He didn't need to land, he flew all the way from the Dark Woods to the Academy and only rested three times. As far as Valravn went, perhaps as all flying races went, Choru was a Red Baron. "I'm not counting for you... racist." He assertively told her, adding the last part under his breath. Oh, because he was part canine he obviously was open to fetch jokes. Ha ha, maybe he'd throw a chicken at her and call her a Foxgirl. See how she liked it. The world was a bunch of comedians. The explosions on the ground were startling but he kept his cool, soaring through the arcs that she made with her throws as if it was a light show in a crazy circus with him as the main act. He brushed one sphere with the very tip of his rustling feather-like fur as if it was hair being brushed by a baseball whizzing passed the top of a boy's head. It didn't touch his body however, and as such he chalked it off as a 'too close for comfort' instead of a hit. "Two!"

(I wrote the post, and I don't want to edit. The imps that will be mentioned jumped through the portal at Zeek, not on him as he came through.)

Morke grinned at Zeek and gave a slight wave before he turned to Coorta, who was charging. The fool... he wasn't going to attack her or anyone until they attacked him. This would mean two against one. Not very fair or sportsman like, now was it? Charging Morke wasn't the best idea for any dragon hatchling, since he was such a little monster and grew fast. The injury on his belly had healed by now, be it Choru's medicine or Morke's monstrous growth. He faced the charging horse dragon the way a ram butts heads with another ram, curling his head down just so much that his dark red eyes could still see her and facing his tiny antler nubs at her to accept her blow. Terrae didn't always butt heads in the wild, but most large dragons had thick skulls anyway, add on the fact that Morke was so large for his age and had ivory nubs already. At the same time he opened another claw portal, the previous two portals began shrinking. He still wasn't advanced enough to divert his energy so much. This time it wasn't bugs that came from the portal, it was four small imps only a few inches tall. To a hatchling dragon, they were the same size of people to adult dragons. Those four imps took off at Zeek while Morke dealed with Coorta.

One imp jumped up at the flying dragon, trying to grab onto one wing. No doubt he would get tossed about because of Zeek beating his wing... but hey, it was a valiant effort for a glorified Dungeons and Dragons figurine.

"Oh, I'm not doing a- dance that has any name. This one's- special just- for you." Sin paused every time Dain sent a blow to focus on countering it. His first punch she blocked, the second she deflected, and the kick she dodged. The boxing style was very reserved and based on power, in fact she seemed rather stiff when she fought, like a wall. But like a wall, Sin was giving no ground. In fact, she boldly advanced and began a barrage of close combat punches, taking advantage of him trying to force her back. She didn't want to give him leeway, he seemed like he was a nimble man and speed was strength's counter. She would have to be relentless. Of course, the whole time she made sure her fists were closed so she didn't cut anything with her claws. She sent two jabs, multiple quick punches, even a feign thrown in once or twice. She waited for him to give ground, step back, then she would give a harsh uppercut to his stomach to attempt to knock the air from him.

Dain's grin went to a smile. It was a concentration based smile, however it was obvious he was enjoying the skirmish. Dain didn't care to dodge any of the attacks, and chose to simple deflect or block. Dain fought with and open hand, allowing him to use his hands to deflect Sin's punches, and catch them when needed. Dain frowned at the flow of the battle. It wasn't looking good for him, though he had notice the fact that Sin hadn't moved, whether that be not to lose ground, or just part of the style, he didn't know. Dain had dropped his knives and he planned to use them. "Oh, well isn't-" Dain dropped to his knees, and grabbed one of the knives. "That sweet," he then swung it out planning to stab Sin in the leg. "I think I'll dance a special dance for you too."

