New contest!!!

 

The first theme for this new thread is plant life. Examples would be flowers, trees, vines, a landscape, or any art piece with a plant in it.

 

The Rules:

- One entry per person

- No sprites or digital art is allowed. Only sketches, paintings, charcoal drawings, etc.

- Artwork has to be made by yourself and can't be just a cool dtawing you found on DevaintART or something. If someone else's work is in the picture, there needs to be something extra.

- No digital editing of the drawing is allowed except for cropping and brightness/contrast edits

- When voting, please don't select your own image. That just isn't fair.

- You are free to submit an old drawing; you don't need to draw a new one just for this competition.

 

Deadline: Wed., September 26th

I find this quite interesting and love to enter, though I am not sure if I can have something ready before wednesday..

I think I might draw something for this if I have time. It been far too long since I've drawn anything.

And it would be nice to see the different drawing styles of other users.

It has been many, many years since I've had the time to do any artwork, but I still have some literally hanging around. Getting decent photos of them, however, has never been easy. This is currently the best I can provide of the only piece that can possibly fit this category. It is done in colored pencil.
