Frozen Comet realized that she was very hungry. Without thinking she snatched a flower with blue rectangular petals and instantly spat it. "What on earth was I thinking?" thought Frozen Comet. All of the goo that the plants use for heat was stuck in her mouth. Frozen Comet kept on spiting it out. Realizing that she should rinse her mouth with water, Frozen Comet flew into the sky trying to locate the river that was near by.

Memi

The Arsani hovered over the tree-tops as she watched the Silver dragoness glide down from the ledge of her cave before safely landing on the ground. Tucking in her wings, Memi dived into the tree-top, averting the branches and most of the twigs that whipped at her face as she then extended her wings again, catching an air current as she glided now over the landscape where all around was the shapes of tree trunks as she passed by the 400 foot tall trees. Squinting her eyes, Memi twisted around in the air before catching a glimpse of a Tonanik flock sprinting through the gnarled roots of the giant trees. Her eyes glowed a brighter emerald green as she contacted Ismene that she spotted Tonanik's and to be careful for this flock had ten of them. Getting a closer look on the flock, she glided 15 ft above the creatures, silently as she awaited the Silver dragoness to come.

Frozen Comet spotted the river. She tucked in her wings and dived to the river bed. Quickly she washed out all the goo and took a gulp of water. Then something slithered onto Frozen Comet's moth nearing on to her face. Frozen Comet jumped for it scared her but the animal did not seem to notice. It looked like a snake but it a a fin on it's back and it was crimson red. Frozen Comet recognized what it was but did not remember the name. Eyeing it, Frozen Comet stuck out her tongue and used it to drag it to her mouth because she remembered that it was edible. Frozen Comet thought it was delicious and a great snack put she was still hungry and she needed something bigger. Knowing that mostly small things live in this river she turned around.

Siren

A little closer.

Her wings shuffled and she didn't let go of the branch, watching the little rodent who shuffled through the leaves carefully. God, she was starving, after she had woken up on this weird planet, barely remembering her own name. But it had been about, what, a week or two? And she had gotten used to living on her own.

As the bush mouse came into view, she wiggled her bottom like a cat would do, her eyes going round to absorb the information. Then she pounced, without a noise, other than the squeal of a mouse in her jaws. As it's squeals of surprise and defense faded, she scrambled up the tree and onto the tallest branch she could, then up through the leaves and as high up as she could get. As she ate her meal, her wings folded and her eyes watched the sun. Soon enough it would be cold -- for no reason. This planet was weird, it was dangerous, but somehow she wasn't starving or too thirsty -- okay, maybe a bit -- she admitted, sighing to herself.

Siren hadn't seen another dragon since she had woken up here, a bad headache and her wing feathers clipped a little, but they had almost fully grown back and she could just barely fly for a little while. When they had healed fully, she would be able to fly properly.

With a yawn, she finished off her bush mouse; not particularily liking the fur on the end of it's tail, and slipped down into the leaves. She curled up in between 3 branches, which formed a simply resting spot covered in fallen, broken leaves and old bird feathers. There, she fell asleep, filled with dreams about bush mice, the sun [who strangely enough was talking in her dream] and a few trees.

Sampine

Ic;; A golden gaze flickered as it spotted movement, it seemed to be from another strange creature that possibly he didn't know, or was it that he was hanging from a tree and everything to him was upside down? Nah, nothing was upside down to him, a least he thought it wasn't... Either-ways all he knew was that this creature that was basically in the sky, wait... why was the sky green with tree roots on it? Maybe he was upside down... Grunting the Sweetling pulled himself up with his tail, placing his front two feet on the branch as he watched the blue and tan creature that he finally recognized as a dragon. What species? He did not know. Curiosity flickered in his chest as he watched the dragon maneuver its way up the tree with a mouse in its jaws, seeming to not notice him as it passed him heading for the top-most branch. With that he sunk his talons into the bark, the red feathers on top of his head rustling as he hauled himself onto the branch then launched himself to the next branch, landing with ease and continuing up after the dragon until he almost plummeted to the ground if it wasn't for his grappling hook of a tail. Finally he reached a branch facing the female creature, eyeing it curiously with his golden eyes.