After he finally found this Professor Gale and got his schedule, Syasurru looked in over and gave a look of disgust at the classes he'd been assigned. He'd missed his first classes thankfully thanks to some very lovely ladies. He had Gym today, but there was no way he was going to that class now. Hell, if he could help it at all, he'd never go to it. Sya knew he'd have to go, but that didn't mean he had to like it. Oh well. Nothing he could do about it, except make the best of this utterly dull situation and keep people on their toes. Like most every fairy, Syasurru loved all things mischievous, and hiding the Siren/Naga woman's clothing was utterly irresistible for him. Just to make the prank extra delicious, he made sure her clothing reappeared in another students room, though he'd thought about sending her on something of a treasure hunt for them by casting her garments all through out this hellish abode, or placing them neatly in her own room. However, his intent was not to humiliate her, so the former was out of the question and the later was just too boring. Thus when he saw the names of the students as he picked his room, Sya chose the Nihounese boy's room for the clothing to reappear in. He couldn't help it, the temptation was just too great for him to ignore. Making his way down to the hatchery, Sya stopped and flirted with those who recognized who he was every now and then before excusing himself once again, though he always promised to honor them with his presence later.

To Sya, flirting was something of an art form, which he took every opportunity to practice. It was going to be one of the few things that would make this place bearable for him, besides pranking people of course. As far as pranks go, Sya was already hard at work planning a new one. He made sure to note the architecture for hiding places, or good spots for other types of pranks. This castle was old, so he knew there would most likely be hidden tunnels to use as escape routs and such. Finally arriving at his destination, Sya opened the door and looked around unsure of how to chose from them. Picking up a bright orange egg, as soon as he sensed this wasn't the right one Sya put it back and resumed his search. He saw some lovely golden eggs, one was silver and gold and had a Yin/Yang symbol and Sya reached for it, knowing the egg wasn't actually metal, when out of nowhere he heard a very stern voice say, "There you are. I've been waiting here three days for you to get here and you're late!"

Sya turned to see the most adorable lavender hatchling sternly tapping her foot on the floor. Gazing into her pretty purple eyes, Syasurru gave her a winsome smile as he stood and bowed to her he replied, "Prince Syasurru Kai-Peng Zezchth at your service. I apologize for my tardiness, little one, but I was waylaid by maidens in need of assistance. If I had known I was going to be companions with one so lovely as yourself..."

The little lavender dragon rolled her eyes as she interrupted, "Oh spare me would you. My name is Iris. Now, I'm hungry so escort me to the cafeteria."

Syasurru was completely taken aback by his hatchlings reaction to his introduction. No one had ever ordered him around like that, but he recovered quickly and replied with a sly grin, "Your wish is my command," Opening the door, holding it for Iris he continued, "So just what kind of dragon are you? Also how did you know I was coming?"

Iris huffed a sigh and hung her head as she said, "Great he's not just selfish..." Not finishing the sentence as she walked past, Iris rose her head high and continued, "I am a Great Serpent. I didn't know you specifically were going to be here. If I did I'd have stayed in my egg for eternity. As for my talents, I can use healing magic. What about you?" The last bit of that was an attempt to be polite, despite her attitude. She wasn't sure what to make of Sya just yet. Something about him drew her to him, even though she hated his cavalier attitude. Maybe she could whip the boy into shape and turn him into a man instead of the selfish brat he struck her as. While they walked to the cafeteria, Iris began to see just how much of a job that was going to be. She knew if it wasn't for her presence, she knew he'd be doing something he shouldn't.

Her words didn't sting him, he knew this was just how Iris was, so instead of being all offended he simply smiled at her and answered each question Iris shot at him as they found their way to the cafeteria.

Coorta sped up in her gallop. A cloud formed over her forehead, rumbling. Morke had lowered his head to take her headbutt and she gladly gave it, leaping and smashing her head to his. As she did, the small cloud burst, releasing an electrical charge. Zeek fluttered over head, shaking the little imps from his wings. Grumbling, he covered himself in a bright light.

Jaden raced through the corridors, smelling the ground as he went to backtrack where the other team had come from. He came around the corner, seeing the flag sitting in the opening. Well this can finally be over he thought. His eyes finally registered a person standing next to the flag. Or rather, a werewolf grinning almost creepily. She could smell him too.

Nami frowned as he evaded again, "Whatever, sugar, I'm not leaving you alone" she assured. She made 9 more lightning balls of lightning and sent them after him again. she lurched forward, moving in suddenly blinks of high speed. She glowed bright yellow each time, resembling a lightning bolt. She jumped up, try to grab a paw- anything really.

