I clicked on TJ's Vals (Technically in cave) (twice)

 

The Thuwed list in his sig ("has all the answers [yeah, I know-reaching]) (twice)

 

Any other ideas?

Maybe be logged into the Cave AND the Forum at the same time?

 

I always have two windows open in my browser, one for the Cave, and one for the Forums, so I can bop between them easily. I dunno.

Don't think it's that -- I do that too (yay, shared forumite habits!).

What do you do from the forums to access the cave?

Riverwillows mentioned that she was all over TJ's V-Day eggs like 'snot on a windshield' the day she received her flower. A non-forum goer would probably not click on his eggs as his scroll is hidden.

 

....But how this actually means something is beyond my capacity to figure out.

Things I've tried:

 

Accessing the cave through the main page

Clicking on each biome using only the map

Going to /user/Varekis and clicking the vase from there

Clicking "Site home" to get to DC from the forum

Looked at the action log, help page, breed limits, account settings

Clicking the links in TJ's post

Cycled through my V'Day cards from last year (a verrrry random hunch =p)

I have checked tj eggs and hatchies numerous times and I do not have the flower, so meh, mabye you have to be viewer xxxxxx....lol.

I know i was just wondering if it had anything to do with it.

To save people from mistakenly trying it and driving themselves crazy: It has nothing to do with naming/renaming dragons.

I have an Idea about this whole "flower" thing, this holiday is all about love, what if you just have to breed dragons to get randomly selected?

I didn't breed dragons that day. I didn't try to send a flower to TJ either.

I never said anything about a connection, just that the hint lies in something that is in-cave that can also been seen on the forums.

And now we fill the AP to next Tuesday with new bred eggs.

 

I have never been good at this type of thing. I have come to the conclusion that the dispersal is entirely random. If you get one, you are the equivalent of a lottery winner. Now, I give up. I'm going to go play solitaire and gift out some more eggs. Done.
