I do not understand the mushroom gravy and stuff. How in the heck??

I'm missing so many recipes and they aren't dropping. Like mashed sweet potatoes and mushroom gravy.

 

Also for the people searching for Hollies: I caught my first one this year when they were dropping like crazy, then I caught a second, and I've gotten the "you've already gotten the limit for this breed" message twice- once about 5 minutes ago. Edit: and again 30 seconds ago.

 

They're still dropping!! Please don't give up!!

re: Hollies in the AP --- I hadn't thought about it much, but yeah, they do seem a lot more common this year than they ever did last year or the year before.

 

Seems like it may be getting easier with passing years to get a Holly. That cheers me up.

How is the pie icon supposed to look when you've done all the recipes? I think I have (as I have what looks like a nice golden brown pumpkin pie) and have not seen a recipe card in awhile - but I want to make sure

Hmm... Perhaps my cats didn't get to it, then. There aren't any recipes, only a bolded "C" is showing up for me. I cleared my cookies and also tried it on another browser, too.

Just keep trying - I found it helped to pick just one egg spot on the AP page and hope one shows there.

i have been trying since this started and no luck grabbing a holly looks like i will not grab one this year -i will try next year- I do not even have one yet.....

I been trying all day and night trying to get one still no luck

 

Oh well happy to see that other people atleast have one so they can breed next year and we can start to see more hollies

I totally love that people are giving away their Holly eggs as some sort of Christmas present (this is also the way I got mine). It makes so many people so happy and what can I say, that's the Christmas spirit for me! Next year I'll totally do the same with my Holly as soon as it can breed.

I know they're rare and hence worth a lot, but some people are trading them exclusively for things like other Hollys or CB golds/silvers, eggs I haven't seen in the Cave for months and which I would never trade if I finally got one anyway. I mean, it's ok, it's their way of playing, but I just prefer the other way. Thanks to everyone who made someone smile these days by gifting them a Holly dragon! You guys rock!

Anyone else having problem with the recipes? No matter what I do, I tap on them, the items wont show up on the recipes, and no matter which recipe i have all necessary items of, it wont make them, but jump back to the holiday index page of the cooking event...

I am on a tablet, android basic browser... it worked before.. but now it refuses to make anything...

Does the Mushroom Gravy and the Mushroom Soup Recipes require the Red Star Recipe Cards? For the life of me whenever I tried making those recipes I always ended up with giant messes...

 

Edit: Never mind. I just found out what happened. The Recipe Data Base is missing the Sliced Mushrooms Preparation Recipe Card....

The red ones with a yellow stripe are Holly eggs

 

The ones that look like candy canes are Yulebuck eggs

 

The ones that are yellow with a single red and a single green stripe are Snow Angel eggs

 

The ones that are green and kind of shiny with red and brownish markings are Ribbondancer eggs

 

And the ones that are yellow green red-swirly with snow on top are Butterbutt (aka Winter Magi) eggs.