Siren

Siren didn't notice the male Sweetling as she slept, her chest and back lifting in a sleeping motion. Only when he moved closer, eyeing her from a branch facing her sleeping spot, did she wake, without knowing he was there. When she saw the glimmer of gold in his eyes and a brown dragon, she scooted back and fell out of the tree.

She managed to get some lift from her wings and the fall wasn't too hard, but it left her a bit winded. Siren looked up at the dragon who had invaded her sleep, trying to figure out who he was. No, she didn't know him. Heck, she didn't know anyone on this goddamn planet. Staring at the brown figure, she suddenly called up; "If I was that kind of dragon, I could have ripped your head off" in a sleepy voice, with a yawn, but not taking her eyes off him. Seriously -- he had to interrupt the sleep she had lost in the past week? She'd been awake due to the sounds most of the time, and she finally found a great place... then he came.

Wait.

There were other dragons here. She paused and wanted to take her words back, but just looked, then slowly climbed up the opposite side of the tree, then using her claws, sat on the branch furthest away from him. She wasn't going to make friends, unless he was useful, and he didn't look very useful. Still, she was curious. "Which planet are you from?" she asked, and would be even more surprised if he said 'this planet'. She knew she was from another, but she couldn't quite remember which one. This would be home... for now.

[[ oh god Siren's gonna be so fun to roleplay. Sent in a second form -- I'm allowed to submit a dragon that's in the Dragon Requests, right? ]]

-Skull

Skull was not far away from these two (Siren and Sampine), he was just looking for shelter and being quick about it, but... He stopped once his eyes captured the silhouettes of these two. He stood quite terrified and gasping silently he quickly tried to hide. "No no no" He whispered, and folded his wings and got them close to his body, getting a bit of warmth from it too. He was eavesdropping but it was unintentional for him to do so, he just quickly tried to avoid them and tried to slowly crawl off from them.

Sampine

Ic;; Tilting his head he watched concerned-like as the female half fell half glided down onto the ground. Frowning at her remark he watched again as she climbed back up on the opposite side of the tree as him before he hooked his tail around the branch and fell backwards, dangling from the branch but still facing the dragoness as she spoke to him. Flicking his ears, Sampine pondered this question but then replied, "This planet I believe... Not sure..." Jerking his tail he began to swing back and forth, keeping his golden gaze on the female until he spotted another creature that he guessed was a dragon because he was upside down. Getting slightly bored of the female, Sampine jerked his tail again before releasing and landing on the branch below him sinking his talons in for balance as he hooked his tail to this branch and called back, "I sense that your grumpy, but I as only curious. Now my curiosity is somewhere else such as that dragon over there." He pointed and smiled slightly, she didn't seem too friendly but he did wish that she would be nice because all he did was stare at her which wasn't too creepy. At least he thought watching her sleep wasn't creepy. Either-ways he thought it wasn't creepy. A rumbling noise caught his attention for it came from his belly. Flicking his golden gaze around he unhooked his tail from the branch and leaped from branch to branch past the female who was on the branch above him to a plump red fruit dangling above him just out of his reach. Narrowing his eyes to a diamond-shape. The male waggled his haunches before releasing the kept up energy and grasping the fruit before landing back down on the branch shaking it a little as he landed and ate the fruit. Once he was done, Sampine grabbed more fruit, this time with his grappling-hook of a tail and brought it down in front of his face and eating it.

Siren

"Hey, you'd get grumpy when the colony dumps you here without food and you can't get to sleep at all -- plus, you're the first dragon I've seen on this planet"

Siren said with a yawn, turning her head when she saw the male point to another dragon. Two in a row? Oh, thank god. She was going mad without anyone to talk to or look at, and now these two had wound up here. It was getting dark, and she wondered if they had family here. Twitching her ears, she watched him eat the fruit and looked up. Looked like a red apples. She preffered meat, although she occassionally favoured berries and roots.

