Posted February 11, 2013 Excuse me, I never said Zagan would have to be dropped. It might be hard to RP him with no one up top (although I was planning to have something happen up there to move things along once I knew for sure who was in and who was out), but by no means do you have to drop him. Other matters of business - Emeraldmay and SoiledLove told me they'll have to drop the RP, and I had no way of contacting Pudding to check him. I'm not sure what's up with FlamWyvern. He's supposed to be in Zagan's mane As for the questions, I agree with what Pi said the last page: Well, the reason that Hidden Power works like that in MD is because of the lack of IVs and EVs. Since we're personalizing our pokemon to a certain degree already, and have essentially given them IVs by stating which stats they are good/bad at, my opinion is that we should have it work like it does in the main series. Besides, we do have Secret Power as a move that changes based on the area, so it seems a bit redundant. For legendaries, I think that the major ones shouldn't have names. Names are generally a way to identify yourself, and if you're the only landorus in existence anyway, there's really no point in making everyone refer to you as something else. For cases where more than one individual of that species exists, like shaymin, that's another matter...unless we decide to turn it into a running gag or something. :\ "Shaymin, go send shaymin and shaymin to help the adventurers out, would you?" I want someone to draw that out now. And on the subject matter of the power of moves, let's look at some of the calculations for Slash when the user is holding a scope Lens. Slash has a high crit ratio, and the scope lens boosts crit chance, giving leo a 1 in 4 chance of landing a critical hit. It's base power is 70, and Leo gets same type attack bonus. So if Leo lands a critical hit with slash, adds up to a powerfull attack. Meanwhile, Faint attack, with base power of 60 is doubled to 120 by leo's ability Ouch, reed may use powerfull attacks, But Leo makes his moves powerfull himself.