She had the upper hand in a fight of hand-to-hand combat, but he pulled his knife. He dropped and took a stab at her leg, and she only managed to pull her calf back so that he cut her instead of stabbing her. She had almost forgotten about his knife. Perhaps another important member of a race would have complained or called his shot cheap, but Sin called it carelessness on her part. Her mistake was rewarded with a deep gash, which was quickly staining her pant leg red. No more fancy punches, she wasn't just a boxer she was an Azel, with fangs and claws and enough muscle to wrestle a bear. Possibly the strongest member of the Humanoid Family. She wouldn't forgive herself if she lost to anything but a beast.

Him being on his knees would make it harder for him to see the blow that could score Sin a KO. She braced both legs on the ground and grabbed the knife she'd been saving in her belt, holding the blunt bottom pointed downwards but away from his head. She raised her arm up, then brought it down not only with the muscles in her arm but also throwing her whole back and shoulder into the thrust as well, looking to slam her elbow down on his head at full force.

((Feel free to dodge that, it's a slow move for a close combat maneuver. It's no charge for a Kame Hame Ha but considering how fast hand-to-hand is it's pretty slow.))

~~~
If Nami had assumed he'd wanted to give up earlier because he wouldn't be able to fight back, she was mistaken. But for now, everything was relying on his breakneck speed, even if he was hatching a plan. He knew full well she wouldn't let him go if he managed to avoid nine attacks... but he was smarter than most whining loudmouths were.
If all of her attacks were based off of lightning, then that power was most likely based off of lightning as well in some way. Either the spheres below acted as lightning rods to which she could blink to, or she was moving at the speed of a jolt of electricity. If it was the more threatening latter, Nami would have a hellish time turning and the walls would work to his advantage. She jumped upwards and he simply altered his course upwards, skimming the magical top just by a feather on his tail before diving back down again, at the wall. When he reached it he kicked off of it with his feet for another boost, never leaving Nami too far but staying out of her reach. Somewhere along the line the tips of his wings had started to glow a faint blue, which grew just a little bit brighter with each announcement of a number. Whatever he was doing with it probably wouldn't matter in the long run, his magic sucked at all times until he got a sacrifice, even if he was charging it for an extended period of time like he was obviously doing now. He was definitely planning something. "Electro balls and blitzing! Tsk tsk, now we're at four!"
The imps dispersed as Zeek used light magic. Like water to fire and earth to air, light was dark magic's counter. Morke would have focused on that, but Coorta had rammed her head into his and shocked him with her storm cloud. It didn't knock him down, but it dazed him for a few seconds... but when he snapped back out, he was angry. No fair! He hadn't expected her to zap him! She cheated! He went up on his haunches and balled his fist, then swung it to punch her in the face like a toddler who was angry at another toddler. Not claw her or bite her, nah. He was gonna punch her.
"Morke! No punching!" Morke stopped and looked up at Choru, who was still dodging electric blasts. What a spectacle, a dragon hatchling crossing his arms and pouting while a flying wolf was being shot at like a plane in a dogfight. "But papa! She cheated!" "You're a- Yipe! Big dragon, you'll hurt her. Out magic her, no biting, no clawing and no punching!" Choru narrowly dodged an electric ball during his reply. Morke grumbled and looked at Coorta. He didn't want to bother with her, he saw her as a real cheater-cheater pumpkin eater.
"You're stupid and dumb, like a moldy pancake." He backed up and clawed the ground, scratching another summoning portal. This one was the size of the portal Zeek had flown through, but it had the torn edges of the portal the imps came from. From this hole came a beastly figure whose arms were bigger than its legs like an ape, twitching as if it was made of many creatures smashed together. The figure was all black except for two yellow lights in its 'head', like eyes. It wasn't as big as Coorta, but it did come up to her chest. He snorted at her, then diverted his attention again to stalling Zeek. He opened another small portal which had bugs crawl out of it, and sent the ladybug-like beetles at him. These bugs were making low humming sounds that sounded depressing. They were a kind of dark beast, on the lowest end of a dark magician's summoning skill. To an experienced mage they mostly caused light sadness and nothing more than a few sighs. On young animals however, it could make them think of the most depressing thoughts possible and go into crying fits. After all, most kids tended to cry over anything. Imagine something created to cause those random fits. A busy caretaker's nightmare.
