Posted October 30, 2012 Well I think I did pretty well for showing up a day or two late (was busy with class and never noticed the event starting, DURP) My last round of eggs hatches tonight right before the new halloweens start dropping, so right in time. In total I have: 3 pumpkins 7 marrows 9 shadow walkers What can I say, I love shadow walkers. Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) Everything's coming out okay, even though I didn't really have time to plan. Since Halloween is just around the corner, I might as well sum up what's happening for me. I have about six hatchie fodders and three adults, hope I get at least one zombie from them. And a generous player had helped me influence and hatch my last marrow:) The only flaw is that I just blindly grabbed eggs and still have two not ready to hatch I curse myself for being a newbie... I guess I'll settle for only three of the new releases, then. *shrugs* Or should I abandon the two eggs and egglock with new releases? Posted October 30, 2012 (edited) so i had a semi good haul this go around. though i do wish i didn't have to wait 9 days to find out if my SW is compatable with my Silver SW and Silver cause they are lovely together. that said, i managed to get snag a 2G PB Pumpkin so i now have a pair for next season. i also managed a 3G PB Marrow and a 2G PB Marrow. so i can do a 4G PB in 2014 *claps hands* i also caught this beautiful girl lineage which has inspired me to seek out a Holiday marrow EG project!! my goal next year is to get a 2G Marrow from the other Holiday pairings. the hardest will be a 2G from a Holly, but i'm tenactious so i wont be giving up any time soon. the lineage is rather pretty though *nods* Everything's coming out okay, even though I didn't really have time to plan. Posted October 31, 2012 I've actually booked the night off work on Halloween so I have maximum hunting time. - Stocking up on Zombie fodder. I want CBs this time around as my only 2 Zombies have puke-inducing lineages - Breed 2 2nd gen Shadow Walkers from Autumns for my leetle Autumn x SW checker - Breed my other spooky babies either to keep or drop to the AP / gift to others (still need to actually sort out what I'm keeping / letting go!) - Make sure I don't breed until any hilarious bugs or glitches are sorted when breeding week rolls in - I only have one Pumpkin. Must alter that - Try to catch at least 2 males and 2 females of the new release - Don't forget I have IOUs! I should probably tape this list to my monitor. 8D Haha let's see what I stuck to here... - 13 attempts at Zombies, but only two succeeded - Got those eggs bred, plus two 2nd gen SWs from Sunsongs for another leetle checker. :3 - Dropped quite a few spooky babies to the AP. None of them died (yay!) but almost all of them aren't named (boo!) - Didn't fall victim to any bugs or glitches - breeding went fine, as did the ToT and Aliset events - Now have two Pumpkins! - Ahaha yeah... the moving of the new release has landed on one of the rare days I'm working a 12 hour shift. Signed up to the new release gifting force just in case, but kinda hoping someone will take up an offer in my sig. >_O I really want to catch my own eggs, but right now it looks doubtful. Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) So, to sum up... ~ Gathered 4 more 2nd gen pumpkins, one more than my goal ~ Gathered 3 more 2nd gen PB Marrows, met my goal ~ Between breeding 2 of my Shadow Walkers and keeping the offspring and being given 3 more, gathered 5 2nd gen Shadow Walkers <3 ~ All my zombie attempts failed, sadness ~ Have all the trick-or-treats and Aliset items (though am I the only one weirded out by the random number 59 on the trick-or-treats? Is that significant somehow?) ~ And gave away a pretty stack of Halloweens to new kids who didn't have any yet. Now... to the challenging hunt that will be November 3rd! Posted October 31, 2012 I just finished breeding my dragons. I started running out of ideas so I got creative on what to breed them to. I did manage to collect 12 pumpkins, 6 marrows, 6 shadow walkers (one is being held for someone), and one lone magi. I managed to get 2 successful zombies (with only 2 fails) got the frozen halloween hatchlings I wanted, 2 Marrows, and 2 pumpkin hatchlings. Even though the release isnt until Saturday I still look forward to it because it gives us more time for picking up previous halloween eggs/hatchlings and to stay up until midnight for the release. Posted October 31, 2012 (edited) Well, all my lovelies have been bred as of now, so that's done and checked off my List-o-Things. I had a few hiccups, unfortunately. One or two of my CBs got bred to the wrong mate, and one 2ed gen did too. Sorry to who ever picked those messes up. 0/5 for my Zombie attempts. I do already have an adult and two frozens, so not too disappointed about this one actually. I'm very excited about all the previous Halloween dragons I got though. I was super picky, and tossed back I don't know how many(I only kept one or two i bred myself). Ended up with quite a few really cool 2ed gens. 2 Pumpkins, 6 Marrows, and 11 Shadows. Not sure how I'll continue a few I picked up, and I'm relaying on luck for a few of them to gender a certain way since I'm out of influences. Didn't think I'd be getting a chance to raise up a few more eggs, but with the November 3rd thing... Now all that's left if getting no sleep before I go into work early on Saturday. Posted November 1, 2012 (edited) I got the eggs I wanted from all of my breedings this year, with plenty of siblings sent to the AP. I have been planing this Marrow since I got his father last year, so I am super happy to have him all grown up. I wish his parents had bred more than one egg, so that others could have had them. Too bad he can't mate for another week, as I already have a mate ready for him. I now have a total of: 11 Pumpkins - 6 new, including s1 and s2 frozen hatchlings 14 Marrows - 7 new, including s1 and s2 frozen hatchlings 17 Shadow Walkers - 11 new, including s1 and s2 frozen hatchlings 4 Zombies - 2 new, including s1 and s2 frozen hatchlings I have never had such a busy Halloween in the AP, I got so many pretty lineages. I was a little picky this year, but there seem to be so many awesome breeders out there. My favorite is certainly this beauty. I can't wait until Saturday!