"Do you have anywhere to sleep?" She asked softly, "This tree has plently of sleeping spots" Siren asked, reaching up and taking an apple. With her claws, she prodded at it, but then quickly ate it up, partially filling her starving stomach -- the apple wasn't as good as fish, sweeter than rodents or fish, however. Siren moved a little closer to inspect a black dragon below, breathing in. Then, without a word, she scurried up one of the branches to the highest point on the tree, and sat there, watching the sun fall. Those two males could chatter on, but she was staying here -- she'd had a bad experience with a male once; her mate, and she didn't want it again. He had run off with another dragon and started a family, leaving her to die, literally. She survived, of course, but now that she was here...

Ic;; Sampine turned his head as he glanced up, spotting the sun slowly go down. Fear spiked inside of him as he bounded over to the female and called down to the black dragon below. "Follow below we get frozen to death!" His ears pricked as a bone-chilling howl pierced the air, and the male shuddered at the thought of Shakin's tearing at him. Whipping around he almost fell because of the gooey substance that was again growing on the tree-branch as he leaped from one branch to the next, then to another with one great leap that made him reach the next tree. Skidding to a stop, he began to feel the coldness of the night seep into his bones as the wind began to pick up. "Hurry! We don't have much time!" And with that the male continued cautiously but quickly from branch to branch until he reached a large hole in the side of the cliff where a branch jutted out and landed at the entrance. A bright light emanated from where the ground slanted downwards. Glancing back he lashed his tail impatiently, beginning to shiver violently from the bitter freezing cold of the night.

Siren

"What?"[/color]

Sireb asked as the male started to blabber about freezing to death, then leapt throughout the trees like a possum. He stopped at the edge of a cliff, a single branch jutting out with barely any leaves. Siren watched from the top of her tree, cocking her head. She'd slept up here most of the time... why was he complaining? Either way, she followed him, spreading her wings and flying [although she had to stop a few times due to being clipped] and skidded into the cave entrance, her stomach scraping across the ground as she tried to land. "Ouch" she murmured, looking at the bright light down the tunnel, yet she didn't dare to go to it... This dragon looked stressed enough. She sighed as she arose with some small scars, which would wash off within a day or two anyway. She just wanted her wings to be fixed. How dare they clip her wings... it's like chopping off a human's toes or nose. She could barely walk, with what, two arms and nothing else, so how would clipping her wings help? As she let out a grumble and looked over at the male, she saw he was shivering, and soon enough she was too. Her wings came down and the longer ones managed to wrap herself up, touching each other's tips at her stomach. She folded her small wings so they wouldn't freeze and wrapped up in a little ball, turning to see the dragon freezing even more.

"One tick" she murmured, getting up and stretching, then walked to the entrance of the cave [guessing Skull is in by now?] and covering the small hole in the side of the cliff with her wings [for her it was small -- she'd seen far larger], but wrapped her own body up with her smaller wings. "Better?" The cold was somewhat stopped, and her large wings were now literally freezing, but it wasn't too cold in the cave now. Still a slight draft, but oh well.

~Cadifor~

A flock of birds arose from a large branching tree screeching alarm calls. The branches were shaking as though something large was running and jumping in the branches. Then a screech erupted from the leaves, a cry of a bird fighting a losing battle for its life.

Cadifor shook his head wildly, something dark in his mouth, growling as he did so. He was perched on a branch and slowly sliding back with every shake. When he stopped and moved back onto the branch, it was clear that he had been shaking the life out of the bird, as he had a feathery rag hanging from his jaws. He dropped it onto the branch on front of him and clamped it down with a paw. Then he started to eat, sharp eyes peering through the leaves for other dragons.

Sampine glanced at the female as she made her way clumsily to the ledge here he was at before covering the entrance with her upper wings. Narrowing his eyes he flicked an ear his feathers that were on-top of his head ruffling. "How many nights have you been here? It's obvious that you don't seem too frightened of the night even if it reaches negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit. Now come down from there and lets head farther back into the cave so there's no real draft unless you go up a certain ways." With that he whipped around and bounded down [guessing the black dragon is with them...] the slope as it twisted once then opened up into a large room where a bright light emanated from crystals hanging from the ceiling. A small pond was at the back, surprisingly not frozen as he lapped up some water and padded over to some rocks, scorching them with his flame before laying down and waiting for the female to come.

