Posted May 20, 2012 (edited) Hello out there! I wish you well! Since I´ve been a member here, a few people around this game have been so nice to me, that I wanted to say "Thank you" in a special way. I can´t send them flowers, but a little dragon can herald my best wishes. The purpose of this thread is to send thanks to those who are constantly helping others. Did you have a mentor from when you joined? The one who put up with all your questions and helped you learn? Send them Best Wishes! Do you remember the first person to send you a gift? Send them Best Wishes! No matter what the occasion, everyone loves to see a nice little gift pop up in their inbox. The first three hatchies went out to Lantean_Pegasus, Firebrand0, and Ulalena from DragonLilly on May 20th, 2012. Think of this as a chain mail. If you receive a Wish, send it’s offspring to 3 more people, and so on and so forth. Please don’t put it in your Spam box. Suggested Rules and Guidelines: You may start your own “Wish” line. Please include something relating to “Best Wishes” in the lineage name, and post here after you’ve got your first pair and have sent out a wish. *If it wasn’t obvious, if you start your own line, do it with CBs, or at least own the CB parents as well.* Wishes, the majority of the time, should be sent as hatchies. Most people are egg-locked constantly, and a hatchie is easier to take on. Plus, if you really mean your wish, a hatchie is the best way to say thanks. If you receive a Wish Dragon or send one out, please make a little note here and tell us your story. It may be cheesy, but hey, we all want to hear some good news from time to time, don´t we? If you receive a Wish, please do not bite, kill, or freeze it! If someone is nice enough to send you Best Wishes, you should respect that. If someone doesn’t follow this guideline, please report it here. If someone rejects your wish, move to the next person! I’m sure there is someone else who has helped you who could take the hatchie! Please look at the list and if the pair you´d like to be the parents of your special gift is "OPEN TO BREED" you may contact the owner and tell: - To whom the little Hatchie shall be gifted - If there is a special date it shall be delivered (perhaps a birthday, anniversary, etc.) and - If you want a special greeting to go out with the dragon. Please note: - All "Wishes to Others" are anonymous. We won´t tell your name! - We can try to breed but the rarer the parents are, the harder it will be to deliver on a special date. - If the gifted doesn´t take the hatchie, we will give it away to another person before it grows on our scrolls. Posted July 21, 2012 (edited) Hi, my dear Wishers! Sure you all want to know, whats going on here. Well... we had to start a new thread because when I did "Best Wishes" I was new in this forum, had never done such a thing before and didn´t think of posting more than one for later use. I only knew the rule: Don´t double post! Since the "Best Wishes" are much bigger now and constantly growing... so glad about that, I can tell you!!!... we had to find a better form for the organisation. The great idea of "Wishes for Others" and the need to organise this aswell was only the last drop. We tried to rescue the old thread for the last two weeks, but had to give in that it just wasn´t possible. We don´t want to loose any information, especially not the reasons why you gave your wish to a special person. So I want to invide you all to do a "Big Post" for you Lineage where you post again why you did your lineage this special way, how the gifted where chosen, etc. If you want you can do the update for your lineage for yourself, but Lantea will also update in the "official" Post. I´m sorry to tell you that Mikki has left us as a moderator. You all know that she wasn´t well for a time now and that she also has to keep her nice "Always"-Project running. Fallen_Leaf has joined the Mod Team and keeps all grafics and stuff updated. For that we are really greatfull! This new thread is ready for you now! Feel free to post! To wish upon these glimmering points of light is a tradition that dates back hundreds of years to the Romans, and possibly even further into the past. This nightly Wishes haven't lost any of their enchantment today, and if you see a shooting star you make a wish - for yourself or for others. This is the Wish lineage to do it here, too. The literal meaning of aloha is “the breath of life.” It comes from “Alo,” meaning presence, and “ha,” meaning breath. Speaking the word Aloha as a greeting means in Hawaiian "to share the breath of live". It also means "hello, goodbye, love, compassion, welcome, the good inside, kindness, unity, tolerance and good wishes. Aloha is a way of living and treating each other with love and respect. According to the old kahunas (priests), being able to live the Spirit of Aloha was a way of reaching self-perfection and realization for our own body and soul. The second one went to Irish_Dragoness, an amazing player who bred a perfect Silver mate for my Sweetling and many other mates for my Holidays, because of her kindness and dedication I can now breed and gift so many beautiful checkers! Posted July 23, 2012 Gah. Sorry I haven't been very active here. I was in China...just flew back to California. Stomach isn't doing so well. I don't know why I told you that... But I have a pair ready, but I haven't mated them yet. A male green nebula and a female red..why did I choose those? Why do you ask? Thoughts are what count when wishing for others. There will be different dragon lineages which carries a spell or a potion and one lineage which brings good wishes in general. Because the structure of the lineages will take up some time in breeding, please bear with me! I´ll present their first spell after finishing. Mostly there will be checkers for the spells and potions, the good wishes lineage will be quite colorful. I´ll start with a Pink x Golden Wyvern checker.
