Two more successful breedings:

 

Turp x CB Silver = Turp

 

CB Gold x Turp = Turp

 

 

I'll have two more males to try for Turp x Turp later today. It would be nice to get some PBs. As far as the Ridgewing refusals, maybe the Ridgewings are so use to the clear, fresh air on the ridgetops that they just can't get near the Turps. lol I'll try some pairings next week.

Figured since I didn't have any breeding projects with turps or ridgewings right now, I'd throw my breeding attempts into the mix.

I find this very odd. I imagine it is a glitch, as it doesn't seem like these two species would have any particular reason to hate each other. Perhaps someone can make a new thread in the help section to address it?

Maybe this is because they are breeding worse if they are new. When the GWs were new, all of mine refused something. And after 3-4 weeks it got better. maybe the same will happen to the turps...

 

edit: I had the same with ridgewing. Everything else I tried worked. Just ridgewing didn't. Weird

Are any other breeds showing all refusals? It'd be cool if someone could make up a spreadsheet. Data wouldn't need to be kept for all the reported breedings, just make a checklist of all the other dragon species and mark it off every time someone reports a successful turp breeding.

I think Red2111 was making a spreadsheet (it's on page 1 or 2.) edit: I found it, though I'm not sure if they've had the time to update it, so I don't know how recent the last update was.

6 more Ridgewing x Turp flat-out refusals for me too. All other breedings with other breeds have resulted in: non-interest, no egg, or an egg, with only a couple random refusals here and there.

I've had succsess with tangar and turp...but haven't tried ridgewings. Maybe after I get another turp I'll give it a try.

The four breedable Turps that I had right now all refused their prospective Ridgewing mates, I aim to try all of my other Turps as soon as they are breedable again...
