I´m growing my second row now. Will breed the third in two days or so. But I´ll name them when I´m finished. There are always some who gender wrong or don´t like the mate.

 

It´s really funny. My whole scroll is purple by now!

I´m in the 4th row now.

 

It´s harder than I expected it to be! But I can´t wait to see it finished!

It´s my biggest project till now and I´m really proud of my pretty horses!

Just wanted to check in and report on my progress here

I've got the parent generation complete, and I only need 2 more breedings for the next generation, but I'm always short on pinks to influence the children correctly. Is anyone else having that problem, too?

 

I really hope I won't get too many refusals way down, or else I'll be in trouble (I already had one in the parent generation, but it would be way more frustrating if this were to happen in later generations). I'm just a bit nervous because this is my first major breeding project...

I had more trouble with refusals. And I misbred the last couple. Now I have to wait a week. Frustrationg!

I finally found a good page with german translations of the sonnets. That was harder than I thougt. Most of them are so oldfashioned, that they just sound "dusty" but not emotional any more. If they are modern, they lack the elegance of Shakespeare´s English.

These are modern but still beautiful.

My Shakespearean Horses finally gave me the last egg. It was a hard piece of work, for I had two refusals on this pair and had to breed again. But finally... they like each other!
