For point adjustments for the thread I've done some tracking on the AP and the Biomes this past week to get a sense of rarities. Here are my results:

Most common (biomes and AP)

Imperial Fleshcrownes

Common (biomes and AP)

Terraes

Mints

Greens/Pebbles

Canopies

Gold-Horned Tangars

Olivines

Uncommon (biomes and AP)

Bright-Breasted Wyverns

Neotropicals

Water Walkers

Misfit Pygmies

The Water Walkers had the most fluctuation; sometimes the AP would be flooded, and sometimes I wouldn't see them for days.

Thanks for your patience, everyone. I wanted to track them over at least a week to get a sense of population numbers.

I would like to apologize for my unannounced absence- I hit an unexpected internet issue and was unable to connect at all for nearly a week. However, I'm back now, and will be updating whenever needed!

And thank you purpledragonclaw! It's great to have a better idea of the current rarities of breeds, shows that our work might be starting to pay off! We might even have to temporarily remove a few breeds if they get too uncommon, huh?

Purpledragonclaw, thanks for doing all that work! I know I'd certainly be too lazy to do it. My only question is about the Neotropicals--Are you sure they're less common than Olivines and Tangars? It seems like there's always at least one in the AP, while I can go a while without seeing an Olivine or Tangar.

Tiga, IMO the first page is already a little messy as it is, and I'd like to keep things as uncluttered as possible. What does everyone else think?

Anyway, has anything happened regarding CP prize lists? If not, can I offer input? I was thinking about 1 point for most commons. For uncommons (Actual uncommons, I mean, not the "uncommon" common dragons on Purpledragonclaw's list), maybe 5-25 depending on the rarity? Some uncommons are more uncommon than others, so I don't think it's quite fair to have them all at the same price. So they would be like the system we already have.

Um that idea I like! *presses like* It would speed up the prize points too, and people may start gifting the prizes once they see the requests. Any other opinions on this?

SoulFang, I agree, if some breeds become too uncommon that they should be removed. I love to think that this project makes that much of a difference on the ratios.

Greatguy, I placed Neotropicals where I did because most often when I tracked the biomes and the AP, I would see at least one or two Tangars or Olivines in their biomes, as compared to maybe one Neotropical. The same was true in the AP. I've noticed Neotropicals can flood the AP like Water Walkers, but I haven't seen that happen lately. I also agree with you on assigning different point values to breeds based on their current rarity. Some dragons are definitely more common than others. I'm still having trouble catching a CB Golden Wyvern for SoulFang.

Tiga, I agree with greatguy on not cluttering up the first post. Thanks to you, we've gotten it looking much nicer, I'd like to keep it that way.

If everyone is open, I'm willing to track breeds once a month or so so we can keep the prize points and counted breeds as current as possible.

My only idea was to have generic commons be worth 1 point or something since they're extremely easy to find. I was half-asleep when I wrote that, which is why my post may have been a little confusing. Sorry.

If you're willing to be keeping track and it's not too much of a bother, go ahead! I can't think of a reason why it could be a problem. I think it would be a great help.
