that would be appreciated. Tried looking around, though... couldn't really find anything. Dolphinsong Request written down and accepted.