Ruby decided to leave the Moonstone alone after getting no response. She saw a cave with a couple dragons inside, and decided to try and get a reaction out of them. After a little while, she was at the entrance, and saw a perfect little pool of water to hide in. She pressed carefully against the wall, then dove into the water quietly. She waited for a dragon to approach.

Sheraix ambled out of his den and clawed the sticky liquid from the plants all over it, making sure that no predators, like Shakins, could track his scent. The Shadow Walker glanced up as he heard voices, apparently the voices of dragons. Desperate to have company, yet slightly cautious, he turned into a few wisps of shadows, floating gently over to the commotion. He noticed a Sweetling, Blusang Lindwurm, and a Black. He shifted back into his dragon form with a mass of dim, silvery fog writhling chaotically around his body. He lifted his chin and spoke evenly and clearly, trying to sound as dignified as he could. "Good evening, dear friends." Sheraix paused and curled his snout into a warm smile. "I hope your day was uneventful yet safe..." He broke off as the howl of some creature - probably a Shakin - pierced the chilly air. "Well, now you must prepare for another night of harsh, frigid temperatures, yes? I will leave you to do that." But as he disappeared in a cloud of swirling shadows, he swept over to a corner in the cave and silently watched the three dragons.

Ismene heard Memi's call and immediately responded, devising a plan. "I'll go and pick out a weak or old Tonanik, then you can dive in and finish it off. It'll give a good chase, but at least it doesn't have very good stamina." She flicked her tail 'good luck' and sprinted deeper into the forest with renewed energy. She heard the birds' loud screeches before she saw the flock, so the Silver slowed her pace and slunk around the huge trees, pinpointing the area where the flightless birds were. Within seconds, she noticed that one of the birds in the flock wasn't contributing with the group at all, and it was constantly glancing down at its - was it twisted? - foot, clacking its beak with worry. Perfect. Ismene flicked her ear as a signal for Memi to get ready, and she leapt out of the dense undergrowth, pursuing the injured Tonanik with glee. Soon, she was fighting for breath, but her prey was also tiring with it's lame foot. "Memi, now!" She shouted, stretching her claws out to grasp the colorful bird.

Shakin - Raegis

Raegis awoke from his deep slumber and sniffed the cool air. The sky was nearly the dark navy blue of night, his time for him to go out and hunt. With a snarl, he prowled out of his cave and scented the air again, except this time it was for something live, something for him to hunt down and satisfy the pangs of hunger that were coursing through his body. Another Brutoanum? No. Raegis dismissed the thought quickly, he wasn't tempted to have to tear through the large beasts' thick, shaggy fur. Then grinned, but it was a cruel smile which revealed all of his vicious teeth. Maybe a...dragon? Perhaps a dragon hunt would sharpen my skills. Yes, I will hunt for dragon flesh tonight! Raegis tossed his dark-furred head high, opened his mouth slightly, and howled a long, chilling howl that echoed through the night air. With a gleam in his eyes, the Shakin raced down the slope and stalked through the forest, his senses alert for any sign of his desired prey.

Skull was frightened, when this Sweetling said such thing about freezing to death. He cowardly followed them until they reached to that specific cave on the side of the cliff. At this point he was just scared and shivering from the cold, but he didn't say a thing being too shy and in a panicked mood to even do so. Soon he saw the large room with the emanated crystals and all, this. This was a quite nice place for shelter, to survive another night. He wanted to say thanks to Sampine but was too shaken up. Then after some small while he saw the Shadow Walker appear just like that, he was a bit startled but he saw that he meant no harm, especially after he spoke. He nodded once said that, not minding his presence then. He then finally was 'brave' enough to not be shy once and say thanks to the Sweetling. "T-thank you, I-I don't know how I would've of survive alone...is this a clan of some kind?" He asked Sampine with curiosity, waiting for his answer.

