I decided to stay nice, simple and neat. I'm a bit of a minimalist when it comes to Holiday decorating. I may change the walkway as I'm not overly happy with it, but otherwise I'm done. I think.

I love your house. The lake is cool and I love the overgrown look.

 

Yes, this event has stirred my imagination much more than the tree and wreath decorating. There are so many things to choose from that the possibilities are endless. Still, I tend to think inside of the box. I am envious of those that can think outside of the box. I suspect that I will see more houses that make me say "I wish I had thought of that"

feel free to use my pond idea as a starting point, I was thinking about making it into a fountain, would be cool to see somone do it.

 

edit: Could probably make a small fountain on the right of your house from what it looks, maybe consider leaving some fence open for better visual.

I saw yours in the other thread already. It's gorgeous! *applause*

 

I love all the details people added around the house. Trees, fences, lakes, lampposts, swings, ... I don't want to add more to my house because I'm afraid it might become too cluttered. But I'll keep all the ideas for the next time. Or for the case that I ever decorate a real Gingerbread house.
