The Caribbean Lineage

 

I love the Pirates of the Caribbean movies, and so I decided to make a lineage based off of it! However, since there are no "pirate-y" dragons, this is going to be based off the place, rather than the characters.

This lineage will consist of four separate projects: Stormy Seas, Tropical Paradise, Pirate's Booty, and Royal Navy.

 

RULES:

1. All starting pairs must be CB, except for those in the "Pirate's Booty" project

2. Freezing and inbreeding are fine (but keep inbreeding to a minimum, please!), but absolutely NO biting, killing, zombifying, neglecting, etc.

3. Lineage dragons can have mates outside the lineage (part of a different line, not named according to this line, etc.), but those mates and their offspring do not count as part of the lineage.

4. Naming requirements are as follows: All dragons must be named either with the project name (or something close to it) or something related to the Caribbean or the Pirates movies.

5. You must fill out the "join" form and either request an egg from a starting pair or submit a starting pair to join the lineage

6. Post an easily recognizable quote from the Pirates movies in your join request form if you've read the rules.

*NOTE: I think we have plenty of starting pairs at this point, so, although you still are able to, you don't have to post the form for every pair you have (though you can still post to let us know you have them!)

That way, if you don't really want to breed your pair for others, you don't necessarily have to.

**Other rules may be added as necessary.

I absolutely love and adore the "Curse of the Black Pearl" (must've seen it 100 times), and still like the next two well enough, so I'd want to support the project. However, I'd like to make a request, if I may... Since I'm rooting for the good Commodore as well , may I suggest we add the "Royal Blue" to one of the projects ? They have such a fitting RoyalNavy-name and the stately bearing to boot. If you could think about that I'd add a starting pair as soon as posssible (going to hunt CB RBs and Greys anyway). If that's asking too much I perfectly understand and will perhaps still join a little later.

 

In any case - may the wind be in your sails for this project !

I really adore this idea! It´s just wonderful! Love the movies and Lantean_Pegasus and me talked about them for HOURS!

I can change it back if you guys don't really like it, but it didn't seem like Royal Blues, with their personalities, fit into Stormy Seas all too well. So, what do you guys think?

Could Red and White be added to the Navy?

The Red for the typical colour of the "Lobsters" (Sea Soldier) Uniform.

The White for the spirit of honor.

 

We could than do the Flag of the British Empire. And we had a White Flag.

My "Pride of the Royal Navy" would gladly join the fleet!

She needs a mate, though. If someone wants to trade a Royal Blue Male, just tell me!

I´m sorry, but I had to change the names of some of my dragons because of their gender. Otherwise the names wouldn´t have the right position in the lineage.

As for your question, the lineage can go pretty much any way you want it to—even gen, stairstep, random, or whatever. Your project idea sounds pretty cool! I'd love to see the finished product!
