So many different mates, hoping he'd like just one. So many breeding attempts ending in no interest. Even flat-out refusal! Ten months old & not a single shiny to his name, & he has a two-person wait list for eggs. I have four new guardians waiting on the sidelines for their chance at him... he'd dang well better like one of them enough to throw something shiny! Remember this guy? Remember those 4-5 new guardians waiting in the wings? Still not a single shiny. And today's breeding was another flat refusal. Once this bugger produces the 2 eggs I need from him, he will never be bred again, & I will find a suitable replacement representative for his particular shimmer line. I hate that dragon. She has to be, quite possibly, the pickiest of all the shimmers on my scroll. None of the rest have given me so many issues. This little lady has refused not one, but TWO CB daydream males that would continue the stair step that is her lineage. Apparently, she just doesn't like them at all. She will breed with moonstones, but even then has ONLY ever given me one shimmer egg. Just ONE, so I know that she CAN breed true. >.< Very tiresome. That was August 2013...still no Gold. However, while everyone loves Golds, a Magi offspring can continue the lineage of this alternating wave as I have done here so I guess it's not so bad.
