Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Tidalious- Frosynas Tide changed back into "Horizon". He flew back into the air and noticed the hatchling eating frogs out of a pool. Tide flew over next to Maelyss. "Thanks for clearing that up. We don't need another pointless fight." Tide glanced to where Maelyss was looking at and saw a Black Marrow dragon. Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Maelyss Dusk- Alerinia He turned to face the Nebula dragon. "No problem. Is there any particular reason she was chasing you?" Maelyss winked slyly at Horizon. "And also-" He glanced at Memora again. "You know that dragon over there? I think I've seen a few like that on Alerinia, but I'm not sure." The Pink was hoping that this unknown dragon was indeed a native and not someone from another clan or a loner. He would actually have to get off his scaly bum and escort the Black Marrow out if she or he turned out to be a foreigner. Edited April 14, 2013 by Durppie Share this post Link to post
Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Tidalious- Frosynas "I rather not know why she was chasing me." Tide glanced at Memora once more. "That's a Black Marrow dragon. I am not sure if that one is a native to Alerinia. It's also coming from Delphian territory." Edited April 14, 2013 by shadowflash Share this post Link to post
Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) Tiama - Delphian Tiama's head snapped up immediately when she heard a voice greeted her. She let a short shriek escape her, but immediately recognized a familiar dragon she had seen around. "Err... Hi Miss... Memora?" Was that her name? She thought so. She stood up uneasily. "Well, I have places to be, ma'am." She decided to do something daring, since she was bored. She looked around to see if the others were looking and took off to go the same island the two dragons dove off from. Maybe they'll just think I'm one of them if I just keep to myself. she thought. I have to watch out for the ones who did see me though. She landed gracefully on a busy path. No one was looking at her strangely, so her cover was safe. She slithered along, looking at the sights of Alerinia. Edited April 14, 2013 by Onixthebunny1 Share this post Link to post

Posted April 14, 2013 ((Ooc;; I thought she was still in Delphian territory... eh oh well.)) Memora ~ Delphian Ic;; The creature tipped her head to one side as she watched the mature hatchling studder before telling the Black Marrow that she had places to be. Fixing her maroon eyes on the dracling, the dragoness twitched her bony tail as the young one took flight, heading to another island... possibly Alerinia? Eitherways, the female had more important matters to attend to, for she was incredibly hungry, but wait. Something felt... different, the land here was a bit too green for her Clan's habitat. Swinging her skeletal-like head, Memora ruffled her wings, glancing around, the marrow pricked her ears cautiously for she knew the Clan's have been at war for a decade ever since... well she couldn't really remember right now since she thought about it. All she knew was that the Clan's were at war over something that happened ten years ago. Narrowing her maroon orbs, Memora whirled her head around until she spotted an adult male Pink Dragon and some other that she couldn't identify. Clacking her stony beak she cocked her head at them curiously for right now she was getting hungry. Although it would be cannibalism... or at least to other species of dragons, she really wished they were dead so she could get the marrow out of their bones and well... The dragoness canceled that thought for she knew better than to eat another dragon, alive anyways for that would be cruel to them and disgrace her Clan. Instead, she raised her wings above her head and brought them down with such force that the Black Marrow lifted off the ground a couple feet into the air, flapping vigorously to keep herself off the ground until she settled down a bit and began to ascend higher into the air before heading to her little cliff cave back on Delphian's territory. Though she did wish she could talk to more dragon's, she felt that meeting those dragons would cause more tension between her Clan, Delphian and their Clan, Alerinia. Share this post Link to post

Posted April 14, 2013 (edited) ((Ooc;; When her egg hatches can someone please roleplay her hatchling?)) Memora ~ Delphian Ic;; An icy claw raked at the inside of the female's stomach, drawing the Black Marrow to a stop in midair just as she was about to reach her little cliff cave. Hunger drawn her to examine the now rocky yet somewhat green landscape below. A wonderful aroma drifted into her nostrils, the succulent smell of a rotting carcass. Narrowing her maroon gaze, the marrow glided over the land beneath her until she spotted the torn carcass of a deer. For her it looked like a feast but for other dragons that was not her species would be repulsed by this horrendous sight. Circling above the carcass she slowly spiraled down until her paws touched the ground then, only then did she curl her wings back onto her sides. With joy, Memora began to pick through the ripened meat until she found the bones of the animal. Cracking open the bones with her stony beak, the dam began to eat the marrow that was inside the bones. Swiping her forked tongue over her jaws, she scavenged for more but only found a mandible and one of the long foreleg bones. Saving the calcium-rich bones aside, she began to devour the meat until her stomach almost bulged out. Then she began to collect more bones that had been uncovered by her feast and stuck them in her pouch along with the mandible and foreleg bone. Once she was finished the carcass had small bones and some meat flung here and there as well as dried blood from the rotten meat. Padding away from the carcass and to the ocean, the dam slipped into the icy cold water to help clean herself off from all the dirt