Memi

Memi nodded slightly, even if Ismene couldn't see the nod she replied with a tingling sensation that she was ready. Her emerald gaze bored intensely on the Silver dragoness, talons twitching as she awaited the signal. Finally the signal came and a shriek pierced the air as she tucked in her wings and skydived, talons outstretched outwards to the already injured Tonanik. A deafening thud! reverberated through the ground and a screech of a bird sliced through the air as dust whirled up around the scene. As the dust cleared, Memi sneezed and flicked off blood and some feathers that were stuck on her. Wrinkling her nose in disgust she grunted, "Well... not the cleanest kill I've made but at least it's dead. Knocked the wind out of me though." She panted, breathing deeply until her heart began to beat at a normalish pace. Memi looked at the bloodied carcass, frowning slightly for she preferred something more tasty than meat, like nuts, or berries or fruit. But her favorite was walnuts for on this planet they grew twice as big as they did on other planets.

((Animals, Sampine and the others [besides the shakin, Isemene and Memi] are in a cliff cave high off the ground where one of the 400 foot tall trees reach out with a branch and touches a ledge. So she can't just slip inside of it just like that.))

Sampine

Ic;; Sampine flicked his ears at an almost inaudible noise. His golden gaze eyed a shimmering dragon-like creature, and it spoke with such dignity and pride that he was awed by the mysterious creature. But of course everything awed him, like a Shakin for its ability to survive the nights, a Tonanik for it's incredible speed, a Brutoanum for it's thick hide and curved horns. Even the female dragoness that he finally realized as a Blusang lindwurm was amazing for her two-paired wings that she was able to wrap one around herself and block an entrance. The black dragon awed him as well, or being so shy and having wings, he even surprised himself for the act that he was an excellent jumper -on account of not having wings-, different colored scales and his hook-like tail that he was able to reach things above his grasp. Sampine frowned as the magnificent dragon disappeared into the shadowy mist of night. Sighing, he turned to hear a quite-like voice that he managed to hear before saying, "No need to be quiet, I won't bite.... At least I think I won't. Eh, oh well." He grinned before continuing, "Also... this is not a Clan, -as far as I know of- and if it were, well then it'd be a very sad-like image of a Clan. With all the strange sightings of random dragons appearing out of nowhere and everything else." And with that, the male turned around and hopped up some thin -yet strong- rocks that jutted out of the side of the wall and sweeping his tail across a flat surface above that had rocks that when flamed on, can be used to keep ones temperature up so they wouldn't freeze. "Now you guys can sleep up here, and I'll stand guard." With that he leaped onto a branch that he managed to jab into a rock, hooked his tail around it and slowly made it so that he faced the entrance of the cave while he was dangling, upside-down.

He then nodded, hearing him. "If you want we can take turns, I can help!" He then said, not being so tired so he might as well offer help.

Turning his head, Sampine watched the female Blusang before saying, "Hey, Lindwurm, you and this Black dragon here can get some rest or eat some berries, nuts, and other fruits that I gathered earlier. I'll be on watch, just in case something tries to sneak in." Fixing his golden gaze on the entrance of the cave, he focused intensely on it, even if he was upside-down, he was still fully alert and jerked his head to a sound of noise where-ever it came. A cold breeze managed to maneuver its way down to the crystal-lit cavern area, ruffling the Sweetling's feathers, causing him to shiver and then prick his ears as he heard another terrifying howl above the night and a rough loud shriek of a Brutoanum, probably being cornered. Then more noises followed after that, more Brutoanum's and the snarling barks of the Shakin's.

I am on duty right now." Then Sampine turned his head seeing the Black dragon who he now knew as Skull cower and ask what that noise was. {Remember Sampine is upside down, almost like a bat but with no wings and his hooked tail is keeping him up} "Those are the Demon wolves of this planet. They are called Shakin's and have thick, shaggy fur that allows them to come out at night but not when it's daytime. Those loud shrieks and grunts are Brutoanum's, they are large creatures that are bigger than Shakin's and have two horns on their face. Extremely dangerous and hard to kill unless your a huge creature as well." Then he glanced back at the Shimmerscale and sighed "Make yourself as if your home, get some rest like the others and I'll wake one of you up when I get too tired to have keen hearing and eyesight." Sampine then focused his golden gaze back onto the entrance of the cave where one of the enormous branches touched the ledge of his cave.
