Clotted cream is kind of somewhere between butter and whipped cream as far as consistency goes, definitely leans in the direction of butter, flavor-wise. Nothing like cream cheese at all in flavor.

 

As to the beets, yuck.

Yuck... and also, there's actually a difference between pork scratchings and pork rinds. Yes, I looked it up... for a band fic... finding popular British pub snacks. Different cooking method, resulting in very different textures as I understand it.

 

But if you want me to pull my "temporary Southerner" card...

I've never eaten them myself, so I don't know. But from the description, definitely crunchier than American pork rinds.

 

As for tofu, meh to yum depending how it's prepared.