and grime that she'd picked up. Once Memora was satisfied with how she looked, the female crawled out from the water and shook herself before spreading her wings and taking flight, continuing until she reached the ledge of her cave. Slowly, the Black marrow landed and trotted inside to the bump in the hot sand where her egg was and burrow the bones she found in another hole where she'd been collecting calcium-rich bones for when her egg hatched. Posted April 14, 2013 ((Ooc;; Where is everyone?)) Memora ~ Delphian Ic;; Lifting a talon from the ground, the shadowy creature lowered its head as it began to uncover the dark crested egg that lay beneath the scorching sands. Memora made a slight crooning noise as she gently tapped on the egg, finding to much of her satisfaction that it was harder than when she last touched it. Carefully, the dragoness picked up the egg, cradling it somewhat in one foreleg against her chest and slipping it inside of her pouch. She knew once the egg was about to hatch it would be as hard as a rock due to the warmth of whatever was warming it up. Pricking her ears, Memora turned her head and made her way out of the cave. Extending her large wings, the dam reared up and jumped off the ledge, beating her wings against the air currents until she was finally balanced and was now descending slowly to the sand below that was baking in the sun's rays where it was low tide right now. Touching her hind-paws first on the ground, the dam then lowered the rest of her body and tucked her wings to her sides. Flicking her forked tongue out to scent for any danger, Memora then began to scoop out paw-fulls of sand, forming a hole and then placing her egg in it and filling in the spots where there wasn't any sand with sand. She did, however leave the top of the egg exposed for there wasn't really any breeze to cool it down and the sun would help harden the shell so it would hatch faster. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 17, 2013 (edited) (( Bump... Do you want to have a full-out battle taking place in Alerinia with all of the dragons? Just to add to the action? :3 )) Icarus - Alerinia Icarus stopped mid-flight, her shining wings pummeling the air around her. That Blue Nebula lived in Alerinia? How come she had never seen him around before besides today? Then the Lumina sighed and shrugged the thought off, still hovering in the air like a gigantic, shining hummingbird. You can't get to know every dragon in the world, right? she thought, rolling her eyes at her foolishness. But still, the Blue Nebula gave her an unsettling feeling that she couldn't shake off her scales. Icarus glided over to the ledge where Horizon and Maelyss Dusk were locked in conversation. She landed beside the two dragons and forced herself to mutter, "Sorry Horizon, I've just never seen you around before, and, especially with the war going on, we have to...guard our borders more...carefully." Icarus grumbled through the last few words and mentally kicked herself. Great. Now he's going to think that I'm some kind of lunatic. She shuffled her feet nervously, hoping that her gleaming scales would hide the blush that rose to her cheeks. Edited April 18, 2013 by SpiritWolfe Share this post Link to post
Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) ((Ooc;; I like that idea. Also Onix you can begin the hatching for Memora's egg.)) Memora ~ Delphian Ic; A wisp of smoke curled from the nostrils of the skeletal-like head of the Black- Marrow. Lowering her head, the dam eyed the egg cautiously for she did not like to leave it alone in the open for too long, especially since the tensions between the Clans especially between Alerinia were unmistakably fragile and dangerous. Lashing her tail, Memora fell onto her haunches, squinting out over the ocean as she wrapped her bony tail around herself, sitting as still as if she were only a statue frozen against the horizon. While she was standing guard, her gaze wandered from the incubating egg and watched as seagulls clustered together on a rock fighting over a crab which was clinging onto a seagulls beak. Posted April 18, 2013 (edited) (( OOC: Okay, I guess we'll have a battle in Alerinia then! So..I'll have to bring in Aerix :3 )) Aerix - Lavaila Aerix roared in frustration at an erupting volcanoe, which rained ash and smoke down on him. He merely shook the grit off, flashing his turquoise markings angrily. He unfurled his dark wings and glided high above the rims of the highest volcanoes, swinging his head from side to side, searching for prey, or maybe even an intruder. Seeing none of both, he sighed and flew closer to the Alerinia border. Lavaila is already well protected with the volcanoes and lava, Aerix thought bitterly, blowing a stream of aquamarine fire. They don't need me on guard. I'll die of boredom here before I even get out to the battlefield! He peered over the border of Alerinia once again, his face a mask of thoughtfulness. Perhaps I'll stir up some action myself...and prove myself a hero when I defeat those mangy Alerinia dragons! Then they will definitely let me fight in the heat of the war. Aerix's face twisted into a cruel smile, baring his sharp white fangs maliciously. With a burst of energy, the Spitfire skirted the border, making his way steadily into Alerinia territory. As he flew, he was careful to slink among the dim shadows for camouflage. Edited April 18, 2013 by SpiritWolfe Share this post Link to post
