I always wanted to build my own computer and I build one yesterday, finally. It was harder than I expected;;

I built one at last November. I keep adding something on that one until March. And that became this.

Going to build a computer for myself when I have the money... And since my bf's desktop is starting to give out, I'm going to help him build one, too. They're going to be for gaming and they're going to be awesome. I just need the money to buy all the parts....

So, looking for any advice on a potential gaming PC build.

 

Any thoughts? I'm already thinking of swapping out the case, though a few of the ones I had my eye on may have some drive bays blocked by my video card according to the compatibility checker. Not a huge deal right now since they're still technically compatible and I don't need all the bays, but for down the line with upgrades or future builds I wasn't too sure.

 

NZXT Phantom 410 was one of the ones I had my eye on.

I recently upgraded my grapchic card to GTX 970.

 

The other parts are still same.

i5-4570 cpu

8GB RAM

120GB SSD

1TB HDD

500w power

 

...etc.

Are there anyone who use graphic card that released on this year? (e.g. GTX 1000 series, RX)

If I gonna change one part next time it will be power supply, not graphic card though.
