Posted May 2, 2012 I have an idea for an outdoors game. This particular game was played long after this time (In 1870's!) but I don't see why, for this case, we can't use it. It's called 'Snap the Whip' or 'Crack the Whip.' Multiple children hold hands in a row. One person, on either end, is the leader. This person runs in any direction, at any speed, they choose. The rest of the group must attempt to hold on to the whip. No real winning is determined, but it is a considerably fun pas-time. Snap the Whip by Winslow Homer Share this post Link to post
Posted May 2, 2012 sounds like fun and if when all of the dove children are holding hands they discover something about themselves...that would be interesting too ;P Share this post Link to post
Posted May 2, 2012 Good Idea! This relates to the time period well! Actually, it doesn't, but I thought it could be implemented nonetheless. Share this post Link to post
