I did Pokemon black/whites's sprite of Salamence and absol. Paint wouldn't let me rotate absol's horn the wy I wanted so I rotated 90 degrees right. Didn't work, but whatever x.x

I also failed my paint bucket.

Yours came out real nice for being a first, I must say. Rotating pieces of sprites is difficult, though, because they won't retain their crisp pixel-art quality. Usually you end up having to do it manually, by deleting rows/columns of pixels and adding them somewhere else (or just getting really creative and using the pieces without having to rotate them). You'll get the hang of it after a while. ^^

Stealthy, I don't mind :3 And... I had to redraw his neck a couple of times. The paint bucket won't go where the bucket is. It goes where the paint is.....

Honestly I think I like Euro's the most, and I think that's simply a matter of which way the pokemon fit together best. They're all excellent sprites! But I think Salamence colors on Absol's body look the best, just because the two fit best that way in my eyes. (Which is dumb, because I'm the one who asked for the other way around, haha!)

 

 

I think for now I'll stick with using Euro's version in my siggy. But I'd like to thank you all, so keep an eye out for PMs!

Wow, and I just did that cause I was bored

I felt an a salamance was too big compared to absol to highlight absols traits.

 

I also knew that two artists were already spriting and I did not want everything to be an all out contest.

 

Actually your request was inspiration for the contest.

Yes they did do a good job.

 

Another reason i switched them was because I did not want to mess up on it.

Fairy, are you saving these as gifs or jpgs? They're a bit grainy, and I think saving them as a higher quality gif or as png would solve that problem.

 

(Also, I think yours is my favorite. Evil mew is evil. )
