Posted April 5, 2012 (edited) That's what I mean, though. Do a whole body that is like a skeleton, only just lines and basic shapes, like circles. Then put skin and flesh and all that stuff over it. c: Most people, including me, begin drawing with basic shapes. I still do for my art C: Because I think you don't understand what Zovesta is saying, I made you a nice quick guide on how I draw my dragons, though I skip a few steps ^^; 1. Just draw circles and lines of how you want the dragon to pose as. In this one, it's sitting down. [red line] 2. I included the thickness of the neck/chest, the front wing, and the other two legs. [blue line] 3. I'm starting to include little details, like horns, the wing membrane. Notice that I thickened the limbs, for the muscles. [green line] 4. More details, mainly on the wing and tail. [purple line] 5. This is the other wing. I've put it in another position since, most of the time, the wings normally don't align themselves so perfectly that you can't see the other one. [light blue line] 6. Now that it looks great, I start my main outline. I've used a thicker line so you can see it as well [black line] 7. Take out all the other lines except the one on no. 6. Clean it a little, smooth the lines... and there you have it! A pretty cute dragon! PS. This is only for freezerpup. Please ask for permission if you wish to use/modify/do something with it.
