It's not working for us. And if I can't view it, it can't be entered. We need the exact web address with all the little "http://", "www." and the ".com" plus all the stuff in between.

Still nothing. Are you sure you're not trying to link directly from your computer?

 

Photobucket is very, very easy to use and directly creates all sort of codes for posting back in signatures, forums, etc.

You keep changing what website your image is located on. First you say it's ColorFront, then you tried ImageShack, now you have the website as the actual name of the image (waternymphandfriends).

 

If your image has been uploaded to a website (you're saying ColorFront), bring your image up on your computer on that site. Right click your image. Select "View Image" and click on it. That should single out your image and show nothing else from the website. Copy exactly what is in the address bar (all of it) and paste it into the "http://" button or even the "IMG" button and make your post.

 

It's the same as posting the image of a dragon egg in the trading threads or posting a lineage link Summer Lineage. I can even take your avatar and post it directly from this website: http://forums.dragcave.net/html/avatars/Dr...y_Lythiaren.png

You don't have to enter a brand new picture but make sure your picture is entered before the given date (in this case october 13).

And we all asume it is your own art work, why would you enter something you did not make?

Plenty of people would do that to win. People do it all the time.

What's the fun in winning with someone elses drawing (photo, digital thing) on a humble board with the huge honor of hosting the next contest?

That would be sad, very sad...

I thought these contests were mainly about the fun and enjoying each others works and I'd rather think of people as kind and fair, before thinking they might cheat with someone elses work right away.

Even if there was a time limit, someone could easily say they made it within the limit. There is no way of knowing if they cheated, but like Aerouant said, what is the fun in cheating? It isn't yours so you didn't really win. The picture you submitted won.

I'm glad Digital art is allowed because I can only draw with a Mouse (weird tool for drawing, right?). I hope this little guy is allowed. It's been many years since I drew anything, but I always liked this one, even if it's not good at all. I hope it's clear that it's supposed to be water on the image and not just blue goo. o_o;
