Finally. I watched it last night on IMAX 3D.

And yes Cumberbatch

But being the old cow that I am, and having seen the old Trek movies, I have mixed feelings about a certain part of it.

 

HUGE SPOILER AHEAD:I can't remember exactly the plot in The Wrath of Khan, so I can't say Into Darkness is the same movie with a twist, or if the whole scene in the radioactive chamber with Kirk dying and Spock yelling Khan's name was Abram's crooked way of "paying homage" to the original movie. I need to watch the old one again.

Edit: Just watched the old one. Into Darkness is a "prequel" of Wrath of Khan. And the "homage" with the mirrored scene was one of Abrams' silly homages. Get new ideas, for fracks sake.