Posted April 18, 2013 Adrisea - Alerinia Adrisea carved for a full hour before she was satisfied with the thrush. It was very intricate, but certainly wasn't her best work. After laminating it with the sap, the Soulpeace washed her paws in the pond and took off. Her wings worked at a slow, strong rate as she flew skimming the treetops. The sun felt good on her face, and she closed her eyes halfway, allowing the wind to choose her direction. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2013 Memora ~ Delphian Ic;; A flicker of amber eyes jerked from their original place at the center of the Black Marrow's gaze. Glaring at the dark crested egg, the dam rose from her place just as a mysterious smell drifted over the boundary fifteen feet away. The scent was different, not like the salty smell of Delphian Clanmates but the more smokey smell of Lavaila mixed with the fresh scent of Alerinia members. Flaring her wings, Memora grimaced as the familiar sense of fear for her unborn hatchling squirmed inside of her stomach. Beating the slightly translucent wings, Memora reached her egg and gently pawed it into her pouch, glancing around, clacking her stony beak. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Aerix - Lavaila Aerix paused to shift the angle of his wings as the wind changed, blowing into his azure eyes. He growled in annoyance; he had never really felt the cool, salty breeze blowing off the coast. Suddenly, he heard a loud clacking noise which penetrated his sensitive eardrums. Aerix turned angrily, glaring in satisfaction at a worried-looking Bone Marrow. The Spitfire narrowed his eyes, flexing his claws in anticipation. In that split second, he dived down like a giant bullet, straight towards the Bone Marrow, who he could smell was from Delphian. With a wild shriek, he unfurled his dark wings threateningly and opened his jaws, revealing gleaming razor-sharp fangs. "For Lavaila!" Aerix screeched, tensing his muscles with the exhilaration of a fight. Edited April 19, 2013 by SpiritWolfe Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2013 Tidalious- Frosynas Tide noticed the Spitfire fly towards the Bone Marrow. Might as well do something and help Alernia. I will be living here for a while until I get my next mission. Might as well be the "hero". He tensed his wings as he prepared to fly. He flew up and launched himself at the Spitfire and grabbed the dragon. He bit Aerix and clawed at his wings. He roared as he continued to attack the dragon. Share this post Link to post
Posted April 19, 2013 (edited) Aerix - Lavaila Aerix swerved away from the Bone Marrow at the last second as a Blue Nebula latched onto him, biting and clawing his wings. He roared aggressively in response and twisted his body violently, snaking his head up to the Tide/Horizon's shoulders. There, Aerix bared his teeth and sank his fangs deep into his opponents's shoulder blades, raking his claws angrily and effectively at the Nebula's exposed underbelly. Aerix flared his dark wings open and flared his bright turquoise markings several times, hoping to distract Tide/Horizon and momentarily blind him. Finally, he let go and circled the Blue Nebula, blowing his aqua fire in a warning signal. "Watch it, Alerinia scum!" Aerix spat with a snarl, shedding dark, crimson blood droplets from his large wings. Edited April 19, 2013 by SpiritWolfe Share this post Link to post
Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) Tidalious- Frosynas Tide winced and shuddered as he lost blood. His wings were torn so he resorted to changing his appearance many times and attacking Aerix. He quickly dropped into the water and changed his appearance into a Deep Sea dragon. He lunged out of a water and tried to grab Aerix and drag him into the water. Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) Aerix - Lavaila Aerix, despite being caught in the heat of the intense and bloody battle, gasped in shock as the Blue Nebula - or so he thought - changed into the forms of different dragon species. The Spitfire was caught in a whirlwind of teeth and claws attacking him all at once. What?!? We were never trained to fight such an enemy! He grimaced and hissed in frustration as he pulled away from Tide, who was beginning to gain the offense side of the attack. Suddenly, Tide disappeared underwater with a gigantic splash, dousing Aerix in a shower of seawater. Is he retreating? Aerix thought in that heartbeat, incredulous. He shrieked with anger as Tide appeared again, as a Deep Sea dragon, and grasped Aerix's leg and pulled him under forcefully. He sucked in one, quick breath before a mass of foam and water engulfed him, wondering frantically if it would be his last. Aerix thrashed his legs, neck, wings - anything! - as he attempted to free himself. He was being dragged deeper and deeper and the pressure was getting agonized as it compressed his body, snapping a bone in his left wing with a ccrraaackk. Aerix screeched in pain and terror, letting out a torrent of bubbles. Edited April 20, 2013 by SpiritWolfe Share this post Link to post
Posted April 20, 2013 (edited) Memora ~ Delphian Despite the Spitfire's strange appearance and attempting to attack her from the sky and then another dragon, even more mysterious flashed quickly through a series of different dragon species. Even though she despised the spitfire for trying to attack her, Memora felt an instinct tug at her. Before she knew it, her wings were flared and she quickly pulled her third eyelid over her eyes, and everything suddenly went almost black. Her egg would be safe since the hide was tough around her pouch and also was tight enough so after wouldn't get in. Clamping her beak shut, the skeletal-like female sucked in air and leaped off one of the boulders. Stretching her front fre-paws forward, Memora stroked her way after the quickly sinking Spitfire and the now Deep-Sea Dragon using her tail to help direct herself faster to the male Lavaila. Small bubbles trickled lazily away from her nostrils for she was adapted to this watery-like life and could hold her breath for quite some time, but... not forever. Grunting, the Black Marrow dragoness kicked harder to swim past the spitfire to unlock the dragon's death grip on the Lavailia member. After quite some time, and now medium-sized bubbles began to spiral up, she finally detached the dragon from the other and shoved the Spitfire upwards as she began to ascend from the dark-like watery void.