Mistry knew that Tatsuke was following her but she didn't bother to make that awareness known to the boy. Taking a left here and a right there, the Gracidona calmly made her way through the maze until she came upon Tatsuke's team flag. Now, she knew that Tatsuke would have to act unless he was fine with her taking the flag. However, taking the flag was only half of the objective; the other half was bringing it back to her starting point.
With a quick trot, she made her move towards the flag. How was she going to grab it? It was too large for her to pluck it out of its stand with her mouth. She would just have to hope the teacher understood this and would allow enough leeway for her to carry it on a gust of wind. Her green fur ruffled faintly as a breeze swirled around her before shooting towards the flag to dislodge it and carry it a few inches above her on her way back.
---
They were both hungry, he more so than she. She was simply tired after using much of her energy to break through the egg shell. He hadn't had a proper breakfast yet. Since he wanted to keep an eye on her to make sure nothing bad happened, she grudgingly followed along.
Felic carried Sorge (he managed to figure out her gender and the naming process became much easier) in his folded arms, glancing down every other second to watch her doze. It brought a gentle smile to his face, watching her tail twitch slowly and feeling her steady breathing against his pale skin. Sorge didn't seem to be a handful, only curious about her immediate surroundings for a few seconds before wanting to fall asleep in her nest. However, when his stomach started complaining more than his subconscious did about waking her, he started for the cafeteria with sleepy hiccups from the dark colored hatchling.
When he stepped onto the first floor and drew nearer to the food lounge, he faltered slightly in his step. Someone was irritated at someone who simply felt... mischievous. He couldn't put any other word to the latter for what they were feeling. It was a mixture of rambunctiousness, a sense of trickery, and the desire to play; the emotions of a trickster ready for mischief.
And Felic didn't fully like it.
Sorge, feeling the disturbance in his stride and tensing of his body, shifted to look up at the Empath. Softly, she nudged his ribs with her head, rubbing the dull nubs that protruded from the backsides of her skull against his torso. They would grow into decent horns, most likely sharp enough to gouge flesh and possibly scratch most types of metal. For now, though, they couldn't do any sort of damage except possibly leave a small bruise given enough force.
The nudge made him refocus on the hatchling and she seemed to vibrate with a small purr. Calm. It almost seemed as if she were speaking vocally to him and Felic couldn't help but wonder how long it would take for her to start talking. Was language acquisition the same for dragons as it was the same for most other races? He didn't know and he wouldn't know until he studied for years.
Taking a deep breath, the Empath turned to the food table to gather his plate and a small dish for Sorge. Once settled on his meal, he finally made his venture to one of the cafeteria tables, hoping to avoid any encounter with the source of mischief; a fairy of all creatures.
Tatsuke really didn't want to do this, but he couldn't let Dain down. Not after he picked him for his team and put his trust in him. He stepped out from behind the corner, shifted into a fighting pose. Contrary to popular belief, not all Nihounese males were ninjas or samurai, but he at least had his magic and his wits. With a flick of his hand a blob of ice magic shot out which would pin the flag to the wall so it wasn't in the air when they were using wind magic, which he knew would eventually come into play. His face was grim, not like many of the other races who may be smiling as they fought. He was not one of those races, and he hadn't known gym was going to be all-out fighting. He thought it would have been something tame like... basketball, or soccer. In fact, if him and the council back in Nihoun knew what this class was going to be like, he may not have been enrolled in this class in the first place.
But he was here now, and he wouldn't complain. Not verbally, at least. People were counting on him and he couldn't afford to hesitate. His mind pondered for a fleeting moment if this was what his grandfather felt when he was on the battlefield, or what his own father entertained until moments before the navy was laid to rest on the seafloor? Magic gathered in his hand while he observed the section of the labyrinth he was in. He brewed a plan quickly and launched a fireball at Mistry, not looking to hit her necessarily but trying to drive her in sideways like a steer. Time for the game to begin.
