How do you spend your time?

I've been thinking....And I see what other topics there are here, and I think, why not add a new one? So, how do you guys/gals spend your time? Do you: Skateboard, play sports, read, write, think deeply, drive around-- That sort of thing.

 

What I do...is not fun, I feal like a lazy bum and spend almost 6 hours a day on the computer after school This summer I want to get a job...but it's not easy when jobs are tough to get and I'm only 14 and not many places are able to hire people at that age....I just hate fealing like a USELESS ENTITY [size/].

You really shouldn't feel bad about sitting at your computer. In this day and age, it gives you the same, if not more, chances for socialising that real life does. And you can do any sort of activity, from playing with your buddies to reading a book while listening to music or learning things, e.g a new language, just like you do "IRL".

Of course, that's just the humble opinion of a basement dweller whose favourite activity is stalking forums. (to answer your question, I also like reading books and manga, watching anime and digging through the internets for worthwhile fanfic. Oh, and let's not forget the obvious: I do quite love raising dragons. )

Reading (mostly fanfics, lol), talking to people online, killing time on some websites, writing (mostly fanfics right now, taking a break from original stuff for a bit to refine my writing and get more ideas plotted out properly), drawing, a lot of playing games.

And don't feel bad about being on the computer so much! Hell, I'd be a wreck (or even dead) by now if it wasn't for the 'net and all the time I spent on it. I've helped save a life, too, because of it. You can do a lot of the things you do offline on a computer, y'know? Talk to people, make friends, buy adn sell things, play games, learn stuff... No shame in having fun and relaxing, too, y'know? If you let stress get the better of you, it's worse than if you're relaxed all the time. Chillin' for 6 hours when you have the freetime to do it isn't a bad thing.

oh when I wake up it starts as the following:

1. I check my email

2. I check facebook and reply to whatever messages there

3. I check DC

4. I check vampirefreaks and reply to my messages there

5. I check twitter and read whatever messages Miyavi, Takumi and Gackt have which show on my homepage.

6. I go to msn to see if anyone is online.

 

From there on I'll be shifting back and forth between all the tabs to check messages and such :3

Am I going to miss this when I have school in 3 months... hell yeah... but I'll have my phone with me then <3

Dragon Cave, email, Gaiaonline, occasional work for class, and that's about it. No matter what, I'm usually in front of my laptop.

Just sitting on the computer, browsing youtube, replying to stuff on DC, making the occasional trade offer, nothing big, you'd think, except I spend 7-8 hours /doing/ it. My mom makes me get up and I listen to music and read. She says I need to exercise, I say we go shopping.

If I'm not doing school, I'm working on requirements for Eagle. If I'm not doing that, I'm working out. If I'm not working out, I'm playing the ukulele. If I'm not playing the ukulele, I'm shooting guns. If I'm not shooting guns, I'm practicing with my sling. If I'm not practicing with my sling, I'll be debating endlessly on online forums or playing maplestory. If I'm not doing any of those, I'm either sleeping or dead.

In seriousness, I spend a lot of time doing voluntary first aid work, playing on my new Playstation 3, doing the housework, and on my laptop. Occasionally I sleep. Mostly I'm at work.

During the school year I have a two hour commute to college five days a week so I can't really get a part-time job, and what little free time I have is spent playing in and modding a massive roleplay community. During the summer I work as a camp counselor and have a lot more time to RP, those guys are my life. And a bit of a handful.

 

Other than that just normal housework; cooking, cleaning, laundry, dishes, vacuuming. They might as well be hobbies with how much of a mess my dogs make, haha.

I have school and work to do, but on my off time I spend is usually sleeping, online stalking websites, bike riding, maybe out with friends, watching TV, or swimming.

In the summer, not much. I'm an only child and don't have any friends that live near by so I spend a lot of time playing video games, reading, drawing, and watching TV. I love to get outside and walk my dog, but it's usually too hot to do that in the summer. I also horseback ride.

 

During school, most of my time is devoted to schoolwork. I walk my dog in the evenings if I've finished everything and maybe have a sleepover on the weekends, but that's rare. I generally stay up real late during the school year so I can have at least a little free time.
