Least Favorite Songs

Recommended Posts

So just post what individual songs that you hate (They could be from a band you don't like, or songs that are played to much on the radio, or whatever) Everyone has their own taste, so no arguing or being mean about what someone posts, okay? Let people have their opinions. No ranting either.

I dislike

Some Nights- Fun. (It's played on the radio way to much)

One More Night- Maroon 5 (Same reason as above)

Sweet Nothing- Calvin Harris ft. Florence Welch (The singers voice annoys me)

As Long as You Love Me- Justin Bieber and Big Sean

Thrift Shop- Macklemore and Ryan Lewis ft. Wanz

And a few more....

Mer, I'm not a huge fan of any One Direction or Maroon 5 stuff. It's too mainstream and gets on my nerves a bunch.

I'm more of a rocker.

Gangnam Style drives me nuts. As does everything else I first heard on a summer camp disco, including Party Rock Anthem. *is a grump*

Generally I'll just let everyone listen to whatever they like, as long as it's not in my face. (The aforementioned two most definitely are. dry.gif) At least I recently found a nice rock/metal radio station, so the radio is no longer a problem of mine happy.gif

97% of today's popular songs, this includes in my country's.

I can even see my future niece (since I will not marry or have children):

Niece: *listening to 2010-2020 songs* Hey, Aunt, do you know those old songs?

Me: Yeah, I do. Where did you find them? xd.png

Niece: Wow, those sound really different! Do you like them? :3

Me: Hmm, I can't say so. I'm not a fan of music of my generation in general. I like the 80-90s music best!

Niece: 80s? 90s? How old are you?! 60?

Me: No, I'm 45 smile.gif

(Today I'm a teenage. lol)

I agree with everyone else on this thread that most English pop music is terrible, with the exception of Owl City and a few people like Adele and Olly Murs who are vaguely tolerable. I mostly listen to Japanese pop music (well, just Vocaloids actually) and a little bit of '80s stuff like Ian Dury and Madness. But the worst song of all time is probably Live While We're Young by One Direction

AAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGGHHH NOW IT'S STUCK IN MY HEAD

Anyway, anything by Justin Bieber, One Direction, Rhinnah or Beyoncé is always dreadful. Oh, and Just Give Me A Reason by P!nk and that guy from fun. is terrible even though I usually don't mind P!nk or fun.

I've found that I dislike Someone Like You by Adele. The song itself is alright and I've found great covers, but the way she sings the chorus really grates on my oversensitive ears. And of course the song is now everywhere >_<

The song that I currently dislike is Bonfire. It is way to repetitive and it can get stuck in your head really easily.

Boyfriend - Justin Bieber.

What even is that crap? My favourite lines are "swag, swag, swag on you, chillin' by the fire while we eatin' fondu" and "swaggie". Seriously? The song was written by like 5 professional songwriters, none of them Bieber, and none of them thought this was bad? I refuse to believe that. I think they knew it was terrible, and let him sing it as a joke xd.png

I'm not a fan of Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift or anybody like that.

Industrial and metal are my kind of thing.

I like absolutely NOTHING I hear on normal radios, and really the only way to listen to the songs I like is to go on Youtube or a Japanese radio.

Any Justin Bieber or Nicki Minaj song. And any Mainstream Media song that doesn't give a meaningful message (example: Blurred Lines). Most rap as well.

I love it when like minded groups of people get together and start hating. XD

I can't stand Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, Fun, the list goes on...In fact, if I want good music I go on YouTube. Old songs from the 60-90s are great, and Vocaloid. There are only a few groups nowadays that I like and will willingly listen to.

Anything by Justin Bieber or Maroon 5, all that stuff gets overplayed.

One Thing by One Direction (God this is shocking, seeing I'm a Directioner), it's just not that catchy and a bajillion people still sing it.

22 by Taylor Swift, overplayed, and the high parts hurt my head.