After the attack of his missed, Dain looked up to see where exactly he was heading as he stood. A good thing to as he saw a knife butt coming towards him at a high speed. Dain's attitude on the fight changed instinctively. He didn't have time to think, only move. He dove forward, towards Sin's legs, reaching out to grab them and tackle her down. He figured she had to options, jump back or let herself fall. Dain felt her elbow skim his side. He tried to activate his magic so that her hand could harmlessly slide through him, but to his dismay it didn't work. Dain didn't understand why and truly didn't care to figure it out. It hurt, Dain would be the first to admit that, however all he could do was ignore it.
((Sorry if I stepped out of bounds there, I wasn't sure where on the handle the hand was and when I pictured it hitting, I figured it would push in enough for her hand to touch him as well.))
This was going to be interesting. Jaden figured he'd just start it off by running straight for the flag. Kira snarled and stepped forward to block him. Jaden ducked down, weaving closely behind her. Kira readjusted the height difference and swiveled around, swiping the puma hard. Jaden tumbled away from the flag at the blow and used his claws to skid himself to a halt on the crystal surface. Kira charged again, swiping with her claws despite the no maiming rule. Jaden ducked, feeling his fur get skimmed. He jumped around her and jumped to the flag. He realized he couldnt pick it up without hands and shifted to his normal form. He grabbed the flag and sped of right as Kira jumped on where he was. Jaden fled back down the halls frantically with Kira chasing. Jaden was fast, but in his bipedal form he couldn't outrun her for long.
Nami huffed, annoyed. "Just hold still. It'll just tickle" she smirked. She created 9 more electrical balls as Jaden made it to their little clearing. "Help" he called breathily. Coorta turned and performed a back kick on the large bug, "Disgusting" she snorted. Zeek kept his light cloak on, tucking his wings in he made a dive bomb at Morke to try and aim for the source of the bugs ((Chell?)).
(Sin wasn't focusing on hitting him with the knife, she was looking to smash him on the head with her elbow with all her force. She just made sure the blade wasn't going to stab him if her arm slipped or he dodged. Using her elbow throws her whole shoulder and even a decent bit of her back into the thrust, looking to knock him outcold so she can advance while he wasn't suspecting something so brutal. Her hand probably wouldn't be in play because of the way elbows work. This move you gotta dodge to avoid, because she could break down a wooden door with the force she's using. I'm sorry if it sounds power-play-y, but to help counter the raw power it possesses the move is rather slow for close combat.)
(Say, would her nulling work if she had a long sleeve? For the sake of simplicity she's just got a T-shirt, but if she had a shirt on and Dain tried to do the phasey-thing, would the fabric of the sleeve go into his noggin then get stuck there when her flesh got to him?)
(Sorry I'm being stupid with posting. I'm getting back to school and doing many things that make me do things, like not do computer. It's also two in the morning and I don't know how to human. Me do many much with the posting in the two of morrows, for now you all take my sorry and you like it.)
There was ice again but it didn't touch her this time; instead, it hit the flag. Mistry's ears swiveled at the sound, pausing in her steps as she turned her head to see what had hit the wall. The Gracidona snorted, using her tail to wrap around the metal pole and attempt to pull it free. The smell of fire interrupted her, grabbing her attention. As Tatsuke launched the small sphere of flames, Mistry stepped sideways towards the pinned flag.
She knew the boy did not want to fight as neither did she; this was something she could use against him. Silently, she stamped her front left hoof against the magicked ground and lowered her head enough to display the full growth of her antlers. She snorted again then tossed her head.
A gale of wind rushed outward like an angled slash, dispersing with an abrupt halt inches away from the boy; a distraction. Following close behind it was a solid wall of air towards Tatsuke's front and back. While he dealt with that, it took Mistry a few heartbeats to pull the flag free, shattering the bit of ice that held it to the wall. Hurriedly, she clutched the flag closer to her side and entered as best a gallop as she could manage with the situation. For evasion, she intended to take every turn possible leading to her team's end of the gym. Of course, with the flag pressed to her side, it caused her entire right flank, shoulder, and hip joints to rub against the metal pole; a minor irritation that would steadily grow.
[[she can't go too fast. The turns are a bit sharper than desired if she wanted to be able to take them at a full gallop. Plus, I'd imagine the flag would hinder her flexibility to a small degree. This is my guess. I'm not sure if it's entirely correct.]]
